Sipping with Sharon: The "Jungle Canopy" - The Rainforest in a Glass [RECIPE]

Escape the Minnesotan humidity and enter the Amazonian humidity with this week's concoction that we've called "The Jungle Canopy." This riff on a Jungle Bird is a little bit sweet, little bit sour, and a teeny tiny bit salty on the back end. With a rum backbone, this cocktail will make you want to put the umbrella up, kick off the sandals, and listen to the breeze gently caress the canopy overhead.
INGREDIENTS:
► 1½ oz Gustoso Artisanal Dark Rum
► ¾ oz Cappelletti Aperitivo Rosso
► ½ oz
honey simple syrup
► 2 drops saline solution
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Add rum, Aperitivo, and honey simple syrup into a cocktail shaker.
2. Add 2 drops of saline solution.
3. Add ice & shake.
4. Strain into rocks glass.
