Andrew, it's great to see the LS swapped 350Z back in action!! Hopefully you'll figure out what's the problem with the overheating and continue shredding more tires!
@@SalvagetoSavage Get yourself a pair of 12 inch Spal fans and that will take care of it. It's what I did on my swap and I haven't had that problem since. Good luck!
You should check out the 350z exhaust and dyno episodes! Andrew touches a bit on the history he has with drifting this car. Even before he LS swapped it!
I’m pretty sure I want to be that guy’s friend. And Andrew is one helluva wheel man! Seems like a rare combination of someone who knows everything about how the car is built, how it works, and can drive it like it’s an extension of his body.
All of your videos I have watched, this is the only one I don't care for. I just don't like drifting. You guys are still killing it with everything you do. I will wait patiently for your next video.
Andrew, my guess is that the water pump in the Zed is suffering from cavitation at high rpm. The solution is to slow the pump down or use an external electric pump that has volume rather than pressure.
We're also thinking it might be that the fans are just way too small and underpowered. We'll keep that in mind though when we start trouble shooting the issue a bit more!
The car is pretty much dialed in for the track, the only issue is the clutch. Andrew had to keep it in second gear all the way around a 3rd/4th gear track because the clutch wouldn't hold shifting out of second.
You guys are so lucky living in the US of A... If that was here in Germany, the flying squad would be banging on your door after 2 min. OK, we can go ape shit on the Autobahn but some big muscle just F..ng around is not happening. 😢😭 Andrew, don`t forget. You guys build that..Nice driving your Dudeski..
Awesome stuff! But one advice: remember rule #1 of any video production ("audio is king!"). So for all cameras I'd recommend a shotgun mic. These microphone pic up sound in front of the camera and mostly suppress backround noise and echoes... ✌️
Hello guys, I love this videos and all the other, keep going and keep getting better Maybe it angle kit it would perform better and help with the control of the vehicle ?? Any away keep going and keep the good work, I will definitely keep watching
The main issue he's having with controlling the car right now all really comes down to the fact that he's having to run the whole track in second gear as opposed to being able to shift into third. We should be able to get a new clutch soon. Then Andrew'll be able to show you how much skill he has behind the wheel!
What rear end is in the Z. and the over heating could be something dumb, thermosat sticking if its in there, brand new water pump not working or you some how got a glove in your radiator :) lol yup and ive had the radiator was 1/8 inch higher then the housing on the engine and always had air in it and would over heat, because the motor sat so low.. took forever to figure it out
There could be some aeration in the cooling system, but we're thinking more likely the fans are just underpowered for the temps that we were seeing out at Fuel Fest!
Hate to be a dick but..... maybe you guys should create another channel for all these fillers videos. There is a ton of car build channels on YT, and they all probably start out with great intentions, but sadly most ending up with crappy filler videos with about 3-4 minutes of actual content. I don't subscribe to any of these channels anymore except for S2S but honestly I'm not that interested in 20 minute burnout videos or watching you scan a car for another 20 minutes. I've said this before and I'll say it again. I'd prefer fewer, higher quality videos. I know the push is to create new content weekly, I get it, but it's the same thing that destroyed channels like Goonzquad, Vtuned, etc (that and crappy ass work). You guys are craftsmen. You're artists with metal and paint. Mikey, this stuff is beneath you. Your last paragraph in the description kinda captures the whole issue in a nutshell. Ton's of long unfinished projects sitting around and you guys "promising" updates every week. When you build something...publish it.
Our RUclips Channel is a completely free platform. We don't charge you to watch the videos, we don't make you pay subscriptions to see our content. The reason you like our videos so much is because we pack days if not weeks worth of work into an episode. We are a working shop. 90% of the cars you see on the channel are customer builds, so if a customer wants us to slow down the work we're doing, then you won't see the build on the channel. It's not quick process creating our build content, nor is it cheap to produce, but we still consistently put them out every week at no cost to you.
this scene and events like fuel fest are the reason we do what we do every other day of the year. sorry this 1 particular episode is wasn’t for you… but after a monster build like 6deuce a play day was needed for everyone.
@@netteriv it is but maybe it should be on a different channel. Stick to the theme. Super cool, creative, fabrication work. That’s what drew me to this channel.
@@bradkraus5217 they're still making the same videos regardless, can just skip the filler ones if necessary. I think it's a little annoying when more and more youtube channels are split for specific content, but that's just my opinion
@@SalvagetoSavage Lets not be Naïve here. I know you don't "charge" me for the content. I also understand the YT monetization programs, so yes your subscribers continued support (viewership) is vital to those programs. I also know that it's those programs that put YT Content Creators in this position in the first place. That's how good car build channels end up trying to sell you their Hot Sauce in their "build" videos. I love the work that you guys do, it's what drew me in to begin with, but unlike TV this format lets me interact directly with the creators. I'm just being honest with you from my perspective. It ends up being a little like bait and switch. I check in every Wednesday to see you guys make metal magic. Imagine my surprise when instead of metal mayhem I see burnouts. Nothing against burnouts but there are a lot places on YT to go for that and it isn't the first time you have a "burnout" video. Car builds are hard and the time scales are crazy long. Customers can be difficult and the financial risks are substantial. I appreciate the work that you do and while you don't "charge" me for the videos, I do give you my time. I've told you guys before that I've actually rescheduled meetings so I could watch one of your videos!
Hell yea! Good shit dude. Looked like a lot of fun
It was definitely a blast! They have them going on all around the country!
Track day Awesome guys thankyou
Glad you liked it!!
Been waiting for 350z content! Let’s go. 🔥
Hope you enjoyed it!

Nice job Drew!
He really made us proud out there!
Very cool! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for checking out the video!
I'd love to be a member of Shift Culture. Andrew's 350 seems to be an awesome tire shredder!
Those guys are awesome! And a new clutch and Andrew's car will be ready to take on some more competition!
This was freaking awesome guys. I didn't know you could drift! Bad ass guys. Loved the video.

Just awesome guys well done....love from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺

On last lap you catch your wave. Need more power and/or lower gear ratios imho. Nice rides. Keep on. Good luck!!!

Man miss the days of sliding around my s12 or my boosted s14.
Andrew makes everyone here want to start drifting!
Looks nice....I'd definitely be interested in seeing this hit the market
What's the plan for the 'Stang in the background? That is ripe and ready for activities!
That one is just a motor rebuild. nothing too crazy happening to it in our shop!
