he’s alive because of John Chapman’s bravery and his acts . A true hero with balls of steel . He took 16 shots , grenade shrapnel , and he continued fighting to save his team and others . He fought till the last of his ammunition and it finally took a bullet to the heart for him to go down . That is a true warrior , Rest In Peace John Chapman
The marines lied about this for years and this guy is definitely lying about some aspects of the battle. Particularly the taking of the first bunker by Chapman and secondly the claim that he checked on Chapman before he retreated. It’s all captured on drone footage.
John A. Chapman, in my opinion, is the only man who was worthy of being awarded the Medal of Honor that day. After being abandoned by the SEALs he was attached to, and being denied the Medal of Honor for such an extended period of time, I simply find the fact that Slabinski somehow earns the credit for Chapman's actions atop that mountain to be highly disrespectful, and greatly saddening.
To be fair this man was the only one behind Chapman ..ppl discredit him but he was right behind John the other members were still down by the helicopter there was two guys running up that hill
That would be true is that was the only factor at play. The problem people have with this is that they acted originally like Chapman was robin to his Batman bs the other way around. Further, the seals went to the DOD and tried to block Chapman from getting the medal not take away his shine. The medal is supposed to be for efforts above beyond. His part although brave wasn’t worthy of this. His and the other seals actions post only support that.
Just to let yall know, techsgt. John a Chapman, regained consciousness and the whole time britt was on the side of the mountain johns fighting hand to hand and saving 23 soldiers lives, its literally been recorded on video from the air I encouraged everyone to watch it, the ac130 gunship was firing on the bunker while a very conscious John Chapman was inside the bunker fighting with Mujahideen the entire time, to this day Noone knows why he was able to awaken after taking two rounds to the stomach and he fought off three times that he was charged by the taliban and all three times succeeded until he left the security of the bunker to draw fire away from the ranger helicopter that was flaring to land. Chapman is the man. God rest his soul, he deserves it.
First time I’ve given a thumbs down. MSgt Chapman was awarded TWO (2) CMOHs, saving the lives of this seal team, the QRF and aviators. If this guy has any soul left, he should knock on the Chapman family door and turn over his CMOH and apologize to the Chapman family. A retired USAF MSgt.
This is not accurate. John Chapman USAF secured that 1st bunker while this cat was a good ways behind him. He never got up to or passed John in the fight . After the machine gunner goes down the SEALs bail .leaving John Chapman to fight on his own . John Chapman saved these SEALS by taking out that bunker.
anthony lewis first time ever another service (Navy) tried to stop the MOH being given to another service (Air Force) there is no excuse and shows poor!!
@@robertvaughan3753 I used to enjoy learning about the SEALs but the more I look the more I see thugs who are more akin to a mafia or gang rather than a military unit . It sucks because there's alot of good dudes in all the spec ops that get ropped in with guys like this.
Anyone else notice that an USAF Combat Controller had more guts than the entire SEAL squad? Everyone dumps on the USAF, but I think video of TSgt. Chapman speaks for itself.
Oh so now because of John Chapman's sacrifice The usaf is more brave, less selfish, more intelligent, wiser battle field tactics. Yep ur right little fella. And you are special too.
Ive had ccts attached to my platoons from AFSOC special tactics and they were ALWAYS the most solid. Sometimes they were a little smug. But always brave and solid as fuck.

Prior Marine here and after seeing the footage of the event, John Chapman is the HERO of this mans story. In fact, he probably wouldn't even be alive today if it weren't for Chapman.
It takes a special kind of POS to steal another mans actions. You may be a SEAL, but an Airman took that bunker. Lies! RIP TSgt Chapman. The real MOH recipient of this battle
The Navy doesn't hand out ribbons. People are nominated. The vetting process typically involves those on the scene. I can't watch that footage without getting chills down my spine. Those opposing forces smelled blood. They tasted lead.
Yep. Watched the drone footage several times the other day. This guys team was pinned down and taking casualties before they get into the fight at all. Chapman was awarded a second MOH for saving this guys ass.
