    Hi, i´m using the 5.9 version but i can´t find the hand icon in the top bar. Any clues?

      I would check to make sure that you are indeed running 5.9. Go to Preferences-->About, and the version should be evident in that first window that pops up. If that checks out, I would completely uninstall and then reinstall a fresh download, and check the same. If you still can't see it then, I would go over to discuss.pixls.us to post your question over there. Be sure and let them know your operating system. Good luck, and let me know how it turns out. Thanks for watching and for checking in.

    Not related, but what is your preferred open source video editor, if any, for youtube videos, amateur fiction films etc - 4 or 8K. Seeing as you seem to have a lucid and enjoyable take on photo editing, I thought it worth asking. Thanks!

      Personally, I use Shotcut. It has everything I need, plus a lot that I never use. It goes at least 4k, but I'm not sure about 8k. It's actively developed and updates come out several times each year.

      @@FOSSeditsThanks that helps. It’s already an option of mine.

    In your example photo, can you use a hue mask to select the leaf only within the local adjustment rectangle? If yes then Local Adjustment can be really useful to restrict the mask to only the bottom leaf and not the orange blob at the top in the background.

    • @FOSSedits
      @FOSSedits  10 месяцев назад

      No. The hue mask doesn't have the same edit options as Local Adjustments. And this is a reminder that I should have removed that blob while I was there. 😏
