The way Bonham hits the bass drum on Fool in the Rain, solos, then comes back to the strict rhythm is not something I can comprehend....no other could do this with one freaking foot. Sting you're lucky he didn't kick your face...standing in front of a hundred faces...
Andy Summers remembers the night he met Bonham: "I'd heard all these horror stories about him but he was fantastically enthusiastic about The Police." Not long after Zep won some music award, Bonzo accepted it on behalf of the band and told the audience it really should have been given to Led Cops.
Awesome these 2 great drummers meeting. Funny to think Stewart would be star struck since he is a very outgoing character. Ah well these rock stars can always surprise us!!!
Yea I've had that impression of him for a long time. He said once some years ago he'd give all his millions to charity and nothing to his kids. A real prick.

I thought Sting was phenomenal in Police…(never liked anything he’s done since). Don’t think I’d ever want to meet him… having watched some of his interviews, he strikes me as a pretentious prat who sees himself as some kind of guru.
Jason is just another great modern drummer who evolved his technique by copycatting pioneers like his father. In that regard a lot of modern drummers could be better than Bohnam, still they didn't invent jack shit.

Bonham would have F**ked Sting up... He almost f**ked around and almost found out. Good humor.
I think that Sting would drop "trou" to reveal his mighty hornet sting on his rock star bottom and then go to down stinging Bonham repeatedly.
if john bonham stepped on my shoe itd never take it off again

Imagine meeting so many famous musicians that you forget your encounter with John Bonham
Bonham would have mopped the floor with Sting, no contest.
John's drums always sounded great
Its a good thing John Bonham never took a swing at Sting because he would have given him a severe ass kicking.
If he ever pounded Sting the way he pounded on his drums,Sting would never make it to his old age
Bonham was a bricklayer before he was a drummer. If you think Sting would have taken him you are nuts.😂
Your pretty stupid

I just heard Jason’s bonham says he punched sting last nite in concert
Bonham's onimus Drum sound, was a Military way of turning the 🥁 They're used Pre Battle, to cause Fear!😮
What year was this?
They all are buddies.
Ron Bonham would have punched Thing into the next dimension.
He ASKED a question, not AXED.

thank you. I thought it was just me. Annoying AF
Must be a New Yawkuh. Det awk tawk stoopid like dat.
After reading some comments, I just want to say "where did the two bands rank" in music history?
The Police, far far far below Led Zeppelin, not even close at all.
@@sicotshit7068 Agreed. Zeppelin as well as Bonham are my favorite as I am a drummer. Just a question to the people.
Yeah Bobham was a bricklayer. He would have ruined Sting's face.
A guy that chose to call himself “Sting” was cocky? Hard to feature.
He didn't choose the nickname. It was given to him by one of his bandmates before he was in the Police.
As great a drummer as he was he was still a terrible alcoholic towards the end of his life and sometimes also violent.
He only got out of hand while on tour and missing home. He was never a violent drunk to his family and friends.

rearrange stings face , ah ha , Bonham #1. The proof is in the pudding,, the Sound!

the word is 'asked' not 'axed'
The narrator uses an “ask” to cut down trees!!!
Yea Sting always gets on my nerves too... his music is too clean!
"asked" = a-s-k-e-d not "axed". the hard "k" sound comes after the "s" sound.
I learned very little from this…😮 It actually made me like Sting less so yeah, thanks for nothing…
Ginger Bakers son is killer also.

"Asked", not "axed". Asked, asked, asked. Practice saying it until you get it right.
Jason is right. Stewart is a better drummer than Bonzo.
Well then there is little that police has done that is in the same league really.
Stewart in awe shock by meeting John, I seriously doubt that. Stewart held his own, in great shape and health up to now.
The Police ❤
Truth be known,Jason is far better than daddy!!