Don't let this distract you from the fact that John Chapman was left for dead by the SEALs and had to fight and die all alone on that mountain. RIP warrior
Right! The SEALs assumed he was dead and made no effort to help him. I was a paratrooper, but even "leg" infantry know that you don't make that assumption. You do everything possible to help your men. Look at SFOD Delta at Mogadishu. Nobody was abandoned. The Delta operators were heroes there.
he received this MOH in the Navy's attempt to cover up there actions that day, with 3 helicopters damaged and 7 people killed not to mention them leaving Chapman on that mountain, in a mission they tried to take over from delta to grab the glory.
DELTA were executing missions with no issues. Until the JV Squad(DEVGRU) swooped in and tried to steal some glory for themselves. Got a lot of people killed over their selfish actions
What a team guy. Count how many times he said “I” and “my”. RIP John Chapman, a true warrior. I wasn’t there and this guy is still a hero and a true warrior.

Im not saying the SEALS arent amazing but they do attract that type of people. With how many books and movies there are about the seals its seen as sexy or cool attracting creeps like this. If you listen to the JRE podcast he had a seal on who recounted that the guy who performed the best during evolutions was arrested with his girlfriend for murder and said that theres all kinds in the SEALS good and bad
His rendition of the story does not match the video. He never mentions that Chapman took the lead or acknowledged that Chapman was the real hero here. He also says he check Chapman for signs of life. That means he was dead. He wasn’t..I also noticed in the video that he left Chapman for dead and didn’t bother recovering Chapman’s body or Roberts body as he stepped over them. The video doesn’t lie. It’s clear what really happened here.
Brian, I saw the same thing you described being given as the reason this person lost his job at the SEALs and was later forbidden from visiting his original base, even.
@@glassfireactual9207 Chapman put himself in danger in an attempt to reach Roberts in the shortest amount of time possible. Even worse than leaving a brother behind, is taking credit for what he did and then fighting AGAINST those who sought to get Chapman's medal upgraded to the MoH.

Chapman was more keen to save the seal that fell out of the chopper than the other seals including this one. These seals should get a medal for cowardice if anything.
The Rangers 24 year old Captain deserved an MOH far more than the SEAL. 7 SEALs + Chapman were on that mountain and 6 SEALS fled leaving 2 of their own behind. The Rangers çrash landed and only 6 Rangers plus a CCT emerged to fight. They fought for hours and managed to defeat the insurgents, take the hill and recover Chapman and the dead SEALS bodies. Six experienced "Tier 1" SEALS ran whilst six 18 to 24 year old Rangers fought their hearts out.
I watched that award footage too after learning about Chapman. Cant believe some idiots say Trump is not presidential because clearly he is when needed.
@@TheCultureCommentary Trump barely has anything to do with the MOH awards. He’s just the final signature and the presenter. Like any other president before him.
Read "Alone at Dawn" by Dan Shilling and John's Sister Lori Chapman Longfritz (comes out in June) Thank the Lord for the Predator video that showed John Chapman was alive and after the SEAL's "relocated" he single handedly fought on alone... I've read the book and have watched the Predator video.. 22 years in the military 2 tours in Iraqi Freedom... I'm comfortable with what I have seen in the video. Chapman.. after being left behind by his team mates.... regained conciseness and knocked out the first bunker solo then continued the battle after his rifle was rendered INOP by machine gun fire... he then resorted to his pistol attacking Al Qiada positions. WITH A PISTOL!!!! Predator video shows that he killed the last fighter with his bare hands. Chapman was still alive when the QRF Razor landed.. it was only after The Rangers established a hasty make shift security perimeter Chappy took out the RPG who was engaging the QRF..... TSG Chapman was then hit with small arms fire and killed..... Dont believe me.. Dont take my word.. watch the Predator video and educate yourself. You will be disgusted when you learn of the underhanded attempts the Navy did to suppress this story.. and TSG Chapman's Medal Of Honor award... Lucky the predator video saw the light of day and the FOG of war is made a little more clear... All were heroes that day.. "Slab" tells his truth.. then there is the REAL truth. Dont listen to me.... again.. google it watch the predator video and read Alone at Dawn when it hits the book shelves in June...
