2.5 USD is surprisingly very cheap even by Indian standards considering that it is in a metro / major city of India. Even tier 2 -3 cities and towns in India have prices more expensive than that. And yes, almost everything in India can be done by apps and mobile phones. Everywhere even in small rural villages. Not having those things with you would rather be surprising if you are in India. Plus who takes a paper cinema ticket after all in 2024 ?

Glad to see that the cinema is still affordable for all in this country, as it has become sometimes a luxury in some others. For sure India is much more advanced in regard to apps used for every purpose, it is just a bit inconvenient when you are not a local and can't register easily to some of them, especially for quick payments. But somehow, it's manageable.

Must be expensive if it is near any IT offices, may ask how much it is costing per month.

It is not exactly in an IT district, unlike the eastern part of Bangalore from what I understood with lot of gated communities or condo. The building I mention seems to be the only one in the middle of a very residential area. From what I visited; rents could range from 40k-45K INR for 800sq/900sqf but usually unfurnished. Lucky exception in our case. But it could really vary from a street to another

This is in Maruthi Sevanagar. Quiet but not too far (by vehicle) from more animated districts
