Jon Henrik´s spoken part in Sami the beginning, translation:

In the televote/app score from the Swedish votes Jon Henrik & Aninia came on 4th place, but it was a really close contest among the top 4. They got 10.3% of the votes, Robin Bengtsson got 10.6%
, Wictoria got 10.9% and Nano 11.9%. The points from the international juries for Jon Henrik & Aninia were Israel 0p, Malta 0p, Czech Republic 0p, Armenia 2p, UK 2p, Norway 2p, France 8 p, Australia 8p, Poland 10p, Italy 12p Ukraine 12 p. Robin Bengtsson won the jury vote, while Nano won the tele/app votes, and when all was counted Robin won. Hope you get to watch some of the other entries in Melodifestivalen 2017. And all other years too. I think you´ll enjoy it, and you´ll get a lot of views from Swedes, and Eurovision fans in general.
I think I´ve said this before. If you ever have a lot of time on your hands. I really recommend you watch Eurovision Song Contest 2016, hosted in Sweden, the whole thing, both of the semifinals, the grandfinal. It´s considered by many as the best Eurovision so far. I, as a Swede, is biased of course. But it is really good. It´s 8 hours of pure entertainment, and really good production value.

It was from 2017. This is the Swedish preselection show for the Eurovision Song Contest
He’s a national treasure for both the Swedish people and the Sami people.
Although I’m not quite qualified to speak for the Sami, I’m almost certain they hold this sentiment even stronger than us Swedes. I’d like to hear the opinion of any Sami passing through :)

The movie Frozen 2 is actually based of the Sami people (The Northuldra in the movie). So yes, his clothes looks like they came from frozen :D

@@KimOfDrac Her clothes are also traditionally inspired with the silver clasps going down the front of the dress and the cape. Reminiscent of Swedish iron age (Viking) culture. Our peoples have lived side by side and peacefully traded for thousands of years.

Jon Henrik is Sami Which is native ( Swedish Indigenous) It's a specific way they sing it's called 'Jojk'
Svenska indianer? Svenska indier? "Indigenous" på engelska eller "urbefolkning" på svenska skulle kanske vara mer passande. Men samiska är besläktat med finska, och sameland spänner över 4 länder.

Actually, with a sami and a nordic singing together it's a lot like Frozen 2 but with the genders reversed.

4 years late to be relevant. But the Sami people are the only people, that we know of, who have never partaken in organized violence. Meaning there never was such a thing like a Sami warrior or similar.