I agree with pretty much all you say apart from the pistol part, well according to Alone at Dawn... Page 255, “He was now going through ammunition at an alarming pace. Of the seven thirty-round magazines he started with, he was down to only a couple. And unlike the SEALs, he had no pistol secondary.” But everything else you mention is spot on. I was just curious where you got the pistol info from as I’m currently on the last few pages of the aftermath chapter. Totally deserving of the MOH. Can’t believe his condition wasn’t thoroughly checked before ST6 decided to retreat. Sad
You hit it right on the money. This guy is a liar. He probably believes his own lie at this point. Definitely did not deserve the medal of honor. Chapman should have gotten both.
After watching every video about Roberts Ridge and John Chapman's incredible fight to save this guy and 23 others. It is very clear that the competition between forces (Navy vs USAF). John was not saved or even watched by his team leader. If you watch the Chapman video it also shows Britt staying way back and did not do anything that relates to a Medal OF Honor. Yes he was brave and is a Hero for fighting. Brtt Slabinski looks like he was given a medal as a way to make everyone happy. They did not know about everything John Chapman had done as the film had to be fixed up over the years so you could tell what was really going on. Britt seems to tell a different story and does not give John Chapman any credit. This guy followed John for 10-20 meters but did not do anything that was as incredible as John's story. I never saw any grenades thrown by him in the clip. He moves his men to another spot so an AC-30 Gun ship could fire on the mountain top. He never says another word about John Chapman or the fact that they left him up on the mountain (John was from the USAF not the Navy Seals) Watch the video about FIRST MEDAL OF HONOR EVER CAUGHT ON FILM to watch the bravest man on the planet give his life for his brothers. A movie is being made about John (He was from Connecticut where I lived) My biggest question is why did they get the body of Roberts and not John Chapman's.
Cuz the SEALS are glory hog assholes, cocky bastards. Look at Michael mansoor, a SEAL who jumped on a grenade and saved 2 guys, if he was a marine or in army he wouldn't have received the medal of honor to jump on a grenade its bullshit.

You listen to any other of these stories told by SEALS, none of them try and take any credit and always credit their team. This guy, I don't know, seems to make this more about him, not a single word about how Chapman plowed forward towards the enemy without thinking about his own life. Just something about his demeanor, the way he talks, his mannerisms, makes me think he knows that what he's telling us the whole truth.
Because he left John Chapman, then the Navy fought this for almost 20 years and tried to cove this up. This dude is a liar, coward and should not been awarded the same award as John Chapman.
You left a team mate on that mountain, Slab! And then you and your Navy cronies did your best to quash Chappies valid MOH award. I was a 20 year PJ and lost warriors on that mountain and during that mission.
There is a video of the entire incident recorded from a predator drone. This guy is lieing. It was the combat controller John Chapman who stormed the first bunker.
Please remember that none of us were there and we don't understand the immense pressure on Slabinski as a leader in Seal Team Six. Also, try to take-in the gravity of the situation. Slabinski was putting his life and the lives of his men on the line to rescue Neil Roberts, he didn't have to do that. Also, Slabinski was fighting with little oxygen at 10k feet, crawling through 3 ft. of snow, in total darkness with older night vision, after barely surviving not 1 but 2 helicopter crashes. They were crawling through the enemy's heavy machine gun fire coming from at least 2 different directions in addition to small arms fire coming from another 2 directions and it's all happening at lighting speed. I'd like to see any of you do better! Many of you are not understanding, that in this story, Slabinski skips the account of the 1st bunker, possibly because he's NOT authorized to talk about it. Thus, Slabinski is recounting the assault of the 2nd bunker from the boulder which was behind the 1st bunker that John Chapman had already assaulted in his selfless heroism. Then after 2 members of the seal team were wounded in the legs, Slabinski decides to consolidate the team downhill away from incoming fire. Remember, he is a team leader who is responsible for the lives of those wounded men. In Slabinski's defense, he was in bunker 1 when John was shot twice, he thought John was dead and the drone footage is cut when the wounded team is relocating, it DOES look like Slab, in fact, crawls back through bunker 1 just as he said! His plan was not to retreat but to get off the X so he could call in close air support. John Chapman is a brave hero but he also charged the bunker after having been told by Slabinski to stay with him right before they got off the helicopter. In the end, it was the right thing to do but it could have added to the confusion because now a team member was crossing into friendly fire. I think people are too quick to judge with only partial information. War is hell and it is very difficult to make perfect decisions under multiple sources of extreme physical, mental and emotional pressure. All of these brave men did the right thing trying to rescue Neil Roberts and each other and all of these REAL men are true American heroes. Please show some respect in your comments!
