😉
Vy vill vi dun
But you will not own it
I might
If I don’t own it. I’m not touching that thing
I think Homer Simpson invented this.
ultimate homeless survival kit
The little plant on top is what makes it.
It sold me on it. So cute
To all the haters... This man had a dream and followed it. I salute innovation and the spirit it took to bring an idea to realization. I wish you success

@@BoCaine I hate.
i think it has its own market for ppl that needs these so there is no need to hate it for nothing

@@progmetalJorge on what?
My hat goes off to the writers and director of this bit. Comedy gold. This level of production value in a RUclips skit is insane. Well done.
unless..... oh no
💀💀💀
I'm used to seeing comments like this regarding controversial subjects, but are we fact checking inventions now? Otherwise, what are you talking about? How is this a joke?
Am I going to have to make my own?
@Toothless Blues Boy Norman He's saying the invention is useless. Which it is.
@@Windows__2000 it crosses a lake, you can sleep in it and ride up to the store. If you’ve been to many campgrounds you know a lot of people would love it. Costs less than a typical boat or camper and takes the place of both without a need for a tow vehicle. Maybe you wouldn’t use it, but it’s far from useless.
$15,717.49 hard pass
The plant pot holder sealed the deal for me.
This is literally the real life version of Homer Simpon designed car lol.
I can't tell if this is serious or not and that makes it so much better.
Just in time for our dystopian post apocalyptic lifestyle.
I thought this is a joke
same
I would have laughed if it wasn't so poorly thought through and hideous and a waste of resources.
i can see some hippy going arcoss lake tahoe with a weed plant on top of that thing.
genius invention.
the plant sold it
this reminds me of that episode of the Simpsons where Homer designs a car....
I'd prefer an option for boat-mode to be pedal-powered.
Yeah that was a huge missed opportunity.
This looks like the car Homer Simpson designed.
That was exactly what I was thinking
Based
100%
I’ve never been so unsure if something was a joke or not. Can someone clarify? I consider myself to have a fairly good sense of humor. If this is a hoax, kudos to the creators for the level of elaboration!
It is a real product. I'm not sure it's really useable on the road, but it is a real thing you can buy.
Same mahn. Couldn't clarify if it was a joke or not
Was? It still is?
It actually seems to be real, there are other channels showing it. Though bicycle is a bit misleading, it has a license place Wich means it is actually a motorcycle. Wich makes sense, there is no way a small bicycle motor can lug this much weight around.
This is as puzzling as the balenciaga crocs, first you think it is an elaborate joke but as it goes on, you start to wonder if it is actually a thing... still not sure if this is a joke or not
Yea.
The boat aspect kinda makes it a laff tho. But a lot of effort either way.
I laughed too, but it is because I can't see I have enough power to get that thing up the mountain where I live. The air is super thin here, and regular biking takes a superhero. Maybe if you lived somewhere flat it would be far more effective.
@@MegaMeaty guess u guys should wait until the next model comes out it can fly
@@lizardman1303 Pay half a mil for a 20 minute ride? NOT I
I refuse to believe this isn't some kind of postmodern art project about environmentalism in late-state capitalism.
And that they missed the mark on all of it on principle?
We present you "The Homer "
The Videographer that built this video should also be getting a lot of credit. It is 🚀🚀🚀
Oh yeah! That's what I thought,too!
Top notch editing 💯
It is you, Cyrilou Vibez, am I right 😜
yes it woukd
I can’t figure out if this is for real or a joke. It’s certainly interesting.
It’s the plant, for me. 😂
I wasn’t going to buy it . But when I can take my favorite plant with me I was sold . But then I forgot I’m not rich to travel the world in bikeboathouse
4500€ base price is basically a normal e-bike these days
@@emilg918 no, it's about half that.
The perfect vehicle for families of exactly two people.
Why would anyone want more
Is this a Portlandia outtake?
Can't wait to use it once and leave it sitting in my garage.
that's probably all the use you'd get out of it before something breaks and you have to wait 6 months for replacement parts anyway
You won't get replacement, the company is gonna dissapear
You should do that with your car
Professional hobo vehicle.
