best version of the zephyr song for me.i know anthony is not on tune and john's mic is not loud enough but just look at them.look how they are feeling it.especially john.not to mention john's solo which is probably one of the best solos i've seen him doing.

Anthony is a beast with vocals, but this rendition with John is a religious experience. No matter what, this was sent out into the cosmic ether, and if someone is seeing a trillion light years away they will have the same Chad smile, had air guitar Flea's bass lines. A masterpiece!

All respect to Josh as a musician and artist...I love him, *but* you can really tell a difference in the flow of the live shows. John was definitely leading them in the shows. Now they are more of an equal footing band, and that's not to take away from Flea and Chad.
in this concert, Anthony had tinnitus. it is obvious in another video of this show. Thats why we can see more of john not only doing his usual back voice but also saving it for Anthony.

Something really nice about the solo John played in this version. The note choices along with Flea's bass part worked really well.

These 2 solos from JF are easily some of his best ever. They’re so simple yet so incredibly beautiful and passion filled. I’ve listened to this performance hundreds of times and something about these solos just grab me every time. Always thankful for John frusciante and so happy he’s back!!

How many times have I heard “it’s simple but it’s good” duhhh as if the standard is guitar sweeps and uptempo ragtime. Louie, Louie is simple. Yellow Submarine is simple. This not so much. Frusciante is well known for missing cues and often being too stoned to play but then he comes in and lays down the most perfect, ethereal solo patches and you remember why he's there and forget the rest. Standing in front of 20,000 people hoping he hits his marks must be terrifying.