@@not1just4words fighting with little oxygen? Are you kidding me? I'm regularly at 10 to 12k and it's not a debilitating altitude. So don't even use that as an excuse for any poor judgement.
I don't know everything about the battle of Robert's Ridge but I've done a lot of research. I've seen every video regarding this battle and I've read Alone at Dawn and The Mission, the Men and Me and 2 other books about these brave heros. Slabinski is not lying, he is just not authorized to talk about certain things that happen at bunker #1. He threw the grenades and shot the 203 at bunker #2. Bunker number #1 was reinforced with logs but bunker #2 was only a tent under a tree behind bunker #1. Slab just says "the bunker" in his story and people assume he's lying because they think he's talking about bunker #1. Slab skips certain parts between John's assault on Bunker #1 and then the transition to the boulder. The drone footage is cut as well because something else happened that we are not being told. John defeated bunker #1 solo then they assaulted bunker #2 together with Slabinski. Slabinski was standing right next to John Chapman when John was shot twice in the chest. John was unconscious and Slab thought he was dead. The cia predator drone footage cuts while Slab is still in bunker #1 and resumes on the boulder. The drone footage does NOT show John being shot OR Slab's move from bunker #1 to the boulder, watch the drone footage again. Then after 2 of Slab's men are wounded in the legs, he does not retreat but gets off the x to call in close air support. People shouldn't be so quick to judge without all the facts. Please be careful what you say about a true hero and think twice before slandering his character. You are making the same mistake as the TF-11 command who assumed control of the battle based on the limited drone footage instead of trusting Delta Pete Blader and the other CCTs on near by mountain tops for actual battlefield intel. Also, realize that this video is being presented by the Navy's RUclips channel who edited by the Navy, they may have cut out certain details he shared. Slabinski is not the bad guy. He was following orders and is a true hero for risking his life and the life of his men to try to recover Neil Robert's. If you want to blame someone, then blame "Vic" who pushed for the summit landing when Slabinski asked to postpone the mission 24 hours. Or you could blame the TF-11 seal command at Bagram who switched frequencies in order to exclude Jimmy and Pete Blader from communications as they took over Delta's two month old operation. Blader was ordering a Spectre gun run against the 24 know Chechnian and Uzbeks that were entrenched at the summit of Takr Gahr prior to the mission. The TF-11 command canceled the ac-130h and none of that was communicated back to Slabinski's team. Read the books.
I served in the military for 6 years, all during a time of no conflict. I never had to worry about if I'd ever see my loved ones again. Every man on that mountain are heroes, because they courageously faced and fought an enemy, well-knowing they'd probably not make it out alive. Regardless of some comments on here about who the real hero is, or the criticisms of how this man handled the situation, very few can actually say they've been in that situation themselves. But to our phenomenal men and women who put themselves in the situation, because it was their duty to, and either come home wounded and broken, or didn't come home at all, remember they are all courageous and all heroes. I can only imagine in the heat of battle and fear, fire, and absolute chaos, having to make split-second decisions....my gracious, the immense pressure that is put on the leaders of these teams. Whether MCPO Slabinski handled this the way you think he should have, thank God men came off that mountain alive at all. What a tremendous burden to bear. It's easy to miss what he says at the beginning; "Through a series of changes to the mission, we wound up landing on top of the mountain." That was the horrifically bad decision which led to the needless deaths of good men. The complete story was told in the book, "Not a Good Day to Die" by Sean Naylor, a journalist and author who was embedded with Task Force Dagger. The SEALs' plan was to land on the only viable LZ on that side of the mountain. Because it was so obvious, the Taliban had surrounded it with bunkers and fighting positions for mortars, heavy machine guns, and RPGs. The Army unit whose operation they were supporting had detailed intelligence about it, but SEAL teams (much less DEVGRU) don't feel the need to talk to conventional units. However, their JSOC LNO did, and tried to warn them, but was ignored. Not only did Roberts and Chapman die because of the SEALs' typically poor mission planning, but an Army quick reaction force was rerouted to save Roberts, and unwitting tried to land IN THE SAME KILL ZONE! The helicopter was immediately hit and disabled, and several soldiers died before even having the chance to get to cover. Less than a year later, another poorly planned and executed SEAL mission would lead to the largest single loss of life (22 dead) in the history of US Special Operations Command. This time, the entire rescue force was killed, along with the helicopter crew. Again, the SEALs managed to turn a horrible fuck up into an epic story of bravery. Maybe you've seen the movie. It's called "Lone Survivor".

