      It's based off of the siege of Helm's Deep. Not very well, because they missed the bit where Legolas finally can't kill something with his arrows and they should have made it more of a story of them building the fort to defend themselves with their friends being the men of Rohan and Nelson's bullies being the elves and then Millhouse or someone, probably Flanders actually or something coming like Gandalf.
      It's very loosely based and at first I didn't get it, but you soon recognise the little hints to the films.

    • @30secondstomarsMBH
      @30secondstomarsMBH 8 лет назад +3

      Omicron Delta Rho Dude calm down, I was saying things that they could have done to make it more obvious, because there are cool bits that could easily have been done by other characters, like I said, as there is a rivalry between the men and the elves, but at times they stand together, Nelson's bullies could have played the Elves and then Flanders or even better, Skinner, could have ridden in as a Gandalf figure with a load of reinforcements.
      There are things they could have done to make it work better.
      I'm not saying they're ignorant, it's cool, but I just think that they could have added more things to make it more like the film, just like how Family Guy does the Star Wars films and has their characters playing different Star Wars roles.

    @ 2:05 "who knew that guys in brown could cause so much trouble".. nice historical hint towards SA squads just before NSDAP (Nazi party) took power in Germany before WW2.
    They terrorized, burned houses, synagogues and beat anyone, that would oppose them.
    They kept on using those brown shirts through the entire Nazi regime and those were given to the youth as well in the HJ (was politically radicalized form of scouts like organization)
    I love Simpsons for all those subtle hints and analogies. Great series

      It is not a dragon. It is a Fell Beast, a creature that was used as a mount by the Nazgul (Ringwraiths), who, in the books, were more bird-like than dragon-like. Peter Jackson portrayed them as dragons in the movies rather than birds

      That's common World War II history. Literally Wikipedia or Google the SA (Sturmabteilung, Storm Department, or "Storm Troopers") as well as the Night of the Long Knives. While he may have overgeneralized, there was a lot of gay sex, sadism, and other nonsense at the upper echelons of the SA which ultimately led to Hitler destroying them, shooting their leaders and merging the grunts into the army or discharging them completely.
