When I "scanned" my negative films and reversed it without any color correction a lot of stuff that is supposed to be a deep red (like a shirt for example) turned pink. What can I do about it?

Are there a lot of upsides compared to using Lightroom Classic?

For film scanning conversion? I've never used LRC for this purpose, so I can't speak to that application. However, it only costs some time and effort to see if RawTherapee will work for you. I made the switch about 5 years ago and I can't imagine going back now.
