Nice surprise! Thanks for sharing this. As I understand it, the masts are coming next and the Tally Ho will be in the elements from now on! Cheers.

    The first time I visited Leo , the Tally Ho was in Sequim. I went there to donate a couple of things, and it never gets old seeing what gave in use. Then, a year and a half ago I went back give him some lead he needed to help keep the boat in trim. I've not seen it installed yet. I think the boat has to be sailing to figure out where to put it. There has been some beautiful progress since I was in Port Townsend.

    magnifique projet de reconstruction que je suis depuis plus de trois années . un seul regret ; le manque d'imagination concernant la propulsion mécanique . nous ne sommes plus à l'ère du moteur à explosion .

    • @jrabeux
      @jrabeux  Год назад

      D’accord avec vous au sujet de la propulsion mais il serait difficile d’installer un moteur électrique et de stocker l’énergie suffisante pour de longues navigations. Je crois que Léo a choisi un moteur hybride diesel électrique ce qui est déjà pas mal. En plus il serait difficile d’installer des panneaux solaires ou des éoliennes aériennes ou hydrauliques qui ne ruineraient pas le look du bateau