This really combines the disadvantages of all vehicles in one package. Kind of an achievement i guess…
And adds a few new ones.... Dont be unfair.
This is the ultimate HipsterMobile. I'm surprised it didn't come with it's own vegan space.
It comes with a pot for your favorite plant
What convinced me this is a totally realistic and practical idea is the plant holder.
Helps you breathe fresh air
Probably the most unintendedly comical thing I have ever seen. Both the video and the dingus.
The pot had me...
I squinted my eyes and began to wonder if I was watching a real video.
This is a classic example of something I would never need. In many ways it would be more practical to have each part of this product separate. But, damn I want it anyways.
Looks like a good combo of functionality, however since there's a cabinet it would surely be better if there was a way to cycle inside the cabinet to protect from the elements e.g. rain. It would probably be more aerodynamic too!
If by "good" you mean it sucks at everything equally, yes.
@Daniel Paulson I had one 40 years ago that folded into pouch and went around your waist like a belt. Way more functional than this platypus like vehicle.
For 15000€ I would gladly stay at various SPAs more times than I would take this out if I actually owned it.
It’s an outrageously stupid invention.
Nobody will buy it
I know what plant I’m taking on my adventure
hmmmmmmmmmmmm
I’m thinking some type pf cactus
@@tuono2914 dude... he wasn't talking about a damn cactus....
@@SweetStat whooooosh.. lol (there’s other cool plants out there that make you feel funny)
Glorious Leader chinesium joe biden?
No... wait... that is a vegetable.
I don’t think this’ll be hugely successful, but words can’t express how much I love it.
I'm thinking it would be good as a hire type thing, close to a lake with some nice easy riding to some good spots/camping areas, almost like hiring a caravan that can go on water
The algorithm has brought us here today. Be thankful. Feel blessed.
I was like fuuuuuck this product till i seen that spot for your plant😯😍 sign me up!!
They look like a machine that should be called Portland Oregon
😂
ironically enough, this thing would be perfect for OR and WA, lots of lakes and bicycle infrastructure that would work.
You all joke, but this is what the millennial starter home looks like now.
For 17k a car camper kit might be better (though no aquatics aside from a canoe) but I'm sure there will be people who are buying this. It's still pretty cool.
The ultimate hipster mobile XD
Dutch people are going to love this when things start flooding due to global warming.
iwould die in this dingy for sure
Yea. We’ve been waiting since the 70s for global warming!!! When’s it gonna be here? 😩 I want it to happen so I’m confirmed as “not a sheeple”
the damn thing has a plant holder!
Wow I thought this was a joke but it's real😂👌
I love that design in style of Homer Simpson
@Ian Black Me too!
I still can’t work out if this is for real or some convoluted meme? 🤔🤔
It seems to be both. Potted plant on the roof? C'mon!
I would pay to see Jeremy Clarkson review this.
I imagine the Stig would be tasked with jumping it over 5 "normal" bikes
Plant pot is the best feature
i laughed pretty hard
Pot plant is better feature.
It's the best symptom of the crappy design philosophy. I doubt people will actually buy this at the scale they think. The 100 euro deposit for a 14k price point speaks volumes on their confidence.
You had me at “bring your favorite plant”.
I need more... call me when it's got wings.
Let’s see the cops get my one plant in the middle of the lake!
No way. A holder for your favorite plant?
I love that design quirk! Like the goofy flower holder on the New Beetle, or the umbrella handle gearshift on the old Citroen 2CV~
I can imagine ppl bringing pot.... i mean potted plant, officer...
I saw this on South Park. Mr. Garrison already invented it.
I'm so amazed he rode a bike through all that water to get to Japan and made it to Tokyo. I can't make it through water over 2 feet with a bike but he crossed an ocean.
Plant Pot is what sells it
The flower Pot made my day 🤣😂
Same people that bought a juicero will buy this too
This thing is so ridiculous that I want one. I've never realized I wanted a pet plant until 5 minutes ago. 😂
I'm 6'4" and I would be worried about being able to sleep in there.
Hi 6'4", I'm Dad!
@@antoniomv9444 did you finally get the milk?
You will have 7 cm free space.
