I don't want to be depressed so I run to God. And you know what He uses to set me free?
WORSHIP SONGS.
Every time the voices come, I play worship songs and sing them. I sing and sing and sing and pray to God and worship again. It's a total warfare. After three days of battle, I was set free. God set me free!
There are lots of worship songs out there, but I suggest hymns. Do you know Maranatha worship songs? Or Sovereign Grace music?
Their melodies are really nice.
Try listening to "Afflicted Saints" "What a friend we have in Jesus" and other hymns.
God extends His arms to the ones who call for Him. He will help you.
You're not alone. I will also pray for you!!!!

I need to hear this. Was married to an abusive man for about 12 yrs. Left the marriage with 2 kids. That took a toll on my worth and value. It has broken my soul. He recently took his life and now I feel even more discarded. Then got myself in another relationship that I know was not of a

How You Can Have Eternal Life ! Realize you are a sinner being sorry. Sin is lying, evil thoughts, lust,etc. Therefore, do not trust in your own works to go to heaven because you realize, being a sinner, you cannot offer the perfect blood sacrifice that God requires to pay for sin. Instead, believe, meaning fully trust, that in Christ's love for you, on the cross, His one perfect blood sacrifice, when Christ bled, suffered and died, in your place, paid for your sins in full, past, present and future ! Believe that Jesus rose from the dead ! Believe Jesus is God Almighty, God the Son, alive for evermore ! And believe that the sinless blood of Jesus Christ is what cleanses you from all sin, which purifies your soul ! Then the Lord Jesus will forgive you,save you from hell and give you eternal life ! Heavenly Father please continue to give me strength I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom, I face challenges that can seem impossible especially with raising two children with special needs. Lord I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children and I feel so alone. I’m constantly in fear. At times I want to give up. One should keep in mind :As a Christian we should focus on constantly building ourselves rather than focusing only on deliverence and miracles....(its a part)
Thank you so much Lana! I am a single mom and gave my life to Jesus last year but I am struggling with what I now know to be strongholds! Your message helps me so much to know that even though I am struggling now still even after giving my life to Jesus but you show me that it takes TIME and consistency in the word to deliver me from these strongholds. I lost my hair from stress and am praying for a husband it feels unfair because everyone else around me is married but I need to keep working on myself as i wait for the Lord. I've come very far in this process but recently I've been expirencing some setbacks and this isn't something other people I know also deal with and sometimes the enemy would convince me that something is wrong with me and that fighting for my freedom isn't worth it but I know it is and the reminder to prioritize His presence is so essential. I've heard a lot of preachers touch on this but ultimately blame the person for not "having enough faith" or "not praying enough" or basically being ignorant of our struggles.