I guess it's easy to take credit from a dead AF Chapman. Oh wait, video of the incident shows TSgt Chapman took out the bunker and was way up front. Shame Scott, shame!
My cousin was on the helo with the quick reaction force Rangers. His copter was shot down on the mountain. He received a silver star for the fight that happened afterwards. He's now a green beret. A couple Rangers and Air Force combat controller were killed.
I like how the Navy doesnt mention how he got kicked out of commanding Seal Team 6 after it came out in 2007 he ordered beheading of enemies. He spoke to the NY Times and denied giving that order. Seals revolted and voted against him commanding a squadron and was given a desk job. They voted him out not for giving out the order to behead people but for speaking publically and denying it.
Their all brave men but don't believe the B's, the government still does propaganda like every other war, some of us die and some live to tell their story
Because Navy, especially SEAL Team 6, was embarrassed that their team abandoned Chapman on the mountain. If they were to admit the now proven rendition of the events that let to John Chapman's and Neil Roberts deaths were true then they would have to admit to: 1. The SEAL command was so desperate to get into the fight the commander (Szymanski) sent in two teams that were ill prepared and ill equipt for the battle. So as they were inserting to set up recon positions they didn't listen to the Army who advised Takur Ghar was swarming with enemy. The helicopter they tried to insert with was hit with an RPG causing Roberts to fall out. He survived, but was killed almost immediately in a firefight. That's when they reorganized and went back to recover Roberts, and were shot down again leading to the battle he is talking about. So, the SEALS went in when they weren't prepared, tried to save a downed comrade, had to be saved when they got shot up (no body armor), then called for help and the team that went to save them was shot up and sustained several casualties. All because Captain Szymanski wanted HIS SEALS to get into the fight. 2. The SEAL team, led by Slabinski abandoned Roberts and Chapman on the mountain without checking if Chapman was dead. 3. While Chapman fought to his last the SEAL team retreated and called in air support. 4. The SEAL team members would initially give statements that supported the official rendition of events, but several years later they refused to sign their statements and began bad-mouthing Chapman as being reckless. 5. Now Rear Admiral Szymanski actively tried to deny Chapman's Medal of Honor award. 6. The Navy rushed Slabinski in for a Medal of Honor even though you can see his statement, when compared to the statements of other witness and the predator drone video, contains many "inaccuracies". 7. The Navy SEALs are so invested in presenting themselves as the ultimate warriors they are willing to deny the truth and crap on a dead hero to protect their reputations.
Its because of Coward two faced lying Polish/American Seals. And military politics. If they gave Chapman the MOH at first. IT justifies that the SEALS Left Chapman for dead. If it was justified that they left Chapman, That would make the whole SEAL's reputation go down to the crappers. So what they did was blocked the MOH for Chapman from the Airforce. Which is something new. Since when did a Navy Branch try to Block a medal from another Branch? First time this happened. And instead give the MOH to this lying scumbag Slabinski. And see how their name have similarities? The guy who blocked the MOH for Chapman : Syzmanski The guy who lied to his tooth for the MOH : Slabinski SKI SKI SKI SKI lying polish scumbags.
Sometimes things dont go as planned but men with grit and hard training persevere overcome stay on task. God bless our seals. God bless all our military personel that risk it all. Thank you sir for your heroic service
Guys don't dog this brave hero who went right into the kill zone. Don't judge the man unless you know how it feels to be outnumbered and surrounded by the enemy and in a gun battle.
