Bart: "I never thought I would die fighting side by side with my sister." Lisa: "What about side by side with a friend?" Bart: "You're right. New Simpsons is shit."
It's based off of the siege of Helm's Deep. Not very well, because they missed the bit where Legolas finally can't kill something with his arrows and they should have made it more of a story of them building the fort to defend themselves with their friends being the men of Rohan and Nelson's bullies being the elves and then Millhouse or someone, probably Flanders actually or something coming like Gandalf. It's very loosely based and at first I didn't get it, but you soon recognise the little hints to the films.
Omicron Delta Rho Dude calm down, I was saying things that they could have done to make it more obvious, because there are cool bits that could easily have been done by other characters, like I said, as there is a rivalry between the men and the elves, but at times they stand together, Nelson's bullies could have played the Elves and then Flanders or even better, Skinner, could have ridden in as a Gandalf figure with a load of reinforcements. There are things they could have done to make it work better. I'm not saying they're ignorant, it's cool, but I just think that they could have added more things to make it more like the film, just like how Family Guy does the Star Wars films and has their characters playing different Star Wars roles.
