Welcome to the Official Everton Football Club RUclips channel. We'll offer fans real insight into life at Goodison Park, USM Finch Farm and on the road with the Blues.
This is the moment I became an Everton fan. I was 14 at the time and apart from the european cup games this was pretty much the only match that was broadcast live on tv in Belgium. I can still feel the excitement of that day just thinking about it. Greetings from Belgium. Hope we stay up!
This too was the day I became an Everton fan. Watching on the TV, 4 days before my 10th birthday. What a game and what a club

FOR EVERTON 💙
One of the best days of my life. After battling all year against everyone, there was NO way we were gonna lose this final. The crowd were aggressive and intimidating and being at the tunnel end, we made the most if it. I was sat next to the tunnel and could look down on players milling about before the game and lets just say we were not friendly to anyone associated with United. They looked shellshocked well before kickoff. Big Dunc did his bit too and came out a few times to wind us all up well before the game. Amazing day.
How the heck did Stuart miss that! Thank God Rideout was there, excellent play by Limpar and Jackson. Great break.
Diamond knew what he was doing, always his intention to give Rideout an assist via the crossbar 😂
No diving, no rolling on the ground, just 22 men playing the game.
When football was just football not a political circus like it has now become
What I came here to say
Spot on, games been ruined by modern day shite
When you watch this back it's so obvious how football has changed, the referee allowing play to carry on when a couple of tackles go in, players getting up and not rolling around like they've been shot in the chest. You get to see a proper battles in midfield.
The game is an utter joke now
The game is too scrutinized now, the excitement of the moment has been lost for fans, the ridiculous VAR introduction is just another nail in the coffin.
Too much politics in football now too, when it was just about the game it was so much more exciting
Aye, let alone the 'backpass rule' whenever that came in, but not convinced it was a good or bad idea tbh
I was in a bar in Cyprus watching this. Me and my wife the only blues in a sea of red. I was having a piss when we scored so just my misses at the bar jumping up and down.
Looking at this makes me sad to see the players we had then, it wasn't about us having the best players, but more about the unbelievable work ethic every player gave.
I went cuckoo at the final whistle. Ran up the town (Lurgan Co. Armagh N.I.) to meet my da in the pub. Screaming at everyone on the way up the street that we'd just won the cup. I was 17 at the time, and still remember the mental elation i felt. Loved both teams, but blue blood always. Some amazing players on that pitch, both teams. Loved that Everton side. Limpar was unreal. Only eclipsed as a winger by Kanchelskis. Memory is everything ❤❤❤
My favorite club in england with Sheff wed. Forza Everton!
It was my 15th Birthday on this day. What a great Birthday present 💙

Even though I was a young 13 year old at the time I can still remember this day like it was yesterday so at least I am lucky enough to have seen us win something.
I cant believe that this was 25 years ago
How good was the old Wembley by the way? Captured the magic and days like this and the Euro 96 games really makes you miss it
I wonder if Paul Ince's poor pass that led to Everton's goal cemented his departure in Ferguson's mind.
I think Ince hints at it in a recent interview with Simon Jordan (early 2024). So, you guessed it a few years ago.
Still cheered watching this today nearly as much as I did when I was 7!
Gary Ablett haha "Alright To, see ya in after"
Great team. Thanks to you, I fell in love with football. I hope you do not stop there. I am not from England, so there may be errors in this comment.
This is how I wish the game was played today. No diving, ongoing complaints, arguing players and managers; just some strong players making strong tackles and clean plays. The referee didn’t have to do much because no one made a fuss when they were tackled hard. Sure, the skill level has improved over time, and I’m okay with that, but the politicking and the diving is just not what I came to this sport to watch.
Big Nev; world's number one goalkeeper.
Its been too long since I've had the feels from this day...COYB
These were the best days of football- the more technical game starting to emerge whilst it was still hard hitting
When the FA Cup final meant more than top 4 crap
I was at this game, and Andrew Ridgeley from Wham (he's a United fan) went to take his seat near us, but someone was already sitting there.
However, a steward pointed out that he had bought a forged ticket so had to sit on the stairs at the side of us!
Not a good day for him as we won!
Will never forget watching this classic match live was a great game with a brilliant result and in the old Wembley,I miss these Glorious days so much and it hurts even more to see us struggle these days to be fighting at the wrong end of the table, let's hope all goes well for the rest of the season 🤞
Gary Ablett! 💙
38:38 joke tackle, not even a foul but that's a straight red today.
Unsy didn't moan that's why. Tough as fuck. Love him