The one thing that stands out in the testimony of each of the Medal of Honor recipients I have watched is the humility they display. Courage, honor and humility are the true hallmarks of these men, everything else that occurs is a result of this mindset. God bless them all and may God bless America.
I have mad respect for SEALs, but honestly I cannot believe Slabinsky won a medal of honor for this event. Air Force combat controller John Chapman was the hero by far of this event. He single-handedly assaulted two bunkers and accounted for something like 16 KIA. Slabinsky and his SEAL team left Chapman alive and bleeding in a bunker. After they left he regained consciousness and continued the battle on his own, saving the lives of 18 men who came in on a quick reaction force. I had no idea Slabinsky won the medal of honor and I’m stunned to hear it.
Everyone needs to go see the drone footage. John Chapman lead they way on the hilltop that day.. Slab left him and then call fire on the hill he left John on.
I'm glad to have been in attendance and witnessed the ceremonies for his award, and I want to make it known that he said personally, that he could not have done anything without his team and that he didn't wear the Medal for himself and what he did but for what his team did and didn't get recognized for.
Master Chief, I am very proud to see you receive the Medal of Honor. I read about this moment in time in Robert O'Neill's book, The Operator. I am saddened for the loss of 1 SEAL (Roberts), 1 Air Force Combat Controller (Chapman), 1 Air Force PJ (Jason Cunningham), 3 Army Rangers (Matt Commons, Bradley Crose, Marc Anderson) 1 Army Airborne (Phillip Svitak). I am very proud of Sgt. Chapman. Very proud of all the men on Robert's Ridge. Thank you for your service, Sir. Thank you for answering the call, being determined and committed to excellence, becoming a fighting Navy SEAL. Thank you, Britt.
Thank you, Doc. Thank you for all you've done for this country and your brothers-in-arms. The amount of respect and admiration I have for you guys is immeasurable. Happy Veteran's Day, as well.
I was honored to meet and shake the hand of Master Chief Slabinski today, Memorial Day, in Blaine, Minnesota. He continues to inspire and serve with a wonderful message on the oaths we take.
Bob Loblaw yes please let’s compare a smaller unit of seals to a platoon of rangers. Don’t get me wrong man rangers are badass they are by far my favorite unity throughout the whole military hell I even signed an option 40 contract myself to become one but simple facts are that the rangers came in force as where the seals where way underprepared as always
You left Msgt Chapman . He was the one who stayed and fought his way uphill to the bunkers with you behind him . Wounded you left him he recovered and continued to fight to cover the 2nd crashed bird he suffered mutiple gunshot wounds and the seals retreated. The Navy covered it up and tried to downplay his role give Msgt Chapman a minor award and nominated you for Medal of Honor. For what dragging a wounded seal down hill and leaving Msgt to fight and take bunkers by himself.
I noticed he speaks in present-tense the entire time, which is crazy. He was reliving it all. He says “So I use my 40 mm grenade launcher that I have” and “so now I take my m60 gunner and I take him and put him on that rock…” like he’s mentally right there.
Unfortunately Slabinski failed to aid his brother in arms , John Chapman, who is believed to have fought on , alone for close to one hour, dying just before the last helicopter came in. Chapman's body was in the bunker, and Robert's body was outside, so it is possible Slabinski mistook the body he saw for Chapman.
Compare MoH recipient Sal Guinta's citation to Slabinski's. Guinta outnumbered and outgunned by a Taliban ambush notices one man is missing. Fights through the ambush to save Brennan who was being carried off by the Taliban. Unfortunately Brennan was dead, but still retrieved by Guinta. Cause, action, and outcome. Not taking anything away from Slabinski, but he broke some cardinal rules as a leader. The real problem lies within the Navy and SEAL command for 1. Arrogance in thinking their enemy is less superior. 2. Not willing to fight as one team. They are known not to care about interservice attachments. 3. Navy and SEAL command trying to block Chapman's nomination.
Slab was given the worst possible no win scenario. Leadership failed him, radios failed, miscommunications. It's a case of two different scenarios from two different vantage points. Both Slab and Chapman earned the right to be given the the MoH. Neil Roberts ... all I can say is Neil was in real trouble and AQ are demons from hell.

