There was a lot of stuff wrong with Live Aid. It was supposed to help the starving refugees in Ethiopia. Ethiopia has a communist government that was actively massacring tribal groups in the mountains and the Wilderness of Ethiopia. Therefore, the people needed food so that they could survive.
