- Some of the most beautiful villages can be found in the Cotswolds, England. This guide shows you MORE of the most beautiful villages in the Cotswolds and historical properties from this pretty part of England.
In part 2 of the travel guide we visit, Bourton on the Water, Slaughters, Stow on the Wold, Broadway Tower and much more!
We start in Bourton on the Water this stunning village has been described as the little Venice of the Cotswolds. There is plenty to see, eat and do including Birdland, a small bird zoo with a collection of penguins, a model railway, perfumery and factory and our highlight the Cotswolds Motor and Toy museum.

Cotswold Motor Museum goo.gl/maps/gPVm4bm65PQVC8cC9
The Slaughters are two cute villages sometimes missed by visitors and are the jewel in the crown of the area.
Lower Slaughter has some lovely walks and this peaceful location boasts some of the most picture-perfect cottages and photogenic locations in the Cotswolds. The old mill is a highlight dating back to the 10th century and offers tours, a cafe and a craft shop.

Upper Slaughter is a real sleepy village a mile from Lower Slaughter and linked by the river. You can walk along the river between the two villages it takes about 25 minutes, but it can be muddy if the weather has been bad.

We said it was Moreton-in-Mash Mistake it was actually.
Chipping Campden
This glorious market town. It is notable for its elegant terraced High Street, dating from the 14th century to the 17th century
goo.gl/maps/GMNjt981WHgbUJvN7
Broadway Tower
Historic folly, by Capability Brown, with exhibitions and links to the Arts and Craft Movement. Great for a walk around and stunning views over the rolling hills of the Cotswolds.

I really admire those people who are living there while maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of the nature. Those people deserve such beautiful place like Cotswolds.
I love seeing the quilts that are all through your videos. They remind me of my gran's home. They are works of art.
Loved this videos man. Keep it up. Having grown in middle class family in crowded Indian slums, places like these are paradises for me that I’ll never get to visit in my life
Hi there thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video and were able to experience a small part of England even if you cannot get here.
You never know Vishal! Anything is possible! Hope you can make it one day.....
Have faith you will g😅 someday God bless!
Just found your tours, love what I have seen so far. From the US and have been drawn to the areas you are covering. Most things British have always interested me. 😀
Hello and welcome glad you found us, lots of our videos are about the U.K. so plenty for you to watch. Thanks for watching and following us! 😊
What a beautiful England!
Luv the English countryside simply stunning
Spent our first night of our honeymoon at The Lords of the Manor in Upper Slaughter.stunning and highly recommended
How fantastic, it did look a lovely hotel in our favourite village!
Good to hear that your honeymoon was stunning but what was the hotel like.
@@PatrickKelly-lz3pv this was about 23 yrs ago but I believe it is still a very good and well managed hotel.
When we were there it was outstanding. Very quaint and still with its charming features but with a modern 5 stars service and quality to boot.the staff were super and the grounds were immaculate.
Great place for couples and getaways.
As an Australian, if all you saw was this video to judge the UK, you would just have to say, how could anyone leave this. Bourton-on-the-Water, with all that history, those scrumptious looking bakery and tea shops, with that gorgeous rushing water, wow wow wow. Yes the Slaughters, I agree the houses there, the way they followed the curve of the stream, with that Cotswold stone, very beautiful. Definitely have to book our trip o'there
My dream has always been to not only travel to, but actually live in a beautiful English country village. Being an Australian and in her 50’s, it’s looking less likely that will ever happen. Your videos have given me so much pleasure. The next best thing to being there ! Thanks so much for making such great videos 🙏💕
Hello Liss, so glad we have been able to give you pleasure watching our videos. I hope you can at least visit sometime even if the dream of living here cannot be realised.
I could never afford to live here but I come here bye coach twice a year April & October for the day . Love 😊 everytime I visit & the locals are very friendly , nice ladies clothes shop next to a lovely coffee shop 😊😊😊😊
Love the English gardens, miss them so much.
If you like the gardens, then we have a lovely playlist on National Trust properties with lots of amazing English gardens to wander around. ruclips.net/p/PL7ZS1Ml0SItQumSFLIjRDWjrCTiERGU5L

You are welcome have a good one too!
Thanks for the great video! I miss the Cotswolds and cant wait to come back soon.
This was absolutely lovely. In 2011, my husband and I had a private guide take us essentially to all of the beautiful places you outlined here, after we took the train up from Paddington. We were even lucky to hit a 70 plus degree day on April 6th. We had a fish and chips delicious lunch high on a hill as well. I cannot remember the name of the restaurant. It was a day to remember for a lifetime.
Thank you for sharing your experiences in the Cotswolds. It sounds like you had a very memorable trip and the video stirred those memories. 😊 You were lucky with the weather! Thanks for watching.
Dear wonderful creators!
First of all I am deeply thankful for sharing your amazing videos. I would like to take a journey to the 🇬🇧. All of sudden we would not allow to visit overseas due to this pandemic. This is the best of the best I have watched.
Wonderful! Julianna thank you for your comment, so pleased you liked it and we impressed you! Lot's of new videos to come even with our restrictive travel 😊

Niște locuri, intr adevăr foarte frumoase !!

