I always looked at riding one of those chains when I lived in blackpool but I never thought they’d take my weight... turns out I was correct 😂 fair play on getting it done though!!
Nice to see my home town in a good light. 😀 Danny just to let you know, at that exact spot where you broke the chain, I attended a patient who jumped over that very wall while running away from the police. He got stretchered back up by the Coastguard with a broken ankle, just as the tide was lapping their legs. Plod just patiently waited at the top. And also down at Starr Gate, when you jumped off the sea wall onto the beach, you rode over the Undersea Internet Cable from the USA the north of Europe. It only came ashore in October 2020. Just think if you managed to bust the Internet and an ancient rusty chain, Blackpool council would be looking for you. 🤣
Am so gutted i live round the corner from there and i have watched danny for years grew up on his skills would love to have seen him ride or met him keep up the work legend❤
I love the slick final edited 'perfect' sequence of tricks videos, but these show just a little of what went into making that final 'it looks so easy' cut! There's a lesson here for us all. Thanks guys.
After watching the final cut a few weeks ago, I wandered on over to a unicycle video where a guy rides unicycle on a slack line and then jumps & turns 90 degrees onto another slack line and rides that one. True insanity. All of ya! Masters. Geniuses. Wizards! Thank you so much for sharing the behind the scenes where we learn that these two are ALMOST human! "Getting old?" Oh shut up!
Riding in my childhood (almost) backyard and what a place for urban trials.. Those chains are seaside iconic, especially the No Access signs when the sea is raging behind. Great job on riding one they're really manky with green slime in the lower promenade.
Soon as I seen the chain I thought of the Ryan leech crux segment. Glad he gave him the credit for that because that segment is still amazing 15 years later!
Showed my 7 year old daughter a few of your videos this week and she believes you are unstoppable and is constantly asking things like: "Can Danny ride straight up that lampost?" "Can Danny ride on top of giant bramble bush?" "Can Danny cycle along a rope?" "Can Danny cycle along a zip line?". She has a child's faith that you can do absolutely anything on a bike. And after seeing that chain ride, who am I to burst her bubble.
Danny, I wanted to say, especially after watching this. That stair scene blew my mind. Since your first viral anything I know you can ride across anything, this and slabs show you can ride up and down anything too, also on one wheel haha
I remember the first day I even saw Danny ride in person with Martin Ashton at the London bike show 2010-11 cant remember what year, riding a Boris bike up the trial beams and doing J turns on the boris bike lol mad guy there's a video on RUclips somewhere haha
You guys should do a video with a Santa Cruz Stigmata gravel bike. You already did some scenes for "Road bike party" a few years ago, so you should do great.
I'm trying to learn how to ride backwards. I can barely pushbike (no feet) backwards 10 feet. Seeing these guys landing backwards then doing a trick going backwards - can't imagine the time it takes to get that good. And that's just one trick/skill. Although I did figure even Danny would have to do a lot of takes to nail that chain ride! Mad props!
I'm pretty sure the trick is consistency. Don't practice a TON on one day and then skip a bunch of days. Instead, practice a moderate amount every day and you'll see improvement. You brain works on stuff when you're not even thinking about it, especially when you sleep - and get enough of that. Incremental advancement comes, but with regular practice. I'm pretty sure this is why people practice a musical instrument 30 or 60 minutes every day instead of 4-6 hours once a week.

12 years ago I startet riding trials because of watching Dannys April2009 Video. Now I am 41, father of two kids and I still ride.
Love watching these BTS vids, the reactions of the crew and the passers-by make it really enjoyable.
Thank you for letting me take a picture with you and my mates
9:09 so proud of you guys for getting the parts and actually fixing the chain.
That chain line is insane. 🤟
Insane chain
Me: that 50 cm wide north shore looks scary!
Danny: lemme cross this wee chain...
The old lady: “Is he mad?” 🤣
Yes Danny! Still waiting for the roll down the wall of the waterpark
I always looked at riding one of those chains when I lived in blackpool but I never thought they’d take my weight... turns out I was correct 😂 fair play on getting it done though!!

Back in my day, the teachers at school made us ride along the chain if we were late for class.

The chain was insane Danny!! 🔥🔥
Actually, it was off the chain. XP

You guys are insanee !! In my opinion you're actually by far the best riders in the bike world !
Danny.... Is absolutely as good as it gets... not just as a rider but, as a person. Awesome seeing you get that chain ride. Incredible!

Chain crossing was epic. Incredible balance.
Soon as I seen the chain I thought of the Ryan leech crux segment. Glad he gave him the credit for that because that segment is still amazing 15 years later!

Missed danny. I play his videos in my cycle classes

I have an Echo trials bike but I can't quite get it. But I didn't start trying when I was five. I used to crash hard enough just riding down the road.
Come to Southport it’s just down the road it’s got a load of spots to ride
ryan leech brought the style. You made it yours again. Beautiful ! Thanks a lot for this behind the scene.
Very nice Video Dudes👍👏
Pure class fixing the chain. Good on ya's
This is amazing

amazing, what an excelent skill,

When you made that chain ride, man the feeling I experience on this side of the keyboard was amazing ... well done Danny and Team!
What are the tunes from this vid please 6:30 song playing?
Everyone: Tightrope looks so hard.
Danny: Hold my beer, there is a slack chain with my name on it.
Can anyone tell me what that railing is for at the side of the blue building looks like they fitted it and stood back and went oh !
I was filming up there myself last year..it actually looks pretty good.
Insane!!! If I only had that ability for one day of riding?
Nice leg work on the chain!!!
Bravo on repairing the minor damage you caused, heart warming!
My wish came true. Tip my hat to both of you.
Trop fort 💪🤘
old guy still rocking 🤘
Should have a lot more subscribers come on 🏴

Amazing skills
You'd better come back and ride down the Sandcastle!
I think I’ve watched this video 50 times
If I buy one of those bikes, will it give me the magical power to defy gravity? Amazing!!!
You can't buy one of those bikes, Santa Cruz custom make them for Danny.
@@scotti_wan_kenobi Damn! They must only include that magical anti-gravity dust in Danny's bike. Damn you Satan Cruz!!!!
@@thepom88 they put special balance grease in all the bearings too.
@@scotti_wan_kenobi Is that made by the anti-gravity fairies too? I need to capture me some of those fairies!!!
Sick!
Hi may I ask what handlebars is that? 😃
Is the big indoor park still there
How does one even make it onto the chain let alone ride all the way across??
