I just got a Levity 45 to hold my pack rafting equipment. It was challenging to find a pack that held the pack raft, had pockets to hold the paddle shafts, and attachments to hold the life jacket, as well as enough room to hold day-trip food and a change of clothes. This pack had everything I needed. My first pack rafting adventure included a rocky, technical hike (4-mile round trip and 1,000 feet vertical) up a mountain to a pond at the top. The pack weighed in at around 16 lbs and I was shocked at how comfortable and well-balanced it felt.
I'd recommend checking with your chosen airline as there isn't a standard measurement unfortunately. The dimensions of the bag are 68cm(L) / 40cm(W) / 30cm(D). Regards, Harry.
It depends on your chosen airline. The dimensions are: 68L / 40W / 30D. Check these against your airline's max measurements and you should get a definitive answer. Harry
Hi Miroslav. The Levity is not the best choice for a travel pack. Whilst it is well made it is primarily designed to be ultra-lightweight. I would recommend a tougher pack - the Kestrel 48 would be perfect www.trekitt.co.uk/37935/products/osprey-mens-kestrel-48-black.aspx
As far as size goes, do these fit true to their size charts? or do they run smaller than list size? I have a shorter torso (18.25") but there is a large Levity 45 I can get new for $250 Canadian. On Osprey's website they list 20" as needing a M or L pack and both 18" and 19" as needing a S or M pack.
Hi Doug, Osprey is pretty spot on with bag back length sizing so I would be inclined to go with what they say. To be sure, you can use their back sizing app. Google "Osprey back sizing app" and you should find it. We are in the UK so we only have access to ospreyeurope.com.
It's the Mountain Equipment Switch Jacket, you can find it here: www.trekitt.co.uk/34765/products/mountain-equipment-mens-switch-jacket-cosmoscardinal-orange.aspx
best test I have ever seen for this backpack thk u!
I just bought the Lumina 45, women’s version, for my first back pack. I hope I will love it 😊

Just got the levity 45 yesterday and so far with 25 pounds it feels really comfortable can’t wait to take it out on the trails
Quite fancy getting this to replace my Exos 46. It's the older version that hurts my shoulders.
Is this bag small enough to fit as hand luggage on budget airlines?
I'd recommend checking with your chosen airline as there isn't a standard measurement unfortunately. The dimensions of the bag are 68cm(L) / 40cm(W) / 30cm(D). Regards, Harry.
Good review. Helped me decide to get one.
Glad I could help
is it amazing??? thanks for sharing.
It's amazingly light!
Can this fit into a cabin size luggage?

Brilliant video much appreciated
Glad you enjoyed it
What do you think about durability when you traveling by airplane can the frame withstand in those conditions

I put my Levity in a cardboard box when traveling by plane.
Have you used the pack in the past year? If so, how about an update?
Afraid not. It was a stock item taken from our shop, so it hasn't been used any more than during the video.
Really nice review, thank you ! I'm now thinkin of selling my AG65 to buy a 60L Levity :D
Vous êtes partout
This is the zpack killer
Have you tried the Osprey Hornet before? How do you think the Levity compares?
I'm afraid we don't stock the Hornet, so we wouldn't be able to offer a detailed comparison.

Is it waterproof I wonder? Only praises and no negatives 😑
Nope. You won't find many waterproof rucksacks unfortunately as it adds far too much weight; you're better off just using a raincover.

@@erikh8993 DCF backpacks are very water resistant but they are not waterproof.
Almost sold on buying it. Just Concerned about durability.
Unfortunately there is always a trade-off. It won't be as durable as a Fjallraven pack for example, but it depends where your priorities lie.
what's that shirt you have on?
It's the Mountain Equipment Switch Jacket, you can find it here: www.trekitt.co.uk/34765/products/mountain-equipment-mens-switch-jacket-cosmoscardinal-orange.aspx
only one color?
Correct.
Shame they only make it in white.
