But without a grain, it’s not a complete protein, is it?
Will certainly be trying these! I am yet to delve into your burger recipes, and something tells me these will also bang! 😊

Please put the amount of ingredients with your short videos.

You are absolutly right!
This is Indian food ,we Bengalis call it Musoor Dal'er Bora.❤❤
@@elfredawright No need to get triggered. There are certain recipies that are staple to certain countries . That's clearly what she meant .
@elfredawright
How dumb are you? How Every culture has their culture-specific foods and I’m telling you this as a white person. Think before you speak next time.
ডালের বড়া কে লেণটিল বার্গার বানিয়ে দিলো।
Well done.. bringing stupid logic in a cooking video.@@elfredawright
@@elfredawright Of course it's a white person who's triggered. Just say your food sucks and go 🤣🤣🤡
A staple in Bengali households, called Daler Bora. Add chopped green chilis for extra flavour.
Except we fry ours in oil! 😢
I'm from UP india we eat this here too but we use different lentils
In Kerala we say, PARIPPU-VADA
What do you instead of tomato paste? And can please specify the spices that can be used. And can I make it any type if oil?
@@EXOistheStandard Yes. Any type of oil and tomato paste is not necessary tbh. Just follow this short and it will be good
This is an Indian food, also India is heaven for Vegetarians
@@tusharshende9129 check your grammar before being racist☝️🤓

No thanks lol, I’ll take the lentil burger
Paripu vada ,an( Kerala) Indian snack . Any malayali here.
Ya but no carrot & I bet this is tastier , but need little green chilly
paripuvada pole nde 😂
@@vijithselvakumar6328 ya I got confused 😅
😋
Avaru carrot ittu velupichu
In hindi we call this Vada (Bada). Its a fried fritters or patties made from soaked lentils overnight with herbs and spices. Definitely a good source of protein since you chose Masoor daal (red lentils) which is a good source of protein good for blood pressure and good source for fiber.
Hello can you share the original Indian recipe please??🙏🏼 😊 greetings from Turkey. I love Indian food.
@@Lilish1994 you can check vada recipes on RUclips channel Hebbars Kitchen. Masala Vada is very tasty and similar to one this above.
Hi there I use these ingre£w❤dients in a soup. But would love to learn to make lentil burgers with those ingredients.❤
Vada is little bit different
In Mumbai if you ask for vada they will hand you a potato vada
Mushoor dal er boda very common in a Bengali ( Indian) household😊
No one asked for
Bengali (indian and bangladeshi ) households
@@madhumithar9804 you can mind your business even if this annoys you as there are people out there who'd love to know more about the origin of recipe. So it's for them.
Well, your name suggests that you're Indian but you're shutting down a fellow Indians from claiming Indian dishes. Classic Pick me behaviour. According to you we should just let them tweak staple Indian dishes and call it their invention. OMG!! Lets call it lentil burger patties when it's just masoor dal er boda. Let's just call dosa, rice and lentil crepes. Sabzi daal is actually lentil soup. Smh
@@juniapranti990yes, Bengali and Bangladeshi. And if anyone from the southern Indian states finds a similarly they should claim it as theirs. They're are not lentil burgers is all I know. ❤
@@pijjagal 💀💀 chill down mf. Ain't nobody reading alat. Also it's so funny seeing you bring up a misogynistic term in a food video 😂😂
My wife is a vegetarian. Iam going to make these for her. Thanks for the recipe!
In Malayalam (Kerala)🇮🇳 we call it as Parippu Vada, which is an evening snack that we eat with tea or coffee
This is Indian dal vada.
Similar to our dal vadai/masala vadai in India
Omg Indian food!! ❤❤ please acknowledge its Indian when making Indian food. Love❤
You are right. Most western you tubers copy all Indian food as it's vegan or vegetarian and promote it in their channel.
Please just be happy a recipe you enjoy is being shared, where and who it comes from is ultimately irrelevant in the end my friend
She is Indian heritage @S01233
There's also a similar Turkish recipe. Its not a big deal. You can take and mix and match
Most dumbest comment. You’re so desperate for acknowledgment just cause she used lentils? News flash lentils don’t belong to Indian ppl
I love how you don’t need a binder for these!
The tomato paste isn't the binder?
@itsbeauty2u_ nope. Lentils binds enough once it is ground. Make sure you get all the water out.
@@itsbeauty2u_, with lentils, you don't need . Just soak em in water overnight.
If you want binder, use Chickpea Flour in little quantity.
I feel safe when these dietitian and vegetarian chefs show you a whole bowl of food that tastes good and makes you feel good❤
Not gonna lie, I would eat those plain with sauce just like that. They look really good
Sweet potatoe. Lentil curry with coconut cream. Spicy My favorite

In Greece we bake them in the oven with some greek extra virgin oil on top. Plus a little bit of feta or kephalograviera on the side and tastes delicious!