Vă mulțumim că ați luat legătura și vă bucurați că v-a plăcut turul acestei minunate părți a Angliei. Salutari!
Sensational - this is a gem of an area! 20 years ago my new girlfriend at the time (my wife now) stayed at Stow-on-the-Wold & toured the area in very similar fashion to yourselves. It truly is a special area with something unique around every corner. Happy travels! Oh, we also took pics of each other in the stocks which we still find amusing!
It certainly is lovely whatever the time of year. We are hoping to visit again soon.
Beautiful areas. I love Cornish pasties. When we lived in the Pocono Mts of PA met Mr Pastie who is related to people in Britian. Loved the dessert, savory pasties. Also visited his company. In a local grocery store they used to sell frozen Mr Pasties. Miss them and have lived in WEST VIRGINIA for over 25 years now.
It’s just so beautiful, love it so much
I love old architecture / buildings. As wonderful as the Cotswolds are, I cannot help but get the urge to pressure wash the exteriors of the buildings! lol. They all look like they need a very good wash!
Loved part 1&2...
Excellent production values...clear, great sound and content
I can't wait to vacation in England
You guys are my British Rick Steves!!
Thank you so much for the compliment, and for watching our videos!
Love these beautiful videos . Gorgeous villages! Beautiful photography. I feel I am there.
Thank you very much!
Thank you - another share - People always love the Cotswolds - very nice & relaxing, thank you - but the rivers looked a little high for comfort!
There had been a bad storm a few days before the wind was still a problem when we visited but was at least dry.
I was there in 1985 beautiful
It is the most beautiful area
My wife and myself were in all the places in this video only last week
A great memory video to look back on😊
Thank you
Wonderful
You are an excellent ambassador of tourism uk, just fantastic
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the video, it is a beautiful part of our country.
My husband is from England and we will be visiting in February, 2022, for the first time since the pandemic. Have been to many of the Cotswold villages over the years, but wanted to have a difference perspective. Thank you for sharing. I will use your tour to visit some of the villages we haven't had the opportunity to see. Exciting...I've always said my history book came to life the first time I visited the UK in 2009!
Well we hope you have a fantastic trip and the weather is kind to you. It will be a quieter time to visit. Enjoy!
Lovely video tour beautiful villages. Very well done beautiful Cotswolds. Here from MALTA
Thank you very much! Welcome from lovely Malta, hope you stay for future videos 😊
Its...like being in an old movie, of the past...sooo...quaint and pretty....unique.
I have recently discovered your channel and absolutely love it! I am in the U.S., and since the age of 10 have had a fascination of England. I made my first trip to London aged 19, and have since been 5 times. I have always stayed in London, but your videos are making me long to experience the beautiful countryside, and villages. Thank you for the content! A new subscriber in the U.S.
Hello Jeffrey lovely to hear you found us and are enjoying our videos many of which are in the U.K. Lots to catch up on, and we hope new inspiration for another visit. Many of them are accessible by train quite quickly if you do end up in London again. Canterbury, Winchester, York (2 hours) to name but a few. A car to head further like the Cotswolds is a good bet, but probably best to avoid June, July and August as the busiest times of year, if you can. All the best!
@@MemorySeekers thank you for the tips!
Ever since I was a small child I was interested in British history, country, and basically everything British. My family always thought I was weird (actually I thought I was also) but a few years ago I got a dna test as a gift and it turned out that my ancestry is majority British followed by Scottish and then Irish. I was blown away because I thought since my mom’s family was German (didn’t know who my biological father was) that it would dominate my dna, it didn’t.😳 Maybe that explains my fascination.(?) Anyway, I always wanted to visit there, as does my eldest daughter, but just never got the chance and now I’m not physically capable of that kind of travel. Your videos are a delight for me because I can see so many things/places I’ve read and heard about.👍 Thank you, much appreciated! I also shared your channel with my daughter.☺️
Hi Trish, thank you for sharing your interest and connection. Such a shame you never managed to visit, but we are very glad to be able to share on the channel and show you something virtually. This is what keeps us go to make new videos. All the best Simon & Will
@@MemorySeekers ☺️
So much work is put into your videos and it shows. I love seeing places that I myself may not ever have the opportunity to see. But what a cool and incredible tasks you have taken on. Great job and wishes for continued success to explore and share beautiful places and history.

Pleased you enjoyed it. Hopefully the videos on our channel will give you some inspiration for your next trip together
What a delightful and interesting video ever! I learned a lot about this particular area of The Cotswolds! Beautiful just beautiful villages and countryside! Loved the sheep's reaction to your car passing through! Even on gray cloudy days, England can still be most beautiful indeed! Thank you so much for sharing this video with all of us! Well done indeed again!
Haha yes at Newark Park, they were like, who are you? Why are you pointing a camera at me!
good to know you can hop on at Paddington and wind your way to Moreton in the Marsh, also there is a bus that goes from St Pancras and past Euston all the way to Paddington for £1.55, I can't remember the bus number maybe 206. All, genuinely all villages within 10, 20 and most within 30 miles radius of Broadway Tower are worth a look, I've often pondered a train trip. I stayed near Stratford a few months ago and wandered around and the little country lanes all lead to pleasant quiet pretty backwaters, I also stayed in Paddington and that weren't too bad either (sorry slightly of tack but it's true, Paddington is a cool area near Hyde Park, technically I was in 'Tyburnia')
Just beautiful. Breath taking.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Ohh beautiful!!
Thanks for that 👍👍🥰
😊
