The only difference is, naan is heated on the reversed pot in restaurants in India

In India, we call this as Kulcha. It is prepared in the same way & consumed with white chickpeas curry 🍛. It tastes fabulous. 😋 Best combination ever.
No, the best combination is reshmi kebab and khulcha! Cchole goes well with batora.
This is a Turkish food.
@Terken Turkish didn't invent this. It might be popular staple among Turkish people or be one of many ways to make a bread. Flatbread/roti is made all over the world, and there are wide varieties of flatbreads. The ingredients are so basic, u can't call this Turkish or credit it a single country.
Sounds great, do you mean chole 😃?
In morocco we call this bread betbout

Yep, until in France somebody will not propose to you, Indian, a cow or legs of frogs, or snails. What about dogs from Koreans? Brains of our little brothers popular in few African countries? Or what about overrotten (sic!) seals with overrotten birds/fish inside, which transformed into pure juice with incredible scary smell popular on north of Russia? 😂
Music is universal language, definitely not food.
no it does not. keep your nasty filthy food away from us.
And many wars were fought over food. It certainly isn't the universal language for uniting.
And music certainly isn't either. What is music to ones ear, is awful to another.
Some say violence is the universal language everyone understands, but to some they think it is love. Domestic violence for example.
But yet, humans will resort to this language if everything else failed. So, in ways...
Sigh.

I just made this tonight and the result was perfect. I made only half the recipe since this was my first time doing it. For those in the USA my measurements were 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup yogurt, 3/4 cup water, 1 teaspoon salt, a little less than 1 teaspoon baking powder. Remember this is for HALF the recipe in the video, so double those measurements if you want more. My first one did not puff up but I realized it's because my pan was not hot enough so be patient and make sure the pan has heated before you cook them. Sometimes just flipping them would encourage them to puff up. Great, easy recipe. Will use frequently. Thank you!
May I ask is it all purpose flour or bread flour? Thankyou!

Looks delicious and very simple. Do you let the dough rest when you cover it? Or do you right away start rolling it with the rolling pin?
Made these. Delicious and tasty. Thank you for the recipe 😊. I add 1 tsp Chia seeds to dough for added fiber and nutrients. No difference in taste or texture. Be sure to soak seeds for 15 min before adding to dough so as not to dry out bread. Beautiful presentation of how to bake breads and rolls. Thank you 😊

Wow, I’m going to love making this. Thanks for making this recipe available.
Очень простой рецепт,обязательно сделаю,я из России. Благодарю.
I just made this bread, with rough estimates to half the recipe. Ran out of white flour and used wheat to sprinkle on the counter. The dough didn’t need to rise. Just made the dough and cooked it in the pan right away. The thinner you roll it out, the better. Although you keep it thick, it is also delicious, just make sure to cook it through. Make sure the pan is very hot before you put the dough on it. My halved recipe made four large round pieces of bread which our kids and I promptly ate. It is so good fresh out of the pan. Add a bit more salt to the recipe and douse in butter before you eat. It’s so delicious
If u roll it out to be very thin, it becomes a roti! That is an Indian flatbread ( it does not necessarily use yogurt though)

We make "Naan" like this in India but they are thinner and bigger in size. Also, a healthier option is to use Whole Wheat flour instead of All Purpose flour.
Various stuffings can be used, such as spicy boiled mashed potato mixture, seasoned Onions and Garlic mixture, or garnish one side of the bread with freshly chopped green Coriander and Kalonji (Onion) Seeds or Seasme Seeds. Each variety has a distinct flavor and taste. It is usually served with Paneer Curry, Red Bean (Rajma) Curry, spicey Chic Peas or Potato Curry, and Raitaa ... a side dish made of Cucumbers, Onions and Tomatoes with yogurt.
Yes..true..this is very usual in our country

Thanks for sharing! The bread technically is still leavened though not with yeast, because you used baking powder, which is what gives it the rise you showed in the video. It creates or traps gas and makes it light and fluffy. Without it in your recipe it would be dense. However, there are other ingredients that can give the same effect. This is similar to naan from India and somewhat roti (but bigger from the Caribbean) and somewhat like tortilla. Each country has their own twist but almost has the same base ingredients 😉
Место разрыхлителя соду добавь ,а если в духовку поставить очень вкусным будет.каждый день готовлю.
So instead of baking powder , what can we use ?
Btw, roti is also Indian. If anything roti is originally Indian while the concept of naan came to India from somewhere else.
Can’t do yeast bread in ten minutes though.

@@krunalpatel9811 but she didn't add garlic to the butter.. So it can't be garlic Naan 😜
She’s introducing Turkish bread which is similar to a tandoori roti or naan made on an open flame tava/frying pan. The ingredients and methods are similar but they aren’t the same.
