Watched him against Brive. Was just struck by how massive he looked compared to other players. He looked twice as wide, and deceptively agile as well! Really don't know why Pivac failed to pick him. Let's hope Gats sees the light.

Also here from watching him against Brive. A different match, but he was still ostentatiously chunkier than anyone else, and weirdly agile.

really feel that if wales invest more time into rhys carre and leon brown, they could really prove to be a menacing combination! wales have been missing those dynamic front row ball carries for quite some time!

Crazy how he hasn’t been involved in recent squads - big future for Wales this lad

Pivac was a very biased coach who picked mainly unformed scarlet players

Looking forward to see what Gatland can do with Carre and Lake leading up to the next World Cup. Wales aren’t blessed with many good ball carriers, but both of these guys run like Oxen.
With Christ Tshiunza and Jack Morgan knocking around ironically Gatland may have his most powerful and dynamic pack ever as Welsh coach.
All of them are youngsters, with Carre the eldest at 24.

Powerful and handy with a ball. A Big asset for Wales. I would not mind having him in my team.

I think Gats will have him back in the side for the 6N

He's big but his main advantage is that he is pure athlete. Every muscle and sinew seems to be on call to get the job done.

I was wondering why at that level they hope to stop such bulldozer launched at full speed by tackling him high. Yall have any idea ? 0:06

Probably too scared to get near the heavy machinery (his hips/knees) and get concussed