This guy, I don't know, seems to make this more about him, not a single word about how Chapman plowed forward towards the enemy without thinking about his own life. Just something about his demeanor, the way he talks, his mannerisms, makes me think he knows that what he's telling us the whole truth.
Facts
I noticed this too! He talks about his inner emotions and thoughts and shit. Real MOH recipients mostly talk about their boys, that they lost.
Agreed
Well I mean this is supposed to be a story about his actions...
Because he left John Chapman, then the Navy fought this for almost 20 years and tried to cove this up. This dude is a liar, coward and should not been awarded the same award as John Chapman.
That medal does not belong to the Navy. It belongs to John Chapman alone. And, they all know it.
You left a team mate on that mountain, Slab! And then you and your Navy cronies did your best to quash Chappies valid MOH award. I was a 20 year PJ and lost warriors on that mountain and during that mission.
Slabinski's story does not coincide with the actual video of John Chapman. But this was filmed before anyone ever saw that video.
Which means this video and the medal should be removed and is man should be charged with fraud along with the officers who pushed this bullshit
There is a video of the entire incident recorded from a predator drone. This guy is lieing. It was the combat controller John Chapman who stormed the first bunker.
Ryan H humiliating and a fool. He didn’t realize this operation was being recorded....
Ryan H no there isnt. The video is cut so many times and picks back up with everyone in different positions.
I salute this Master Chief, and all his men, and all who go up there and do that, so that you and I can keep enjoying our lives and freedom here at home.

This guy calls himself a SEAL. From the flur his story has no merit. You don’t need to be a topper chief. Chappy was the real hero here. He did his brothers proud. ROMAD for life.
There is a blog post out there by a Marine officer detailing how sending in SEALs for the Operation Red Wings was not the right call and a Marine Platoon would have been much better suited. He goes on to essentially shit on SEALs
@@bnuggg think that's by that Ed guy-- the journalist who embedded with 2/3. @OP I think you misunderstood a lot of what you read. Seals revolted and voted against him commanding a squadron and was given a desk job. They voted him out not for giving out the order to behead people but for speaking publically and denying it.
Sounds a lot like Jocko... when you can't lead you teach. Sobel style
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE ! REAL HEROES.... NOT IN NFL,NBA,NHL.. REAL MEN STAND !
Honest question.
Why is Chapman being thrown under the bus?
Because AFSOC personnel are always unspoken and SEALs get any and all face time whether deserved or not (this case, not)
Their all brave men but don't believe the B's, the government still does propaganda like every other war, some of us die and some live to tell their story
Because Navy, especially SEAL Team 6, was embarrassed that their team abandoned Chapman on the mountain. If they were to admit the now proven rendition of the events that let to John Chapman's and Neil Roberts deaths were true then they would have to admit to:

The guy who lied to his tooth for the MOH : Slabinski

I have mad respect for SEALs, but honestly I cannot believe Slabinsky won a medal of honor for this event. Air Force combat controller John Chapman was the hero by far of this event. He single-handedly assaulted two bunkers and accounted for something like 16 KIA. Slabinsky and his SEAL team left Chapman alive and bleeding in a bunker. After they left he regained consciousness and continued the battle on his own, saving the lives of 18 men who came in on a quick reaction force. I had no idea Slabinsky won the medal of honor and I’m stunned to hear it.

Here's mine, RIP to all the heros.
@@jasholden9741 Definitely, Chapy was a great man
I was honored to meet and shake the hand of Master Chief Slabinski today, Memorial Day, in Blaine, Minnesota. He continues to inspire and serve with a wonderful message on the oaths we take.
>gives order to “save” teammate
>leaves original teammate as well as an additional living teammate to save self
>gets Medal of Honor
lmao
and Chapman wasn't even a SEAL.
@@The_Gallowglass CC of the AF are badass MF’s!
So, long story short, the RANGERS did that night what the SEAL's couldn't. They secured the mountain. That's hardcore. New respect for 2/75!
Bob, you’re a moron who lacks both class and integrity.
Neil Roberts ... all I can say is Neil was in real trouble and AQ are demons from hell.
rascalMatt17 jump out!? It happened so quick. One guy reached for him, and the pilot just knows all hell is breaking loose. Pilot didn't know and got them the fuck outta there. Then when they landed it's ohh shit we are going back. STFU about stuff you don't know.