Nice lentil patties, I will definitely make some
In Bangladesh🇧🇩 we call it daler Bora. My mom loves to eat it with rice.
I wish my mom raised me like this! I’m very glad I am vegan now, but your kids are super lucky! I’m working on getting my mom to go vegan, I’ve been showing her your recipes.
You clearly know nothing about essential needs for a growing child. Animal based fats and protein are ESSENTIAL for development.

These are so delish! Thank you for the inspiration
Hello I love your cooking videos everything looks so healthy
This is a popular Indian snack called Dal Vada
There are too many haters in the comments here (I didn’t expect it) but here’s the thing:
1. Veganism is the key to longevity. Unless we teach the kids to love healthy, plant based food, they will remain slaves to the “veg food is just grass” culture and have increased health risks in the future (saying that as a licensed doctor). Half of the Indian families don’t even bring meat into their homes and kitchens.
2. Protein is difficult to increase on a vegetarian of veg diet. There are higher protein lentils yes, but every lentil/ingredient has a nutrient value specific to it and it is healthy to include them all in the diet for balanced meals. We should know how to utilise everything available and increase variety in food. Specially plant based food focused on proteins.
3. Every cooking option has its highs and lows. Shallow fry is better than deep frying anyway. A dash of something in moderation doesn’t make the entire dish unhealthy. Certain oils have health benefits of their own.
4. It’s not just about ingredients, it’s also about methods. It’s also about mentality. It is about creating an easy to execute lifestyle. Nitpicking without keeping the bigger picture in mind is not going to make things easier for anyone.
We are created omnivores! And if you're really a doctor you should know this... We need vegetables as well as meats! Why woukd i prevent myself from eating meats? You vegans always tell the same lie: meats are not good for health... Then why are we made omnivores?! You call them haters i only see people so fed up with the veg cr*ap that they feel the need to counter attack every time a veg fool is spreading his sh*it over the internet
Thanks for sharing your recipe!😊
the kids are so lucky 😭💗
Lentil burgers is only a fancy name. We all know its just masoor dal er bora or vada. This recipe did not result from experimentation but by making minor adjustments to a staple Indian snack/ side-dish. 😅
I love how she ran her resume down for us. 😅 I love your recipes.
Definitely adding this to the rotation… thank you for sharing!!
Def going to make this!!!! Thank you so much for sharing. 🙏🏼
arent these lentils incomplete in protein and also high in carbs compared to protein?
I make something kind of similar. But I add breadcrumbs, an egg, diced onion, garlic salt and worstershire sauce to them. Then fry with more worstershire sauce. Serve on a garlic and cheese toasted bun with mayo, mustard, ketchup, raw onion, tomato, lettuce and dill pickle.
Hmm delicious. I will definitely try this recipe. Thanks for sharing. ❤
I subscribed immediately like I been looking for you all my life😂 this video is as good as your dietitian certificate to me. You are qualified to advise me on my meal preps 😭 that looks delicious and just appetising!
The lentils are just soaked and not boiled ?

We in india make this with different kinds of lentils we add it in curry too
Also yes. I am very proud of my Indian heritage which has aced vegan food and its combinations to deliver all food groups and complete amino acid range in our daily diets. Be is vadas, daal rice, mix vegetable sabzi (including poriyal, kootu, curries, etc) with our natural spices, Indian food is tasty, high in fibre, rich in antioxidants and a complete meal, only increasing the preton has to be actively considered. I’m so proud 🥹
And extremely high in carbohydrates and sugar lol
This is paruppu vadai made in Tamil Nadu

Variations of any recipe can be made from ingredients available in any place. No one owns the recipe or cooking method. Even in india different households make the same recipe differently. With so much information available on the internet anyone can make any dish. What's there to be upset about?
