Excellent video demonstration. I like how you dissect your painting process and go over the details and talk about your brushwork technique. Thank you for sharing.
curious: are you perceiving the actual light as cool? ie cooler yellows and reds and blues and greens.. and shadows of almost zero light bouncing into them.. they are warmer in comparison to lit areas? im talking relative to the environment.. not cool as in blueish and warm as in yellow.. but the LIGHT itself.. isn't it cooler than the absence of light? I know this vid wasn't about that but I'm asking because different artists are teaching differently about the light itself. And I'm curious how you SEE it. Beacause I would say your leaves are cool greens and they are reflecting a lot of light so that seems right to me.. and your peachy pinks in the background are also reflecting a lot of light and to me those are cool pinks back there. I see light itself as cool. I am seeing that in this painting. Do you see what I see? THanks.
you have a presence about you that makes listening enjoyable. I have to come back and watch this later. thank you

Your brushwork is sooooo effective - very fresh and perfectly descriptive!
