  • I am finding that reorganizing my craft room a little bit everyday is quite enjoyable. Spending a whole day reorganizing would feel more like work and become stressful for me. As I do a little bit at a time, I can figure out what works and what doesn't work. It's kind of like putting a puzzle together and figuring out where all the pieces are going to fit.

I simply love organizational ideas for crafting spaces & studios. I know how much work it is & how each of us needs to adopt what will work for us, our space, and our supplies. Thanks for sharing, Hazel

Turning pads upside down is a great tip. I've never seen that done or even thought of it! Thanks for sharing!

I found comfort is hearing you say you did your reorganizing a little bit at a time!
Most of the gals that do these video's remove everything and start from a clean slate and put it back together quickly. That big mess causes me sooo much frustration and overwhelm because my process isn't quick. It takes me a long time to figure out where things will work and where my containers will fit. I still feel frustrated and overwhelmed doing my slow process, but at least my mess is contained to the craft room.
I wish I had a friend to work with, but video's and shorts like yours are helpful.

Thank you so much Pat, yes I agree with the "little bit at a time," I just don't have time to do a lot at a time, and I think this makes me happy so I don't rush into something and then have regrets. 😀

Thank you for sharing your organization process of your paper for journals! I've been looking for a video that really shows just the paper items organized in a realistic method. Most of the time, the emphasis is on ephemera organization. I have collected a ridiculous amount of a variety of papers over the last few years and they have taken over my craft room. I just love them all and want to sell the surplus that I could not possibly use up in my lifetime. But I can never find what I'm looking for without tearing my room apart in the process. This was really great to see and has inspired me to attack my paper problem. Also, I do store my 12x12 paper pads upside down too! I use a hanging file folder rolling cart where they do stick out above the file folders. It makes it so easy to flip through the different pads and I can easily put larger scraps in the folder with each pad. It's probably the one really good paper storage I came up with. LOL. thanks again. Can't wait to finish watching your organization playlist.😊

Thank you so much! I'm glad you are enjoying the organization videos; I really enjoy organizing and I love the results. That is a great idea storing your paper in the hanging files in the cart that you have. Have a great week and Happy Crafting!

This was fun to watch. I too love organizing videos. I'm getting ready to move again next year and planning on having a bigger room, one that incorporates all my crafting things. Fingers crossed!! I'm going to reorganize all of my vintage papers in my filing cabinet and will use that upside-down method, it's a good one. TFS Hugs * L

Great ideas, Sheree!! You're so organized and it all looks so efficient. Junk journal crafting uses fabric, yarn, beads and paper supplies so it's a constant challenge to stay organized. My problem is remembering to use what I have, so I got many good tips from watching your video. I like the hanger idea in particular and plan to sew extra large clear pouches from old "space bags" that no longer keep air out.

Great video Sheree! I love all the tips. I made two strawberry journals this summer. They came out so cute! I love the luscious colors. Can't wait to see the one you make. 🥰🍓 I am definitely going to be on the lookout for skirt hangers now. Love the use of vertical storage.