But can it fly?
why yes ofcourse
Thought it was joke.
Me too! I kept waiting to hear "and live from New York, it's Saturday night!" or MAD TV or something. Especially when he mentioned the "take your favorite plant with you" part. lol
It's cool, but I think it still needs work.
The front looks like it creates a lot of drag. Could have made the internal space bigger and made it more aerodynamic at the same time by making it more triangular in the front.
I would have used fold out/down pontoons instead of inflatable ones. It seems like a pain to have to repeatedly inflate and deflate them.
It would be cool if the pedals could be switched between driving the front wheel and a propeller so you could pedal through water instead of relying on the motor.
I'd also be worried about the torque applied to the wheel hub using the oars.
Does it have feet for camping or does it rest on the hull or do you leave it on the wheels?
Does it come with an anchor?
I believe at such low speeds, the role of aerodynamics and hydrodynamics is so little that it is not worth optimizing it with rounded and complex shapes, at the same time losing extra internal space and increasing a complexity of mass production. I think this is the logic behind this design. Apart from that, I would also like see it as a rounded shape style classic transportation vehicle instead of such "cyberpunk" post-modernism style. It almost looks like some kind of high-tech gadget from futuristic movies than a road/ water transportation vehicle. Not judging, though. Just my opinion :)
Did you not see the aeroplant?!?
You guys should make one, let me know when you have
"Does it come with an anchor?"
FAQ on site says "yes, folding anchor"
when I'm homeless, this would be great to live in!
I'm glad I get to take my bonsai tree with me. Beyonzai has been lazing about too long.
I'd call it DORK. Deifnitely Original and Really Kool. ☺️☺️
Hmm I'll wait until it Flys
This has got to be the coolest thing I'll never buy!
Seams heavy and overengeneered... especially when you think how it started
Isn’t this Homer’s dream car?
this is the most European thing iv ever seen
No matter what I guess the determination and resilience it must take to actually build - and market - such an innovation deserves a huge respect
While I ‘can’ respect the design the true test of if it deserves my respect will be if it has any success/adoption; namely does anyone actually find it worthwhile to utilize all this incredible ‘utility’ they seem to have engineered… over preexisting solutions.
Not sure if Im just pessimistic but this seems like the typical project made by engineers for engineers that looks super cool on paper but when you put them into the real world they are the most impractical useless thing ever
I came up with a similar idea for a bed bike to give to the homeless. It would give them a bed to sleep in every night and allow them to park it and lock it in a parking space to go to work, grocery store or laundromat.
Z-Triton 3.0: helicopter mode!
Take to the skies!
Lol sign me up
The Homer!
Bravo
I admire the fact that you actually followed up on your vision. Props to you bro, a lot of people are not brave enough, like you, to actually turn their dreams into a reality!
I love how the whole thing looks so geometric and futuristic, and then there's a goofy little plant sticking out on top.
I dunno about magic night at a lake with that tiny boat bike thing
This is real? Not an S&L bit?
I'd prefer a van down by the river
Two people can comfortably sleep in it? I doubt that. But this is absolutely cool
I think if it was someone you liked a lot then it could be comfy.
@@1PotatoeMasher1 I’ve been married 5 years now and our king size bed is barely enough space to be comfy.
"A camel is a horse designed by committee."
Good. Now put a Hayabusa engine in it.
I'd love to test it on a downhill trail
I would want to test biking uphill before I commit 😩
This thing seems sooo much heavier than using a road bike and carrying a tent on panniers. You could event attach a fold up kayak in the panniers too. Interesting concept though.
Jeremy Clarkson needs to review this, PLEASE someone call him!!!
Perfect!
What vehicle class is this? Is it moped so has to go on 60kmh roads and goes 45kmh or is it an e-bike for on bicycle paths going 25kmh and being less than 55kg?
It’s a three-wheel electric moped (L2e in EU) and a small boat (according to the website)
F.A.Q says: "It classifies as a three-wheel electric moped (L2e in EU)"
This video was the best hype video for the craziest thing I have seen in a while. I also like how they are now BeTRITON..... Let's see a massive trip done in one!!!!
