    I watched and re-watched the section on how to make the beds. But I couldn't understand the point. Are we trying to emulate Pottery Barn with the double duvets and layered blankets or not? You said you liked the look but people don't live that way. I actually do have big fluffy comforters with an extra blanket across the bottom of the bed. It makes the room so cozy.

      do not listen to the so call "experts" go with your gut feeling, what u like, what feels right for you and your love ones...u will feel "at home, your home" and not a trend, or someones else's idea of what a home should look like... U r the queen home is your castle do what u feel is right!!

      Hi you two, totally agree our homes are all about what makes us feel awesome. Absolutely, your bed should be a representation of what’s important to you.
      For me for example, I have to be able to make my bed with one hand in two minutes while brushing my teeth!!
      In terms of inspiration from Pottery Barn and RH, we are specifically talking about prepping your home for sale and a bed that is luxurious and layered is an easy and fantastic way to elevate a room. But “easy” for us as designers might not be as easy for others so that is why we are pointing you to a couple of brands that do it really well.

    I really enjoyed your information and design philosophy. I am especially intrigued by your comments on staging your dining room table, then re-doing it to better relate to potential buyers. I really wish you would have shown your specific “before & after” pictures, so that we could see the difference. Instead you used 3 or 4 photos of various dining room tables. A missed teaching opportunity.
