Don't listen to any of the negatives... If the lyric stuff up hadn't been brought to our attention by Kyle I really wonder how many people would even have picked it up at all. Everybody likes to make themselves out to be the all knowing lyric expersts, but they wouldn't be without Google. Many a top star have "created" lyrics at live performances....including the likes of Billy Joel. Not to worry Altiyan, you are a star!! Great Performance!! I should say, great PERFORMANCES.....all of them!!!!
Altiyan should be the lead singer for INXS. I think it would be excellent for both the band, and Altiyan. Altiyan is a great singer and showman, but I think he is much better when he is with a band, than as a soloist. Not just for his singing and performance, but also for encouragement. Also, INXS would benefit, because frankly, since Michael Hutchence's death, the band has failed to find a great frontman to replace him. Altiyan could be the man they need.
Garry Beers lives in LA with family and without him on bass unfortunately KIrk Pengily is the only non- Farris remaining. After so many brilliant and consistent years with the same 6 members, they've been drifting since Michael's death, producing just 1 new album with new tracks with Switch. I love INXS but for Altiyan's sake the worst thing he could do for himself is to become their lead singer. Altiyan has much more to offer than to sing in Michael's shadow. That's why Jon Stevens left.
No JD Fortune and No Garry Garry Beers makes this a lukewarm INXS performance. If you're going to sing with a world-class band like INXS, get the lyrics straight! I wouldn't pay money to see this configuration....what are the boys thinking? JD's gonna show 'em how it's done!! Can't wait to see them tour with JD and Garry again! Listen to their new Original Sin CD.
