I have been caring a Kubotan keychain on me since the 80's. In fact, it is the same one and it is made of wood. I have made metal ones and wooden ones but always have had my very first one with me. Most people only see a bulky wooden key chain. I carry it everywhere, even in places that forbid weapons. In fact, I had it on me during a visit with a Presidential Canidate, even the guards and police protecting a presidential candidate didn't get alarmed. I put it in the tray at the metal detector and they briefly looked at it and handed it back to me. And in I walked. As far as gun permit, I have one, we all do it is called the Constitution.

Oh, my gosh, Massad!!!! I was introduced to him and his articles when I subscribed to Backwoods Home magazine a few years ago. Good to see you're acquainted!! I still am subscribed and he still writes. I have a kubatan from Damsels in Defense, also have the largest taser they offer, and pepper spray which shots 20 feet. Good for use when you're on hiking trails. I have a kubatan with a pointed metal point on one end to be especially effective on someone's noggin, and also for breaking out a car window. It's illegal in my state. Our family all carry and have their 'concealed', even the ladies, and have been trained, and take turns on the security team for their church, but carry on the job and around town, too. The 'world' is getting much more unpredictable and we carry always, now and in all vehicles, too. It's come in pretty handy for my family's security. Excellent video!

I probably read every article Massad Ayoob wrote in Guns and Ammo magazine back in the '80's. He's responsible for most of my knowledge about firearms.

Hahaha - Herrick - we are of an age where the last 20 seconds brought back good memories of my "Kung Fu fighting!" Don't forget to take that Kubotan off before subjecting yourself to the TSA - ask me how I know. Thanks for posting another great video.

I’ve never used Bondo before but I thought I might try using a ziplock bag to mix in and then snip the corner and squirt the Bondo into the pipe. Thanks for the info and especially the pipe cutter recommendation.

Worth a try. 👍 Another commenter here wondered about using Durhams water putty. It's a plaster-based product. I'm going to try using Durabond 90, another very hard plaster product.

You've still got Bangs. Thanks. I inherited garage stuff from three guys and am still figuring out what all the tools are.

Inherited garage stuff? From three guys? I'm experiencing some envy now. 🙂

Use a 71/2” Length (proximity) of small chain with elongated links -- leave halve a link exposed on both ends - one for the keys the other as a striker - Bad to the bone 😮

Would Durhams water putty be an alternative filler for this project? Thanks for your videos, I have learned a lot. I like the variety.

Durhams "Rock Hard" water putty is something I see at estate sales often. But I leave it. I remember using that stuff many years ago. It's worth experimenting with if you have it on hand. It will probably work very well. You have me wondering if some Durabond 90 (which I have lots of) will also work. I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for the comment.

i'm glad it got harder, when i got my first gun, it was WAY too easy.... 2nd time it was reasonable, lots of people I've shot next to should not have a gun. Safety classes should be REQUIRED. I took mine when I was 13 WAY WAY way before I ever owned a gun. I was always on shooting teams when I was little. NRA is a joke, they are in the pockets of politicians and the gun industry, they could easily be doing good things, I was a member when I was on shooting teams, but dropped the membership due to their foolishness. Good Video as usual.
