- BEWARE: This BBK did not properly fit my car. They refused to send me adapters that fit properly. They are not responding to emails and I am having to fight with my credit card company to try to get a charge back. I highly recommend avoiding this company. StopTech is cheaper and much more reliable!

I won't bother with the install video. The initial set of brackets was way off from decent fitment. They sent me a second set and they were not much better. I'm now fighting to try to get my money back. Ceika has stopped responding.

@@drewdizm523 thank you. They won't even respond with an address to return the stuff to. I've filed a chargeback request with my credit card company. I'll try to get some proper brackets made here and maybe give them a shot if I end up having to keep the BBK.
I have these brakes on my Toyota MR2. Fitment was good on my car, but the brake lines needed an adaptor to mount it securely against the chassis. I emailed Ceika and they just kept pretending they didn’t know what I was talking about, suggested using zip ties. Seriously when I paid $3,000 for a big brake kit, I expect it to fit like a glove - not have to Mickey Mouse things go make it work. I ended up making my own bracket to hold the brake lines in the oem position vs rubbing against my tires.
If I had to do it again, I wouldn’t buy Ceika.
to be fair $3k is cheap as fuck in the brake world. like i know it's a lot of money but for brakes it's nothing. if this was a $6500 brembo set then yeah your expectations make sense but you're buying budget brakes, you get a budget product.
2001 Porsche 911 calipers are for sale from Porsche for $1k a set and probably better quality than ceika so 3k isnt cheap at all

@@224rebels if its a Porsche product it very well may be better than many mid and low quality new brakes

Ceika makes incredible stuff. Ive had my coil over kit in my Rogue Sport (Qashqai) for 80k without issue. No one makes anything for my vehicle and ill soon be upgrading to a big brake kit myself. Customer service is TOP NOTCH.
I myself are in the market for a BBK or Big Brake Kit. The BBK I am looking to buy is from EBC and like you I have phoned them to ask will this fit my car without any modifications meaning will it be a remove original claiper and simply pop on the new 4 pot piston caliper. I know their barke kit will fit my car as they have one fitted already to a car the same as mine so they know it fits perfectly or so they say it does.
I often think are these companies being wholly truthful I mean there is bound to be A snag which they never tell you about until you are fitting it by then it is too late you just have to mod whatever to continue on with the install, like cutting the front brake disc, dust cover something small like that.
In your case because as you say brakes don’t work properly and the caliper is way too big why don’t you seek legal counsel from a legal eagle surely they can take a case against this company for basically telling you a load of bull shit, I am from Ireland and I feel your pain would sure hate to be in your position as it must really get on your nerves to think you just wasted this time and money on a BBK to have it not perform as intended if it were me honestly I would certainly settle for nothing less than a full unconditional refund I would never really be happy with something, so not fitting together properly.
You have my sympathy and I feel for you no one deserves that especially when you asked beforehand, shame on them for telling you it would what nonsense they have told you, do you not have a course to resolution with whom you can complain like a trading standards as we can do, even them being in Taiwan would not be out of reach as anyone can be sued by means of litigation if it is deemed serious enough.

They are still on the car. I still feel like they are not what I was promised, but the car stops most of the time.

How is the install going? I'm debating about trying this company for my RX7. I'm mainly doing it to have matching BBK calipers with a working ebrake.
I have finished the install, but am holding off on posting the video. There were some fitment issue. Ceika is working on fabbing new adapters to hopefully solve this. I'll post once I've received and installed them.
I would definitely not recommend purchasing from this company. They are refusing to replace the adapters with ones that fit properly. This means I will have to pay a local machinist to do the work. I will be posting an updated video with install, machining, and my opinion once complete.
@@TheKev608 thank you for the update. It's a shame because it's really hard to find a company that incorporates the ebrake in their bbk kits with 4 pot calipers. I personally want it for the aesthetic (I like things to match).
@@dabigesii I filed a complaint with PayPal and they claim to be making new adapters. Once I receive them I will update again.
@@TheKev608 any update? I'm still debating. I've compared the sizes for the rotors to another reputable kit and they are a direct match. Besides the adaptor pieces, is everything else sound quality?

I could have gotten StopTech's for less. I pointed this out to them before buying and they assured me the quality of the Ceika kit was far superior.
They're made in Taiwan in literally the same complex as everyone else... no one on the planet offers more combinations and options than Ceika or APG.
