I'm always interested in seeing more than just GW games on MWG! Please continue doing this and showing people that there is more than just GW to collect and play!
Very cool to see MWG covering this game. I've been flirting with it for a while based solely on the scale and visual style. Hopefully at Adepticon next year there's some good opportunities to start out
Oh yes Dropzone Commander! definitely enjoyed this batrap want to see some more. I play this game with a friend a bit and we love it. quick rules note fast aircraft (arch angels) cannot come in turn one (last paragraph of the fast rule). when/if you get more comfortable with the rules I'd recommend using the experimental rules in the errata. aerial transports having to stay landed for the embarked squad to get out feels very thematic
Hooray the whole video! This was a lot of fun and I’m going to seriously look into this game. Especially DropFleet cause I love big space ships and starship combat. Would love to see a game of that on here as well.
When the camera paned over and the box of the UCM ships from Dropfleet focused on the screen, i got excited. For some reason, space ships have been my jam, Battlefleet Gothic (even battlefleet heresy), Star Wars Armada, even Halo: Fleet Battles (even though i've never seen it in person, ever, but god those models.) I'm doing the youtube stuff so maybe one day we get more spaceships cutting each other in half with massive laser weapons.
The drop series of games are honestly some of the best designed tabletop games I have encountered. They are significantly cheaper than most other tabletop games to get into and the model quality is very good. Would love to see more coverage of it
One thing for future gameplay consideration. This game measures from the center of the model. So when you have a falling dropship, the 2" would be measured from the center not the base. This is also true for LoS. You go from the center of your model to any part of the enemy model. If you can not see more than half of that enemy model they are 2 higher to hit.
For searching, it actually takes both actions to Search. With the normal rules you get free disembarks so you can get into a building and search right away, the Experimental rules make disembarking count as one of the disembarking units actions so they can not search the same turn (its good for balance)
Nice seeing dropzone here. Im not sure if infantry can do a search for a hidden objective the same turn they garrison a building. Searching requires the use of both action points and disembarking from a ground vehicle takes one of the two available action points. I think you have to be directly disembarked from an aerial transport into the building. Aerial transports like light dropships get a free action to disembark squads. We're supposed to be getting the 2nd edition of Dropfleet coming this year.
YES! I love the Drop verse. Especially Shaltari, When those start showing up I'll make sure to watch them at least 9 times each More Dropfleet and Dropzone PLZ!
Yeah it's always been an interesting game bit I think the early editions were a bit too cumbersome for their own good and then the company closed its doors until TTcombat acquired them. So it's been a rocky life for the game but thr models are great and mechanically it'd a very unique game
Love this game and universe. I cant wait to see a game of Dropfleet going down to Dropship, then going down even further into Striketeem! (after its release of cores.) The amount of emersion is amazing.
My friends havr all just got into this game and they are totslly loving it, i love you guys covering more games....40k isnt dying but it seems to be in boring place atm
Bought this game when it first came out and havent played in years as the "adult responsibilities" of life were thrown on my plate as happens to us all, really cool to see mwg post even a single video about it. This game was awesome i miss hawk wargames and the creator legit burnt himself out creating the game that he loved. The game play is what i always wished games work shop would move to. Alt activations and just list building is rock paper scissors so your lists are diverse and thematic and the entire game is a pleasure to play. Hope to see more but know the game isnt super poppular so will understand if we dont have more content. Cheers and thank you all for a great nostalgic trip. Always wish the game took off more and i remember watching batreps back when the game was at its peek from youtubers at their lfgs just to see the content and wished a more professional video batrep was available. Makes me want to bust out my scourge right now. The models were so easy to paint and look good it was crazy. Cheers.
Man Matt could go to town with a narrative and map campaign with the Dropverse. There are rules for simultaneous ground and space battles interfacing with each other.
Need more of this game! I’ve been watching MWG for over a decade now and I’m really happy to see this game get a video. I hope it can become semi regular!
Would need to see more games to really determine if i would watch this long term. i'm actually a lot more interested in the Fleet version. i've been craving a naval type game for a long time.
Thank you or doing a batrep on DZC. Nice to see you guys tae a look at more gamesystems. The Dropverse-games are really good and deserve more coverage. Please more!
One of the clubs I am at really has gone for non-giant company games lately, which is a very Good Thing. Infinity, Dropzone, Warmachine, Guild Ball, Dropfleet, Bushido, a bit of Battletech. Cannot play them all (at least not at the same time) but it sure feels great.
I don't comment often but this game looks so cool and I can't wait to see more of it. I hope this won't be the last dropzone battle report from you guys!
Amazing, and I'm so glad you did it. I had the u c m and shelter army at home painting and I can't wait to play it with my family And i'm so happy that you guys have many more gaming have played it and are considering playing more seeing how it was you guys are The ones who got me into miniature gaming at all
Yes please, more Dropzone! It's been a long time for me since a one hour batrep felt like 20 minutes. Maybe the 10mm scale is warping time... or it's just that engaging!
Really hope this gets at least some traction. I love DropVerse so much, definitely would even subscribe to your Vault if you'll get more videos of dropzone/dropfleet in the future
Hope we see some drop fleet especially as they announced 2.0 coming out in oct. Would be nice to see some more play, but i know its a little rough to get these specialist games to get the views to make it worth while
Hey guys, I'd love to see more of this. The Dropfleet 2.0 box just dropped, so maybe this is the right time for you to put some more time into doing a few combined campaign batreps. Communities probably won't ever get as big as most larger games, because TTCombat has always kept their things on a slow burn instead of publishing new stuff every month, but that's actually what is keeping their games good - new editions every other year and new releases that you have to keep in mind while listbuilding have completely wrecked most other company's games imo. If you did a batrep for dropzone or dropfleet once a month, I'm sure you'd actually get a lot more people interested, you are one of the major batrep factories on the web after all.
I'm always interested in seeing more than just GW games on MWG!
Please continue doing this and showing people that there is more than just GW to collect and play!
It is a shame that non-GW games don't last long on the main channel - but as a business I understand they have to publish what gets the views.
Playing Dropzone is honestly just a more fun experience than 40k, imo. Quite possibly my favorite.
Hell. Yeah. More DropVerse please!!
Very cool to see MWG covering this game. I've been flirting with it for a while based solely on the scale and visual style. Hopefully at Adepticon next year there's some good opportunities to start out

