TRQ Struts are made to fit your vehicle exactly, just like the original part. Struts can wear out as early as 50,000 miles. You should inspect them regularly for leaks or wear. Save time, money, and hassle by replacing an entire strut assembly. This video shows you how to install new reliable TRQ struts in your 2002-06 Toyota Camry.

Do you ship orders to Papua New Guinea?
Do NOT use vice grips. There is a metric Allen wrench you can place in the middle of the nut to prevent it from moving. Using grips could strip the threads.
This is by far the best video for this repair I have watched . I feel more comfortable doing this on my own Thanks for your help and demo.
Wow, that was a clean, crisp presentation. Well done!
Thank you! I ordered the TRQ strut assemblies for both the front and rear and they are OEM quality. They work great! And this video helped a lot too!

I use 20v DeWalt half inch drive impact , being a mechanic for 48 years once batt. operated tools came out that's all I used and still do . No need to have a compressor at my house !
Impact gun pulled the sway bar nut off without any problem. Nice video.
The most recent estimate I got on the Internet for doing the rear struts on a 2003 Toyota Avalon XLS was $613.15. Good video too.
Y'all always have the best videos. Watch them for countless vehicles I've worked on
Do both side struts before reinstalling the seat parts. Great informative video;
Fantastic video, direct & to the point, and very informative. Going to tackle this in the next few weeks, Thank you for posting , job well done !
Another video had you take out the whole back seat and the speaker covers and stuff. thanks for your video showing the easier way.
+@Nolano386 Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Excellent...great camera work, great lighting, great instructions and I could understand every word you said. A+++
Great video on rear struts. Perfect !
Very well done! I appreciate your help!
Awesome video all the way to showing how to put the wheel back on! Nice nice nice you rarely see this type of video
Do I have to do the alignment after I change all struts
Great video! And, thank you for the torque values.
Outstanding video! I can do this job now!
Really good video. Thanks!
Perfect video(good craftsmanship
great video. i watched then went out and did my car today. A few things: Allen wrench instead of pliers on sway bar bolt, definitely use a center punch or the like to get big knuckle bolts out once nut is off, when replacing use an 3" extension in the hole to line up strut if you cant knuckle bolt back in, the furthest back bolt on top of the strut has very limited space: make sure you have a tool that'll fit
Very nice tutorial, its help me a lot, thanks.
Thanks that's going to be easy to do.
Good tutorial!
Excellent, tutorial!!!
Excellent!
Thank you
Thx for the vid! Do you recommend replacing anything else when doing this?
Thanks!
Why not just stick a screwdriver through the bottom strut hole and then un bolt the top. Would it still fall?
Lord Bless the Folk that have the Know how to Work on Cars….
Thanks helpful video
+RIGHTEOUS 1 Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Now do the passenger side strut and show how difficult it is to change!
I have the same exact 2 locking piers you tried in the beginning 🤣
These parts are listed in the description as 2002 Toyota, but in the hyperlink above, its goes to 2004. Will these still fit properly?
Uma peça dessa 2006 cabe no 2005 ?
So, apparently there was a Lock, to the Backseat in the Trunk. Someone gave me this Car , so I know very little about it. I am now destroying my LR Seat. Other than that, thank you for the Video.
is that the stock height of toyota camry?
Thank you, my 2005 Camry has disk brakes on the rear, does that make any difference to what is shown in the video?
no, same basic install
would you need an alignment after replacing the struts?
Yes
Hmm, this wasn't so bad... I think I can do this and save $1000 of quoted labour. I may take it in for an alignment, though.
Just don't use Chrome sockets with an impact 😉
How long does it take
+Jennifer Scott We do not have an estimated timeframe on the repair.
At 8:13 it should be 133 ft-lbs not 188 ft-lbs
Tighter the better. Besides. How many tunes will you change the struts? U less they're total trash
Yeah, but keep in mind that this repair job on this car is not completely rusted out, nore or the old struts
No offense man, but it looks like a couple of the lug nuts were beyond the torque wrench setting just from the impact. I get that you're saving time by running them down - but at least do a good job for the camera.
Yeeah.. this is pretty difficult I'm just going to go to a mechanic