Robert's was already dead but this info was not known by anyone, and Chapman went down trying to assult a second bunker he did not go down in a bunker.
Pretty sure there's drone footage that confirms Chapman died defending his position by himself.
If y’all didn’t know there’s a game called Medal of Honor 2010 and it’s based on he operation that this guy was in. This guy is a beast and God bless him🇺🇸🍺👍
God doesn't bless unjust wars or anybody who participates in them.
Anthony King, When Muslims such as the Taliban are crucifying, beheading, torturing, Christians, throughing gays off buildings, Drowning innocent children alive, and much more and these great American soldiers are sending them to there maker then this war on terror is nothing but just. You keep believing the it’s all about oil and the other fake news there telling you. In the end there is evil out there and it all started with Mohammad. The US is putting an end to terror. So God bless these great American soldiers🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💪
Tractor Nation right on brother amen 🙏🏻🇺🇸😇
so much respect for people that do this, the amount of courage is insane
What courage? From his Lies?
The Airman thatwas with him was actually the one who took out the bunker and advanced to engage enemy while this guy in the video was well away from the gun fire.
I agree Chief Slabinski is a real American warrior and I am grateful for his service and sacrifice. in this incident He followed Chapman up the hill and behind him entering the bunker....never made contact with him nor checked on his Team mate Chapman.
I just want to say thank you to all who have served! Because of your bravery and sacrifice I have freedom. I pray for you all and thank you all from the bottom of my heart! You are what makes this nation great!! I love each and every one of you and may God keep you all safe!
Should really make a movie to honor these men and what they went through.
Good idea. Another propaganda film justifying another trillion dollars to keep the Empire on full alert all over the world. Get Tom Cruise on the phone right now.
Theres a game about it called Medal of Honor. It came out in 2010 on the PS3 and 360. It's a GREAT story.
Thank you, but no think you. I don't believe I could live through it again.
Thank you for my freedom John Chapmen you are now forever an American Hero.....
Thank you! Thank you very much for fighting for me and our way of life. Your a godsend, you and all the men who fought on that mountain!
This guy stayed twenty feet behind John and didn't rush to the bunker until John overran it and killed the 2 enemy. He just stayed directly behind, not moving, while John was engaged. Drone footage tells the whole story.
Unless you were fighting on the mountain that night ...your opinion don't mean shit..
On my honor, I will do my best To do my duty to God and my country.
lol
Excuse me, was that a typo?. Did you mean to say, "duty to the CIA and their bankster overlords?" Check Marine General Smedley Butler's "War Is A Racket!"
He probably made up that shit just for the interview, Cringey as fuck at its finest. In the heat of battle, he was too busy hiding while an Airman was doing the SEAL's Job.
*John Chapman* has recently been awarded 2 MEDAL OF HONOR awards.
Not 1 MOH.
2 MOH.
It's a one way trip for you? is that why you let an Air Force Tech Sargeant lead the way seal?? Then to make matters worse you leave him there. Once you realize you had left tsgt Chapman you call fire from an AC130 on his position. This idiot should do time
no it was one navy cross then upgraded to MOH, so he only have 1 MOH
I agree. Who the hell lands their recon team on their OP? No one with a brain. SEALs have killed more rangers than the enemy but I'm biased. Former 1/75th.@@garryowen8673
@@pfdrtom brother your preaching to the choir. I've literally torn into my ruck dumped everything I didn't need to live just to carry a double load of ammo. Then humped half the night to avoid putting a bird in danger. All the time knowing if shit goes south I'm going to have to get distance to evac ( hence all the ammo). Last I looked the US isn't using Hinds. Someone got fixated on a target, and threw men at it that's it.
he got 1 , but qualified for 2 , they can only give you 1 medal of honor for a battle.
QRF: Always count on Rangers to have your back
Apparently not SEALS though
Under all of those circumstances..how are we hating on this guy? You can tell by his eyes he feels that death every day. I feel bad for him..even being completely perfect in that situation is a mess.
I can’t believe the USN hasn’t taken this video down
It does my heart good to know that everyone watching knows the truth. What would be a real tragedy would be if people believed this pos.
