Aww I feel your pain so much and hope you find somewhere great soon! I've recently got offered a job in Cardiff and have been house-share hunting via Spareroom. Only about 20% of people you message get back to you and I currently live 3 1/2 hours drive away so travelling to view as many as possible in a day or two is a logistical inconvenience, stressful and exhausting. omg this sounds like HELL, would you consider a short term let for 2-4 weeks in cardiff whilst you hunt? i think that’s what i’ll do in london come september if possible! commuting from my dads for viewings would be 2+ hours to get there 😩

Last week I booked a hotel for 2 nights so I could view as many as possible. Like you mentioned it's also that time of year which mainly seems to be geared towards lots of student rooms so that doesn't help. Really hope you get somewhere sorted and can settle in quickly 🤞🏻
During this summer, I bought fresh mushrooms for the first time and they are so much better than canned! They are more expensive here, but so worth the price. Mushrooms on toast with scrambled tofu has been my favourite breakfast this summer. Thank you for always making these videos. I've found so many new favourite foods from them! 🥰 Also, that pineapple tofu rice thingy looks amazing!

During the pandemic I had to move back to my parents house (in a different country) and I understand it can feel like a failure especially at this age, but I've started to realise it's just a chapter and temporary situation. I think I will actually miss spending all this time with them 😅. Your videos have really helped to keep me motivated and you seem such a genuinely nice person. Hope you manage to find the perfect place to live in London soon!
Hey I feel you about the flat hunting stress ☹️ have you thought about looking in zones 5-6, you can get a studio/small flat for the price your looking at so you don’t need to share? For house shares you can get rooms for £500ish so your save a lot that way, and they are pretty close to stations for commuting.
I just love living in the middle of things and spending more time walking than on trains ... but I might start taking a look and considering a further out zone!

Flat hunting advise: I also live in London and what I've learned, after a ROCKY process of finding a flat, is that you'll most likely get a room if you increase the initial price. It is so competitive the market that the landlords let the candidates increase the price and the choose the better. So I'd say, try and find a cute room for a decent price that you could increase, and if it's in a new and different area (as long as it's relatively close to the center and safe and cool etc), go for it! London has so much to offer but change can also be super positive! Good luck, love your vlogs❤️
sadly i'd increase it up to £100/£200. BUT! don't loose hope! there are really cute places in zone 2. Try your hardest on spareroom or zoopla to find something cute and you'll find it. you have to put your offer STRAIGHT AWAY. and be very flexible in regards to the move in date. it's hell atm, but you'll find something!!💞💞
