- Don't adjust your sets, it's Revenge yet again! The catch? This new rip is recorded direct from my actual N64. The new version of the N64 Sound Tool has a little something called predictor calculating, finally allowing me to dummy out sounds and have the sfx-less game play on the console without crashing.
This is 100% accurate, folks. No more guitars in the wrong pitch, just the classic tracks by Kōji Niikura and Ben as you remember them.
Who else got fuckin hype to this theme?
+Catlin Kallies I was hyped to the WCW Starrcade theme when I working on the heavy bag in weightlifting class of my Senior Year, most likely martial arts (almost like Eric Bischoff), submissions, and wrestling. Even some of my junior high school friends joined in.
Then used 1 mat, pretending it to be a wrestling ring, and stacked 2 more mats as a turnbuckle, that I way I would be able to use high-flying aerial maneuvers and corner grapples.
Fortunately, my weightlifting coach didn't mind at all. He allowed it.

Nice! He has used a few other pieces of music from this game, and a few from WWF Warzone. But he definitely always uses this one for the last Reliving the War segments.

They really pushed the N64's sound as far as they could for this and made the best of it.
Being a kid was so much better and easier. I miss the 90s. I miss gathering around my tube TV with my cousins and duking it out from six at night to eight in the morning. Hollywood Hogan was my go to guy. This game was just amazing.

I always loved how the percussion stops at 3:17 as if to indicate a dramatic moment in the fight.

Anybody else remember the joy of being able to draw a weapon from the crowd, say, like a baseball bat or a STOP SIGN, and being able to jump in the ring with it? As compared with World Tour, which only let you use weapons outside the ring. I'll never forget the cries of joy and amazement my friends and I had when Bill Goldberg (played by my friend Lucas) dove underneath the ropes into the ring with a giant STOP SIGN. Good times. Memories like that make me cherish my childhood. ;)
My cousin had this game, and I remember that I was playing this for most of a weekend during a family visit.

Man, the memories with this game and all of 1998 for gaming; This, Half-Life, Metal Gear Solid, Ocarina of Time, MediEvil, Final Fantasy Tactics, Resident Evil 2, Spyro the Dragon, Crash Bandicoot 3, WWF War Zone (I still enjoy it haha), Grim Fandango, Baldur's Gate, Thief, Banjo-Kazooie, Xenogears.... do I need to continue? lol

The greatest wcw game of all time
If there was ever a piece of video game music that encapsulates 90's wrestling games, this is it.
I get kinda emotional when I hear this music, I reminds me of a bygone time that will never come back, my childhood that seems a lifetime ago, and more importantly a time when wrestling was fun and the attitude era was in full swing and the Monday night wars dominated wrestling news. Ah the good ol days :(

This is my favorite song from any wrestling game.

I still remember getting this on Christmas day 98', playing it nonstop, then two days later watching Kevin Nash beat Goldberg at Starrcade. This is my favorite tune from the game, because it reminds me of trying to recreate that ppv match repeatedly.
