Dang how TBN has just stepped up every DIY tiny boat builders game. Thanks to all of you of TBN. With all of TBN and the content I have been able to build and modify my Lowe 16ft with center console to it looks like a Pro's boat with the wrap and all decals and DIY power poles and bottom line thank you guys for sparking me to build the boat of my needs
To all the thumbs down, you obviously cant appreciate creativity..The fact the he took the time to list the components used is super Nice, thanks for the video..P.S New Subscriber!💪
Hey man, id be real worried if I had all thumbs up. For some people that thumbs down makes them feel good about themselves...like trying to piss on someone else's success. All good man, i appreciate the love!
I did something like this, not as fancy tho, to my 16' jon boat 21 years ago and you've just provided a ton of new ideas for my redo of it. Cool build! I made 1" tall + and - for my battery out of white reflective vinyl lettering material and stuck them on top of the battery. Removes any possible confusion charging the battery in the boat, in the dark and helps with putting battery on trickle charge throughout the winter too. Thanks for the inspiration!
I think I've watched these videos a countless number of times now... just an all around badass set up.. your attention to detail along with your carpentry skills gave me tons of ideas for mine, and a bit more of a push to make sure I give my best attempt to keep things neat and tidy, especially the little details. Said it already, still think its easily one of the best builds on here... stoked for the next one.. Cheers brother, now get that rig in the water!
Thanks for the kind words man. Glad its helped you , I love hearing that. That's really what its all about for me, pushing the scene. It will be in water as soon as my footage for the reveal video is complete. At this moment I will be having someone else film and edit it for it to hopefully be a better quality video than my normal stuff. I feel the boat deserves that. I'd hate to take it out and God forbid sink it before the final video was shot. Been a long road to get to this point what a few more weeks?
Man this is incredible. I’ve been working on giving my job a makeover all summer and I just took an old rusty trailer and and restored it to looking brand new. I even already talked to my wife about painting the shark face on the sides like that before I knew this video even existed. I thought I was almost done with mine and now I see that the options are endless! You’ve given me a lot of inspiration. Super sweet boat man!
About 20 seconds in you had me, I'm sub'd. Amazingly sick boat! Super clean design and a flawless build. You did a perfect job explaining literally EVERYTHING! Thank you so much!
So started watching these vids about a month or two ago have now bought a 13' dory and you have given me so much inspiration for the grp heap :) keep it up bud
Thanks man! Glad your getting into it, it's a lot of fun. It's a creative outlet for me but also rewarding to be able to use upon completion! Good luck w it.
Crazy build, wish I had the money to make mine this nice. Great work, some would say over kill. I’d say a huge boat is overkill, this boat is much more versatile and does it all. Much respect
Heads up, if you are on Lake Sinclair/Oconee, make sure those lights are legal at night. Got me a $125 ticket for not being USCG approved out there one night in Putnam Co. Great job on the boat, you have transformed that jon boat something fierce.
Thanks man! Oconee is a bit too Top Shelf for me, lol. Went down once and got a ticket for being a life jacket short. Got pulled by Cuscawilla golf club, meanwhile drunks are flying by doing 80 in wake boats blasting music and im getting a ticket trying to fish in a jon boat. What you say doesn't surprise me. I've been considering changing to a new set up, may redesign some things up front over the winter and adda trolling motor. If so I'll change the lights then. Thanks cuz
Man luv your boat, great thought process, everything is 100% top notch quality workmanship. You sold me on your video, subscribed and looking forward to all the videos you have made. Awesome job Mr. Jones.
Thanks man! I have a lot of content coming this year I am very excited about! This year should definitely be a step up from last years content and builds. Stay tuned!
Cousin Those lights are sweet! love the flip up light bar, and your choice of location of the under deck lighting. Shits tight! Fit and finish of a pro!
This is the baddest tiny boat in Georgia! Awesome work there sir Jones! Love everything you did man! Can't wait for #2! You have inspired me with my build and I am finally working on electrical. Thanks for all the videos you have put together, top notch my friend!
Wow that's some setup. Precisely everything I'm looking to do with my 14' Springbok. Can't wait to run through the videos and check out your installs. Nice work!
