GURL you are so right kids nowadays don't go outside they're playing with a gadget the computer or their phone I'm glad that I grew up during the Stone ages LOL since I'm over a half a century old... we went outside we climbed trees we played in the mud on the swing sets nothing like hide & go seek collecting lightning bugs in a mason jar drinking from the water hose chasing down the ice cream truck... in retrospect the pest control trucks fogged our neighborhood because the mosquitoes back in the day that's probably why some of us in our 50s or screwed up because we should have chased the ice cream truck instead of the mosquito truck that's kind of like a joke... we didn't really chase it but it was weird everyday at 4 we had to shut the house down while they spray that stuff people ask me if I could go back and relive my life ... I had a crappy childhood the 70s was a innocent time in lieu of this day and age... I saw a kid the other day wearing an outfit that cost more than my 20 year old car had the latest new Gadget phone was wearing Gucci with a Prada handbag & bossing her mother around while she was sipping on her Starbucks... I thought you little brat oh well I'm glad that my generation we were the OG's shag carpet the swinging chairs avocado appliances Harvest Gold refrigerators the gremlin the Vega the pinto going to the skating rink and of course we were all traumatized when we saw Jaws LOL oh I could go on and on I think my favorite thing though I have of my childhood that I miss the most was glass ball clackers that they outlawed because... some kids didn't know how to use them correctly mine was fine but you know we were kids I'm sure kids threw them around or bang them up I wish they would bring them back they tried with some plastic top and it just wasn't the same and they are selling for over $300 if you can find them on eBay pardon the long comment I'm just Southern we tend to be friendly & Vick has been very kind to me much love from Carolina🌹

You know what's wrong with the youth? Lack of discipline. No repercussions for their actions. Because no one's kids these days EVER do anything wrong. Everything is handed to them on a silver platter. Now of course it's not everyone, and there are certainly a lot of good, hard working kids out there. Shit, if I did something stupid or wrong growing up, I would first get it from my mother, and then prayed to God that my father cooled down enough before he got home from work!
