Not quite enough to get me going, but then I met you. I'm a not so old Army retiree that likes to be prepared, and thought I was good. However, it took your monster Noco to get me running. My eyes are open, it's time for an upgrade! What I have will go into my better half's car, and I'll get the GB150. If EVER there comes a time I can lend you a hand, I'm here for the asking. Growing up in the country we would always keep a set of jumper cables with us on the farm to jump off our tractors and also to help someone out with a dead battery for free. In 1993 I bought a 1990 GMC truck, I jumped off one of my tractors with jumper cables. Right after that my alternator went out. I bought a rebuilt alternator at the local auto parts store with a liftime replacement. At work the next week I jumped off one of the guys in the parking lot that had left his ,lights on. Had to replace the alternator again, auto parts store replaced it for free. Four more replacement of the alternator for free the auto parts store gave me my money back and said go away. I went and bought a rebuilt alternator from another auto parts store and complained about the other auto part store lifetime alternator. The lady told me that theirs also had a lifetime replacement, but unless I did not want to keep replacing them I should not and she said for no reason jump someone off with that year GMC truck. I went out and bought a jump pack to use for the tractors when needed. Now 27 years later I do not jump people off anymore, sad to say with my vehicles. Have not had to replace that alternator in that truck or in any other one I own.

I can understand why people don’t jump people off anymore..all the crazy electrical stuff in their vehicles… I have jumped off a few vehicles including a 18 wheeler or two…but that has not messed up anything in my truck so far… and I don’t want it to… therefore the jump box… so far just testing it… I’m really impressed… thanks for the information and thanks for watching!
Did you turn your car off jumping? You’re supposed to charge the dead car for a few minutes first, turn your car off and THEN start the dead car. That way the alternators aren’t working against each other thus burning it out.
Ordered me one of these bad boys. Been looking at them and last two 5th wheels Iv picked up had the batteries already in them but they were dead and truck plug wouldn’t power up the landing gear. I remembered you doing this video way back when. Can’t wait to get it. GBO

I bought one as well and then did a return with Amazon and bought the GB150 instead and added the asurion 4 year warranty for $47 extra. One year warranty for a $300+ device that people are having so many issues with isn’t long enough for me. I have a GB40 for 5 years and it’s been perfect but it won’t start my truck. It only starts 4cyl cars.

The carrying case seems nice but I hope they modify it so the pockets have a closing/snap on flap. When you open that case on top of the motor, the charging cables will slide out and get lost between the motor.
the supplyed cigaret socket to USB C is the best and fastest of the leads to use, it runs at 60w. and will show the white high speed charging light as on. The usb socket to usb c lead will work slower but really needs a minimum new 45w usb phone charger for the high speed charge light to show as on and fast charging as well. hope that helps
I just purchased the GBX155 as my old shop had the GB150... why on earth would NOCO remove the voltage display on the new ones ?! Unbelievable. Im about to return this and get the GB150 just for the voltage meter...
@@mr.tennessee dont get me wrong. I dont doubt the boosting capacity. But i found working at the dealership that it really helped to know whether or not a no start was at 9V vs 4v vs 1v. It sure beats walking up to a no start dead battery with a booster in one hand and a multimeter in the other

Bro how many times does it charges before charger is completed dead and needs to be charged again. I got mine few weeks ago same 4250a i jump starting my car about 10 to 15 times before it’s completely dead is that normal or it dies too fast? Tell me it seems like it should last longer . I would have completely changed 100% with green bar been solid. I am doing my first charge and green light completely goes off to yellow light on the charger. So not sure if that’s normal…..I’m hearing also that lower amps 3000a naco lasts alot longer like 40 times or so trying to see how is yours.