Very inspiring videos! I've seen a few conversion videos, but didn't really like the direction they took, but this is very much my kind of boat set up right here! Very nice job! I have a 14' 1968 Ouachita jon boat with a 1975 15 horse Evinrude that I want to build to match the 1969 Chevy C10 I'm currently building as well...I love your use of space for stowage & the space you left as well, you didn't make the whole thing a casting deck full of hatches...very well done here! I'm gonna model my electronics after this one, but with a few other features...Very nice job!
@@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats Your carpet is so nice, You will have to wear some house slippers on your boat!! Those charging ports will come in handy, I love the volt monitor too!
Have to say, best jon boat Ive seen so far amigo! I like the open area in the middle. I had a 1972 Monarch. Was wanting to do very similar buildout. Ended up selling it to someone after getting a 17' Nitro 700lx. Actually miss my jon boat, if I get another, I will def use your vids to help me build it out!
Anthony you may want to think about adding a switch to the underside of your light bar hatch so that when it’s closed the light can’t come on until the hatch is opened just a suggestion very nice job buddy
Anthony I must say that’s great craftsmanship. I mean great material you used and excellent execution on the switch panels down to the floor boards imagination at its best. I’m glad this came up in my suggestions. I envy great builds like this and can’t wait to see your next build. I subbed just cause you put heart into this great job! God Bless
Thank you for the kind comment and appreciate you subbing. I am looking forward to the next build as well, it should definitely be interesting! Also full reveal video coming up next to wrap up this boat build. Stay tuned.
Anthony Jones I am also in Ga, north atl. I have a 1436 tracker with a mud motor i go up the Chattahoochee and Etowah... well i was doing that as of last year... have not had a chance with this stupid virus this year yet!!!
New sub here! That is one absolutely awesome jon boat to bass boat conversion! Love the paint job and the l.e.d. lighting that was used all thru-out the boat! Absolutely amazing my man! Keep up the great work and can’t wait for the next video brotha! 🐟🎣
Awesome build man definately gave me some ideas, just note 10.9v is near dead battery(10.5v), shouldn't let it get that low, it will shorten the amount of charging cycles of the battery. Should keep it above 11.5v. :) keep up the awesome work!!
Thank you! I had a masterplan to do all sorts of night fishing! Guess what? Never happened...lol. Only used the night lights a hand full of times in the past few years.
That front lightbar would be pretty cool if you had a little glass bottom for it to shine directly into the water. It would be difficult for sure but if you can do all this I think you can figure out how flex seal did the screen door trick. I’m tired so this probably doesn’t make sense. If it doesn’t reply and I’ll explain better.
Yeah man, my channel documents the full build in how to videos . My most recent video is a full walk through of the finished boat. I am currently building a second boat on my channel which is a 12 footer.
If you mean closed cell foam, it's in the middle bench, under all floor panels, side panels, under rear stows and livewell, everywhere I could put it. Misconception that it makes the boat float, a boat can float with no foam at all but if you ever take on water the more foam you have the better to stay afloat longer and not sink. Also the foam insulates and dampens noise inside hull.
Any plans to do a bowmount? If so, with your rear mount, just build a bracket for the bow and turn the head around. That way you're not buying two motors. Bad ass build man, true inspiration.
Man long story short the jon boat and trailer was a wedding gift from my dad to take my wife out fishing in. After about a year I decided I wanted to do some work to it and my wife didn't want me to put fishing stuff all over it. I actually have a motor guide, but I told her if shed let me deck it out I'd leave the front deck open for her to lay on. So basically as dumb as it is, that's why. Boat two will one hopefully unless it's too sketchy for a 10 footer.
bro that boat looks phenomenal .. the color scheme.. the carpet is perfection. the layout.. everything is amazing.. You could make your own boat company.. you get the donor boat that your customer wants, then pimp it out and sell it.. idk maybe you get 4 boats customize them and sell them.. put your name on it... but seriously what a nice boat.. how much would you sell it for? by its self, / with trailer
The 21 thumbs down are haters
How much would you charge me to modify my boat like this
Retard Strength No They don’t like it because they can’t do their boat like this or they can’t afford it 😆
yeah, that's how dislikes work my g
the 21 thumbs down would be "You don't run dry pumps!"

Not gonna lie I was waiting for a flat screen TV to slowly rise up from that front hatch.
