Ron I have been following you from a distance. I have been following Carnevale and that rebooted Dungeon Saga by Mantic. The latter palatable but no great shakes. It is a good dungeon as dungeons go and as good dungeons go it went. I didn't kick-start but bought the core and the first expansion. Discretion behoves a gentleman in all things. A man should be trepidzcious around dungeons.
Was heavily into D&D back i n the day, so many moons ago
Ron. I went, unusually down the pub. Surrounded by the pretty women who are part of the crew. I spent the entire evening ignoring them and talking about the different historical take on 15mm scales. We are serious if uncommen men. I am associated with a woman whose sympathy I find frankly astonishing. We wargamers are tricky fellows. Always Ron thank you for your uncommon escapades.
I wish pub culture was more of a thing in my little town
Another fine presentation, Ron.
Thank you Steve
I blame you entirely Ron. I have just been buying some more TT combat Carnevale figures. I will look at Dropzone Commander. I have been a general of armies but as I have grown older dotage or insouciance has has led me to small wars. I have a wife who seems under the distinct impression that a dining room table should not support a six by four plywood battlefield but be used for dining. As an old general I know there are some battles that you are going to lose. As always many thanks.
I am glad to hear from you my friend. I must admit That I was concerned by your silence.
I shall call this video Serendipitous.
Why?
My friends convinced me to get back in just today... quite funny really
Welcome back!
As always, excellent terrain.
Thank you!
Ron. I have been diagnosed with not just one but two cancers. My wife is crying and to be honest she is making the entire house damp. For God's sake one has to acquire optimism and follow some silly fellow who recommends Venetian skirmish. One does feel sad about letting the girl down. But for Christ's sake she slept with a man who had an entire English Civil War army. I think she was fortunate and beautiful too. She was Irish and beautiful. Best wishes. Not everybody has an ECW army and a pretty girl.
I hope you are doing the best you can
Awesome thanks 👍
Thank You!
Ron. I have known my wife since she was thirty five. She is fifty four shortly. I have known people who have collected Napoleonics and are liable to form square at the drop of a hat or in face of a woman. I have never seen so much ridiculousness. I don't fight the period because I am an educated. man. They call us uncommon. I think someone has got hold of the wrong end of a musket.

point the pointy end towards enemy.
My wife has momentarily disappeared. She normally resurfaces. She is very fond of furniture. Throw her a dining room table and you are normally set for the weekend. We have been married for twenty years and she tolerates my 15mm English Civil War armies which frankly I do not. I have never understood women though dear God I married one. I would not necessarily recommend it. Though I probably love her. They are difficult creatures like a fantasy army that you once thought was a good idea to bug on ebay.
I have been playing with the idea of buying a 15mm ECW army
Let us call it uncommon Ron to be bdrenched nby an enjtire bgutterful of water by a NJunber `85 bus.Actually uncommon was not the first word to nspring to mind.
This sounds unfortunate
Always excellent. Not quite my cup of tea. I often think these impartial reviews are helpful. One should not buy everything lest madness occur. I've been there. This most splendid of hobbies offers rabbit holes. Fortunately I have avoided the Napoleonic abyss. That way lies madness and beyond. It is a dreadful affair.😊
Different boats different long splices
You know Ron I follow well less than ten sites on the Internet. Half perhaps are wargame sites of which yours is one. A good recommendation for a skirmish game is hard to trust, though not find, these days. Digressing slightly I have twenty seven of the Ars Magica rpg books and have never for one moment understood how to play the game. I think I'll buy one more book and acquire nirvana. It has never been so. Rabbit holes are an ever present detriment to a war or role playing gamer. One idly walks and suddenly you follow a white rabbit into something less than a Wonderland. If you do armies, as I do with medievals, the English Civil War which is a true love, and the American War of Independence wherein I am liable to shoot ungrateful colonials you are most liable to find a decent rulebook. I don't have a Sci fi skirmish set though like most one picks up a few figures along the way. These would be small affairs as with a woman idly met in youth. We all have history Ron with small skirmishes. It behoves a gentleman to play by decent rules. Always a delight to follow your site. Thanks for your hard work. It is appreciated. I love this ridiculous hobby which extends from an alternative Venice to Naseby on a cloudy day. I walked that latter battlefield on the day that Diana married Prince Chzrles. We were, and remain, dreadful socialists in those days. I wear a buff coat and I am a leveller dear sir. Best wishes. I think the hobby is safe in our hands.
I do what I can....
