    Recipe and ingredients:
    200 ml warm water.
    1 teaspoon salt.
    Mix well.
Add 150 grams of flour and mix.
Add another 150 grams of flour and knead the dough.
The dough should be a little sticky.
Cover the dough for 10 minutes.
Grate 100 grams of gouda cheese or any other cheese of your choice.
Divide the dough into 4 parts.
    Make 4 balls.
Cover the dough so it doesn't dry out.
Roll out the dough very thin.
    Melt 100 grams of butter.
    Brush the dough with butter.
    Add grated cheese.
    Add some sesame seeds.
Roll the dough into a roll.
Roll out the flatbread to 18 cm in diameter.
    Grease the skillet with butter.
    Cook over medium heat.
Brush the top of the flatbread with butter.
Flip over to the other side from time to time until golden brown.
Now the cheese mini bread is ready.

I'm from southern part of India. We call this as "Parotta". We usually eat this Parotta with chicken or mutton or egg gravy or mixed vegetables gravy. If you made this with wheat flour it is called as Chapathi. If it is stuffed with cauliflower or potato any vegetables we call it as paratha e.g. aloo paratha if it is stuffed with potatoes. U can try to taste many Indian traditional dishes. It would be very tatsy to eat. 😇☺️

I'm from Saudi Arabia, and I've eaten a bread similar to this, minus the cheese, my entire life. It's called 'feteer meshaltet' which is a famous kind of Egyptian pastry that has roots since the pharoahs, and which centuries later inspired the French croissant. I'm watching from the Netherlands, but I'm half Cantonese. My grandma, who is Chinese, makes a similar flatbread from the dough leftovers from when she makes dumplings, "wor tip" as we call dumplings in Cantonese.
she makes those flatbreads with sesame seeds most often but sometimes with leek or with cheese as well.
we call the flat bread something like "pop-pain" (idk how you'd actually write it in Pinyi) but I just googled it and it's called Shanghai Scallion Flatbread.

Hello, I am in the USA. My mother used to make a bread similar to this. Minus the cheesy layers. She called it a fried flat bread. She would add a small amount of corn meal to the mixture. When she cooked her recipe she used pork grease from her fried bacon to cook it in instead of butter. I am going to try your recipe it looks so much more tastefully than my moms. (Sorry mom.)

@@tawntawn2192 Hi Tawn, I made it with plain all purpose flour. Don’t be afraid to keep adding a dusting of flour when you trying to make this dough if it seems too sticky. Be patient - it is beautifully demonstrated. I make recipes from RUclips bakers all the time. Occasionally I adjust the baking temperature if I make it a second time or more. This recipe doesn’t need any yeast - so you are in the clear there. Give it a go. Have your favorite cheese shredded and the butter melted during the time that the dough is “resting”.

    Hi I am from India
it is similar to Indian dish name called Lachha(Loop in English) Paratha which is made from Wheat Flour instead of all purpose flour sometimes street vendors mixed some tiny bit of all purpose flour for getting some elasticity in Paratha with Wheat flour and filled mash masala(spices) potatoes, peas, onion, garlic filling in it instead of cheese and used Ghee( Indian Clarified Butter) instead of normal Butter to make it.

Lachha Paratha is just Wheat flour flat bread with spicy potatoes, onion, peas, garlic filling in it just like it showed in this video
Samosas are purely made out of all purpose flour instead of flat bread they are made in cone shape and are filled with more spices, potatoes and peas in it
and then deep fried in a huge pot of oil in medium - low flame for atleast an hour

It is convenient, took 2-3 raw flat breads and fried immediately before use. 😊If you have fried all the tortillas, the leftovers are normally stored for 3-4 days in the refrigerator, on the 5th day it will already be food for the birds in the park! 😀

This is Katmer, and I'm from Turkiye. My granny makes it with opium poppy for special occasions. And I want to make it too. Thanks for recipe. When I were watching grandma it all seems like magick and all that handbraiding and experience of years it rapidly flew away even in my focus. Now I can focus and record ingredients and their amount carefully. Now she is very old and cant make it anylonger, if I make some myself, she'd be delightful

Lots of well wishes from Pakistan. In Pakistan we call this paratha, it's the most loved breakfast, and tea time snack. Made with pure butter,or stuffed with potatoes, cauliflower,or minced meat, seasoned with spices served with yoghurt ( with herbs and spices)!. This kind of paratha can be made sweet as well.
    Thanks for sharing!

Thank you very much for the detailed recommendations, it is very important for me! 🤩 I was interested in the option with cauliflower, do you pre-boil it or just finely chop it?

That’s a wonderfully delicious vegetarian recipe. We call them lacchaa parathaa (layered flat bread) in India. Now tell me how do you serve it? Here in India it is served with a vegetable and plenty of salads. May I suggest that to make it more healthy use whole wheat flour.

Hi, I eat this with chicken curry sauce or hot chili sauce with meat and salad! You can mix 25% whole wheat flour and 75% wheat flour, then the dough will be delicious. 😍 I don't like the taste of the parathaa, if you use 100% whole grain flour, it turns out to be hard on the stomach and not tasty! 🤠 Thanks for the comment!

@@FastEasyRecipes I guess as Indians we are used to eating whole wheat flour from childhood.

Sorry friends, I'm from Europe and I'm not a vegetarian, I'm sure you know better how to eat it. I just offered my version, I hope you get the recipe if you want to do it! 😊

No one has criticized the fact that this recipe is not vegetarian. Living in Europe does not mean that everyone eats meat/fish, nor does it mean that no meat/fish is eaten in India. Even the Hindus in India often do not eat vegetarian.
I myself am going to cook this recipe with vegetarian cheese, which can be bought in the supermarket in the Netherlands. Make a chickpea curry with spinach to serve with this delicious looking flatbread.
      Thank you for the recipe.

I've been looking for a quick and easy recipe to cook with my 19yo daughter. I have chronic pain and fatigue so struggle to cook. This is perfect to make with her. I can do the easy parts and she can do the others.
