There are times where he does snap. This one of them. Literally when I heard him say "Bumblebee, sweetheart" I was like, "Oh God he snapped."
Guess he snapped both Mentally and Physically, lol you can hear the Servo Locks breaking as he loses it😅

G1 prime snaped once. He Ordered Sideswipe to give him his jetpack to catch up to the deceptions. And during that same episode atchet told him he needed medical assistance, Prime yelled saying he was fine.
I have to say, the prime voice is spot on.

I think my favorite part of this scene both in the original episode of Chowder and in this version is the acting really conveys that Optimus wants nothing more in this moment than to strangle the life out of Bumblebee but he has to remind himself via the “Dear boy” line that he cares for the person he wants to strangle and is thus channeling every ounce of his self control to not do that. XD

It's been said already, but I really have to commend your voice work for Optimus. You simultaneously manage to be a dead ringer for Peter Cullen while also imbuing Optimus with your own character and charm -- I love this more funny grandpa take on the big bot. Well done!

So people mention a show that you hate brothers you? Sorry but you need to get a life. I don’t like some shows, but I’m not going to throw a hissy a fit just because someone reference it. Plus RB and RBA are pretty decent. There are better transformers shows out there. But get so work up on it is just so stupid. It’s not a big deal.

I'm pretty sure if Optimus actually did blew a few he would straight up just run to Megatron and tearing into a bunch of bits and pieces the size of a grenade not a sabotronian grenade but unnormal grenade.

I've had a complete glitch earlier today, and I ended up having human intestines hanging out of my mouth while in a midst of fighting a Decepticon, and that caused all the decepticons to run around in circles, saying "WE ALL ARE UNDER A CURSE THAT CAUSES US TO HAVE THE SAME ORGANS AS HUMANS!!!!!" and I just stood there like "are you all fragging high or something??"