I'm a wargamer not a board gamer.
More stuff like this and less 40k / aos makes me happy. *shruggs*
But business is business, so oh well.
Its GREAT seeing this game get more attention! Its a great game with a really fun fluid system. Great paint job on the Scourge btw.
I would watch more of this and Dropfleet!
HELL YES
Hooray the whole video! This was a lot of fun and I’m going to seriously look into this game. Especially DropFleet cause I love big space ships and starship combat. Would love to see a game of that on here as well.
This is the first mini wargaming video I've watched in years, more dropzone please.
Very cool to see Dropzone, it's an interesting game!
More of this please! This game needs so much more attention, its the best!
Very happy to see Dropzone Commander. I would love to see some Drop Fleet as well, and/or an integrated game.
I love dropverse! Where I live our dropfleet group grew by 8 players in the last 3 months.
There's a decent scene near me but ive never played, this video has really sold it to me. Great to sprinkle in some different games on the channel!
Super happy to see Dropzone!
When the camera paned over and the box of the UCM ships from Dropfleet focused on the screen, i got excited. More drop zone commander please!
Dropzone Commander! YESSSS!
The drop series of games are honestly some of the best designed tabletop games I have encountered. They are significantly cheaper than most other tabletop games to get into and the model quality is very good. Would love to see more coverage of it
I really liked this and DropFleeet. My group abandoned it a while back but I still have all my stuff and do miss playing it.
So excited to see some Drop-verse at MWG! Would love to see some fleet next!

A Dropverse campaign would be a great thing to see. I've been sitting on a PHR fleet just hoping a bigger community springs up. Hopefully we see more!
Nice seeing dropzone here.

More Dropfleet and Dropzone PLZ!
Always great to see this game, even if 99% of youtube content is just people playing this starter mission. I'm hoping we see more!
Dropzone, let's goooo
Surprised to see this here. I’ve always wanted to play but could never get a group going. Hopefully it gets a resurgence
Yeah it's always been an interesting game bit I think the early editions were a bit too cumbersome for their own good and then the company closed its doors until TTcombat acquired them. So it's been a rocky life for the game but thr models are great and mechanically it'd a very unique game
Wow you guys finally made a Dropzone Commander battle report
This video has cause me to do a Dropzone/Dropfleet deep dive. I hope you continue to do batreps for these games.
Love this game and universe. I cant wait to see a game of Dropfleet going down to Dropship, then going down even further into Striketeem! (after its release of cores.) The amount of emersion is amazing.
Great video, and I hope you also do some Dropfleet videos. I also got a painted UCM Fleet but the game never picked up in my area.
YEES DO MORE!
Great game! Pls more of Dropzone and Dropfleed too.
100% one of the best war games. Hopefully we see more videos from MWG
Great video and battle report thanks. Looking forward to more dropzone stuff from you
I would love more Dropzone! Been a PHR player from the very beginning of the game.
Such a great and heavily underrated Game. I love the feeling that your units acutally interact with their dropships. Hope to see more content!
YES, great to see DzC getting love from channels like yours

