- My first backpacking trip of the season!! Many more to come. I’m glad I was able to get out there and solo camp in grizzly infested wilderness and not have any wildlife encounters.

Pretty good for a return to backpacking. Typical "disaster " stuff 😂. On east coast we're use to having bear cables or bear poles for hanging food. That was an epic campsite!
Disaster makes for a better story in the end! If everything went perfectly then it would be less memorable!
Enjoyed watching dude! Glad your tent didn’t get too far away from ya haha
Yeah if it would’ve gone in the river I probably would have hiked back up in the dark. Either that or death from mosquitoes haha
You had me at Pabst Blue Ribbon. 👍👍
It's so good!
haha the tent part was hilarious glad you got it before it hit the water lol
I definitely would have hiked back to the van if it went in the river hahaha
Fun I am following your example and moving my spent peanut butter jar away from my camp. Your great time adventure continues!
Hahaha if I were a bear I would devour that empty pb jar
After leaving Yellowstone with my family having met this guy twice who also owned an '85 Westfalia, it hit me like a bolt of lightning. That is why he looked so familiar to me!! That was the guy from the Alaska videos I watched last year! Sorry I didn't recognize you. As it was, I would have talked more but I know you were busy. Enjoy the journey! Maybe we will run into each other again sometime. Thanks for being out there.
It was nice meeting you and your family while you were in Yellowstone! Maybe our paths will cross again.
@6:17 - Blind snake is my guess. "Blind Snakes lay one to twenty round eggs each breeding season with the young looking after themselves. These snakes are non-venomous and harmless. They cannot bite and have limited defensive capabilities."
Looked like it had the same defense capabilities as a worm!
@@Sebastianstonum Ha...it sure did! Nice trip!
Tent Flys away*
Sebastian “Unfortunate”
Me “💀😂”
What els do you want me to say😂
if i may suggest. if you plan to do more of solo backpacking/camping/hiking into the wilderness. carry some form of SOS device like a garmin inreach or Zoleo or something. it might save your life or someones someday. Thanks for the videos. im a Vanagon fan. keep em coming. Take Care!
I definitely need to invest in a device like that, I’ve seen so many positive outcomes from emergency situations just from having a simple thing like that
Good I am glad you slept 12 hours. You must have been exhausted. How long did it take you to get back.
I was expecting to sleep all of 2 hours being paranoid about bears the whole night! Not long at all I got back before lunch
Looking your video one of family girl start hiking in Punjab, Khalistan ...
Anything is possible!
