Marmots ~ Alpine Lakes Wilderness (Nature Observations)

These marmots were quite habituated to backpackers and hikers. They didn't try to steal our food or chew our gear, and they didn't seem to mind us being in their "home." We minded our business and tried not to disturb them and they went about doing what marmots do: rolling, running, standing up, whistling, playing, eating grasses and plants,....