Good to see DZC on here. Tried to get it going here but could not.
Great to see a bunch of diverse games in play!
My friends havr all just got into this game and they are totslly loving it, i love you guys covering more games....40k isnt dying but it seems to be in boring place atm
Great to see this on the channel, and I would love to watch some Dropfleet!
I really hope to see more of this! Love this game (And Dropfleet) and a big channel like you guys covering it can only mean good things!
Would love to see more of this game and just new games in general 😊
Those are some amazing looking minis--and they fit together?!!
Bought this game when it first came out and havent played in years as the "adult responsibilities" of life were thrown on my plate as happens to us all, really cool to see mwg post even a single video about it. Enjoying the love to the Dropverse!
Classic match up of UCM and Scourge, excited to see what else you got in the pipeline 🎉😊
What a nice and unexpected treat - dropzone most definitely deserves more love!
This is awesome to see on your channel. More Dropzone please!
Dropverse games are fantastic and full of flavour and it'd be a thrill to see more on the channel
One of the clubs I am at really has gone for non-giant company games lately, which is a very Good Thing. Infinity, Dropzone, Warmachine, Guild Ball, Dropfleet, Bushido, a bit of Battletech. Cannot play them all (at least not at the same time) but it sure feels great.
so happy to see dropverse content. I've watched this video 3 times already. its so hard to find people doing non GW games.
Wow, didn’t expect you to get into dz commander
Loved this! Keep these coming please!
I don't comment often but this game looks so cool and I can't wait to see more of it. I hope this won't be the last dropzone battle report from you guys!
DZC is the game I slowly collect all the factions and demo it to all my friends :D
Love some dropverse!
Nice to watch other games besides GW ones. Could you do battlereports abut dystopian wars and (in the future) Armoured clash?
We love to see some Dropzone Commander!
Gotta love the drop zone !
Amazing, and I'm so glad you did it. I had the u c m and shelter army at home painting and I can't wait to play it with my family
And i'm so happy that you guys have many more gaming have played it and are considering playing more seeing how it was you guys are The ones who got me into miniature gaming at all
Loved this battle please do more! This game is great! Get more units and armies as well they aren’t to expensive and really change the game!
amazing and wish to see more of it! Maybe even DropFleet!
Always good to see you straying from GW. Since you're downscaling, how about some Dirtside? Mr Tuffley deserves the love!
I notice this table was very terrain light, if you need some good scatter terrain micro machines and n scale train terrain work well
I'm just finishing up my PHR starter army, I'm glad to see DZC get more attention! Looking forward to more
Yes please show more!
Well done Josh enjoy the game waiting for more.
Yes please, more Dropzone! It's been a long time for me since a one hour batrep felt like 20 minutes. Maybe the 10mm scale is warping time... or it's just that engaging!
30:57 oof, these marines had their wheaties today
Thank you Josh for answering my question regarding what is Drop Zone Commander so now I will stop talking and just learn…🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
It was so much fun!
Really hope this gets at least some traction. I love DropVerse so much, definitely would even subscribe to your Vault if you'll get more videos of dropzone/dropfleet in the future
Dropzone is such a good game.
Seems like a neat game, not something I would jump in but definitely something to watch!
Game is so cinematic love this game!
We need more good games and less 40k
Keep em comming !
Great job
Honestly, I've been really looking forward to some drop zone and drop fleet!
Really excited to see some more DZC. I have a ton UCM of minis still NIB that are begging for paint. Looks like a ton of fun.
Yeah, That's what you get for trying to Invade SUPER EARTH!
The God Emperor would be proud.
It's always amazing seeing new games!!!! Don't suppose you guys would show some dystopian wars, too.......😅
Amazing video, thanks!
Hope we see some drop fleet especially as they announced 2.0 coming out in oct. Would be nice to see some more play, but i know its a little rough to get these specialist games to get the views to make it worth while
I hope you are able to do a lot more of this!
I wont lie the human units kind of remind me Command and Conquer Tiberium wars is GDI design
I'm in love with this game :)
I had never heard of this before. It’s interesting.
Hey guys, I'd love to see more of this. The Dropfleet 2.0 box just dropped, so maybe this is the right time for you to put some more time into doing a few combined campaign batreps.

If you did a batrep for dropzone or dropfleet once a month, I'm sure you'd actually get a lot more people interested, you are one of the major batrep factories on the web after all.
Oh yeah ! Finally !!!
Ive never managed to get a mega linked campaign type game in, but id love to see you guys do it!
Please showcase more Dropzone!
Hope to see more battle reports
