That’s so interesting to see how its like “a giant hexagon thing” that folds into a sleeve. A lot goes into clothes making, that we never think about. Like, what does the inside of your sleeve look like. I love the hexagons ❤

It's a hexagon cardigan and there are loads of patterns and vids online if you google that. You can basically make them in any size, from baby to adult, so very versatile :) Drapey yarn usually works best, depending on goal.

IT DID cost $600 to make!
The labor alone should have earned her that amount for the hours she put in on the design and construction of this very cool shirt... the cost of the yarn would have been negligible. The value and the expense of a one-of-a-kind item like this is in its creation and the man-hours (or in this case: the WOMAN-HOURS!) that it took to produce it.
And he PAID you for your services! Coming from another artist who stopped doing commissions because of repeatedly being asked for a friends and family discount, That’s a true friend ❤ lol

That is so nice. Open crocheting for almost 60 years and I have never seen crocheted clothing look that good before. The thing is about crocheting is there is no machinery or technology involved. It’s all done by hand. Why didn’t anyone create something this gorgeous 60 years ago? The stitches haven’t changed but no one came up with this or other amazing designs until more recently.

There’s literally nothing wrong with cursing especially since she’s not in a formal setting like at work or something. Even then it would be fine depending on her job.
ALSO it did not cost her $600 to crochet her version of the shirt!!! She literally explains this in the video but I’ll explain it again.
Her friend really wanted this shirt from a designer brand, but the price for it was $600 if they were to purchase it from the brand.
She decided she could make the same exact thing for far cheaper herself.
So she made a copy of the designer shirt for her friend so he didn’t have to spend 600 dollars to buy it from the designer.
I’m guessing she maybe spent $20-$30 dollars MAXIMUM making this since she uses quality yarn.

You realize the time she works on it should contribute as well? If you calculate 20-30 hours (on the fast end), it’s already 300-450 bucks.
Yes, the original was 600, but hers shouldn’t be that much cheaper. She literally made her friend a huge gift.
