*21* is a classic. Even Aretha Franklin said she LOVED every single track on the record. My favorite cut ended up being "One & Only" and the cover "Lovesong". Adele is a true MEGA-STAR. She'll be around for a long time. She's a timeless artist.
I remember vividly during that time in every single singing competetion we had someone singing an Adele song, learning piano, etc. Bring me back Side hustle: Turning Tables is probably my favorite Adele song of all timw
i was 10 when this album came out, i’ll never forget the impact that adele’s ‘21’ had. my fave tracks from the album are ‘rolling in the deep’ & ‘someone like you’.
Didn’t even stan her or know her by that year when the album release and yet the whole album is played EVERYWHERE and I even managed to remember the lyrics of some of the songs, it will forever remain one of the greatest work ever in music industry 🎉
Even beyond the massive commercial success of 21, its songwriting and performances were so damn good. Killer hooks, crisp production, incredible vocals, and no song that I would have left on the cutting room floor. And I think keeping the album concise, at only 11 tracks and 48 minutes, was important as well. This was before the streaming era had truly begun, so people were more willing to jam an album from front to back; the lack of tracklist bloat was a big plus
It's sad how the demonic music industry had to push Adele out, relegates Beyonce stardom and legacy, and retire Rihanna's dominance as the #1 selling Pop artist of the 21st century to overhype Taylor Swift 😑😑😑😑😑😔 No artist on the planet had album sales like Adele. I believe 21 and Usher's Confessions are the world's biggest selling albums of the 21st century. Shout out to Micheal Jackson's Thriller which is the World's biggest selling album of all time with nearly 200 million copies sold globally. Thriller is so massive that in 2006, Beyonce awarded Michael Jackson at the World Music Awards when the album had sold over 100 million copies globally at that point in time 😮😮😮😮
Boi just skipped over “Don’t You Remember” like it’s chopped liver. The song on the album that should’ve been the 6th and finale single but never did. Also true on “Set Fire to the Rain” that’s my favorite song of hers although I swear I remember there being a music video for it.
Thank you, as always, for your content. I always enjoy watching your videos. Would you consider doing one on Jazmine Sullivan?! She began her career around the same time as Adele, but never " matched" her international success. On a positive note, Jasmine finally received Grammys wins a few years ago. However, I still believe there should be more spotlight on her music.
the fact that 3 of the singles are ballads and each of 'em are good is so crazy to me, like not every artist can get away with that.
*All the Céline Dions and Mariah Carreys and Whitney Houstons of the world have left this chat*

Aretha saying that must be the biggest compliment an younger artist can get.
Was that the interview that spun the infamous "beautiful gowns" meme?
Actually she won't be around for much longer since she just said she's retiring for now. She doesn't seem to have passion for it anymore
@ she’s just taking a break, but she’ll be back
Her best album. And "30" deserved more as well.
One of the most iconic albums of the decade/21st century. A true modern classic

No gimmick, no controversy, no nudity just pure talent

😩💙
@@honestboy😂😂 Great video dude!
😂
I didn't even notice 😅
I wish Amy was still alive, and her legacy lives on. Adele’s first two albums definitely reminds me of her.
he wont go is so underrated

imagine if she's as chart obsessed as taylor swift
Oh dear lord, the smell of fan war 💀
this is so unnecessary, istg taylor has to have the most obsessed fans AND haters because why does her name have to be mentioned everywhere 😭
As we have seen play out irl, the quality of the music would suffer
I would really love to see her live ❤❤❤
Can you make a video about Halsey's new album "The Great Impersonator' please