Everon til I die 💙
Brilliant day! A great performance too! Well deserved winners!
Warriors this team under Joe.
11 characters and leaders of men with Limpar bring a sprinkling of class to the party.
Big Joe should have been given more time and money.
The signings of Kanchelskis and Speed were inspired and you'd have to say Barmby too even though that one ended badly, was still a very good player for us
Saturday 20th May 1995
RESPECT from Palmeiras-Brazil.
Neville Southall an absolute mountain! ManU's sour faces!
Big Nev cool as you like, if this fella was an icecube he wouldn't even melt in the Sahara desert
Hincha del Everton hace más de 25 años, desde Argentina
Everton: wins the FA Cup
Southall: still looks like a grumpy old sod
Never change Nev, never change.
Funny thing is when you read his mind games book, he's quite a positive person now :D
Wonder would both sets of fans have swapped 1985 for 1995
Good point but no, 1995 for us was immense because that team and Big Joe in particular deserve to be cast in the clubs history.
We had a great 18 months between early 1995 and late 1996 under Joe, should have been built on but sadly wasn't.
Big ger dunc delighted to meet now king Charlie
Superb win by the mighty blues.
neville southall was awesome!!
40:42 - Rideout Goal
Sorry but I feel depressed watching that. I was 17. Now I'm 42 and I'm still waiting to see that again.
First cup final i ever saw was 1984. Yes i am a glory hunter.
You'll be 60 before Everton win another trophy
You may yet see Everton win a trophy but sadly, football and everything about it will never be like this again
The FA Cup was absolutely massive back then wasn't it.
Lost something when it left the Old Wembley for me.
Had my blue nose on in the London sub way.. The looks i got... Think the other passengers were more worried than me and my mate.. Wot a beautiful weekend
Defensively Everton played historically. Been a long time since I've seen a team play that aggressively from start to finish. Never actually saw this match before because I was in the states for quite a few years after my teens. For some strange reason I thought Amakachi and Big Dunc were the heroes of the match and Beardsley and Lampar had a fantastic match. Beardsley had left Everton 2 years before obviously. Seriously gaslighted myself. I don't know how I pegged that info as a memory. Oh well.
I'd forgotten that the breakaway Rideout goal came from a poor intercepted Paul Ince pass at the other end. I didn't remember Schmeichel giving Steve Bruce grief about the goal either.
This result cost me £50. I just missed out on winning my works score predictor game that season after predicting a draw at full time while the winner who was level on points with me before the match predicted the Everton win. He won £150, I won £100 so still not shabby.
It was poor from Ince. But looking back, not sure why Bruce shifted over to the middle as if he was a keeper. The Big Dane was right to have a word.
Was a diehard Utd fan so after this game I grabbed a tennis racket n ball and hit it against the wall for what felt like hours absolutely gutted!
I watched this at Thatto heath primary school whilst helping my other half run the school fete, what a day what a day and we were a zit away in the relegation area so the iceing was on the cake kids didn't see much of me that day lol 😀
Attendance for the 1995 FA Cup Final was 79,592 fans.
Man Utd were mincing about string aimless passes, outside 16 yards box. When Everton hit on the counter-attack.
I'd HAW SWAPPED IT FOR 85 OR 86
A long long time ago United came back a year later to win another double Everton………
1:52:47 the cup lift
I was outside on the bus stop cant we win something it's been 28 years noow lads fkinell
Awesome..I'm Liverpool born an bred...I was 22 .soon to be 51..... but if my local amature team beat the scum...I would celebrate...I was on an army base in catteric...top day...
You see Phil Neville and Brian mcclair and you k ow everton will win
Was Andy Cole injured for the match ?
He was cup-tied. Played for Newcastle in the competition earlier in the season.
Dunc going in for the headbutt on Charlie boy there
I still don't know what Bruce was doing for the goal
Hamstring had gone, don't think he could run to be honest and seemed to back Irwin to beat Rideout in the air which was never happening
40:50 the goal
Rielly and fizz
😂 don't understand why they took so long in making a change for Steve Bruce
Some though tackles going in. Not like today’s prima donnas. They would never be able to compete.
mais ou est CANTONA ,???
Hello
💙💙💙💙
Surprised 20 minutes of Fergie time wasn’t played, or at least until southall was beaten
1:47:10 full time

Sharp aside not much flair in that united team. A year early for Scholes and Beckham and for some reason Giggs on the bench
Giggs Kanchelskis and Cantona were all out, luckily for us
Giggs had lots of injury problems that season and his form was a bit hit and miss too. Andy Cole was also cup tied so three of their key attacking players weren’t able to play
29 years and counting 😂😂😂😂

Complete bore fest, how Everton won was just a fluke because after that goal neither side did anything. One of the worst teams to win an FA Cup, worst position for a Liverpool fan but better the Toffees won.

Ince's fault! Moast over rated player ever.
They called him prince of Wales 🤣🤣... stupid commentary, hes the king 👑🤣🤣🤣
