Enjoyed this very much. Looking forward to seeing these athletes at Regionals. I am very impressed at how Mat's parents insisted on his having a backup plan for later. So many folks just live in the "NOW" and fail to plan for when they get older. These athletes have put in a lot of time and discipline---I respect that so much and enjoy watching them. Best of Luck this year 2018!!!

The lynch pin of this show is Elly. Love or hate her enthusiasm, but she is the thing that gets topics going, keeps the guest active, and contributes to most discussions.

I'm a current Masters Degree student for Applied Exercise Physiology and last week we had a lecture regarding the whole poo bacteria thing, and to be fair to Elly, she's actually correct!
Sounds good guys. Enjoyed listening. Maybe put some Mayhem posters up and couple scriptures. Lot of real estate behind you not being utilized. You guys are inspiring and keep up the awesome work.
Love that this is Froning's show and most of the time he's on his phone. This could have been a much better episode. Much more interesting based of hot topics.
The first 4 episodes were good and I thought the 5th with Fraser would be the best, but I was let down; I feel like they hardly talked to him and there wasn't much actual content. Rich argued with Elly most of the episode; I think he's nervous in the presence of Mat because he knows that Mat is king now.
I think it's more like these people have all heard each other's stories a million times already. The interest isn't there like is for the people watching.

FYI - I've been on several cruises.... Yes, there are cameras EVERYWHERE. They can't see INTO the cabins, but they see everywhere else.
I'm wondering if Rich has ever Seen the show 11.22.63 with James Franco?? It's about time traveling back to 1960 to try and prevent the Kennedy assassination. It's an excellent sci-fi/historical thriller. Probably Franco's best performance also.. Love you all!
I'd love it if you'd put on some of the old school champs like Jason Khalipa... get into why he's started brazilian jui jitsu, running his box, etc.

I have a question for Rich. I started doing crossfit about two and half months ago. I had been doing body building about a year before. About a month into following crossfit.com workouts I didn't feel like it was enough. So I incorporated crossfit mayhems workout of the day as well as long as the workouts aren't to close alike. Is this to much for a beginner in crossfit? I also generally do the normal crossfit three round warm up, should I do a lighter warm up since I workout twice a day? I end up doing the warm up twice a day.
Constantly varied brother, and if you aren't getting sick or tired then keep it up

Elly I worked on a cruise ship there are cameras on the balcony... Also we take counts of everyone who gets on and off the ship. Its not that easy.
Dude Elly is dumb and amazing all at once. How she didn't know the international sign for chocking I don't know, that being said she must be on every episode. I love her and she adds so much to the podcast, you rock Elly.

Waiting on some tough topics to be discussed, such as: doping in CrossFit and it's affect on this years Games podium finishers, and discussion on the new teams format and how that affects your Teams of Freedom and Independence. Enjoying the podcast but sometimes the conversation just seems like a random sit down with no topics of focus.
this was filmed before the invitational announcement of team changes. but as to the rest, this is a podcast where friends are talking about what interests them and i can't see it going into things like doping or other "tough topics". that stuff would come from placed like barbell shrugged, and the crossfit podcast.
Since when is someone not allowed to offer their own opinion? Simply some things I'd like to see discussed. Find someone else to comment on you fucking loser.
