Wow! Love your videos! I know now that your are a Canadian Well you could be nice anyway! 😜 Just kidding , love your videos, Subscriber! Lovely dog! Curious, Bergen is a Norwegian town and in Norwegian and Swedish also = Mountain
Happy birthday JP! Hope you had a great day climing that pile of rock😁😎. You looked kinda rough there for a while 😬😆? Maby it has something to do with getting old😂🤣. As always I really enjoyed watching this video of your struggles reaching the top. I am however a little concerned about some of the higher peaks in this project though. Can't you find a grassy hill in a flat country somewhere like you did in Denmark?? It would be so much better för my heart 😂😜. (And another thing I missed in this video... food! Where's all that wonderfull food???😮😁 All honours to cupcakes, but it won't cut it! I T I S N O T E N O U G H!!😂🎂🍕🥗) On to the next one!!! Be safe my friends Björn
Thank you Björn! 🤩 your keen eye and witty comments never stop making me giggle and smile! I know we totally missed out the food but a sandwich and apple aren’t so glorious 😂 Next peak will make up for it AND don’t worry, some hills are coming 😁🤣😉 oh god these ones are gonna be funny 🤪 Glad you enjoyed 💙 see you in the next one 🤩
Thanks for uploading, great watch. The title says this is the best way up to the top. Just wondered how it compares to the other routes and why you found it preferable to the other faces and ridges. Thanks.
Great question! I would say it was the best way to do it because of the sunrise and less people on the trail. The other routes are similar but I would choose this one anyways 😄 The one from Mirador de Trevelez is shorter so I definitely prefer a longer one. This isnt the same for hiking during the winter, it’s a different mountain and I would recommend to do it in two days 😄
Thanks for taking time out to reply. We just did Romanias highest on the longest day route in based on recommendations from other hikers. Shared experience is a valuable resource. Thanks again.
Ah. I live just outside Lanjaron below Mulhacen. Glad you enjoyed it here, and yes once the tree line finishes it is a bit like mars ha ha. I'm off up there in August. It's a good way to eacape the heat here at the low level of 1000m😂. I'll be going up from Trevelez. I can catch the bus from here, that way i can leave my car at home, do the summit and then walk the three days back down to home. Thanks for sharing, subbed and will watch some more soon.
I have a house halfway up. I lived there permanently for some time, but now it’s a holiday home and up for sale as I had to return home for family reasons.
How many hours did this take? I want to do this hike for my birthday next week, but I am not sure if it's worth it. Also, did you use alltrails or an app to follow in the dark or was you able to navigate by the signage on the path?
Oh, i got altitude sickness just on 1500m when driving from the Mediterranean to some in my opinion high mountain village. I was feeling motion sick and dizzy. Cant even imagine how 3000m+ feels. Although i guess hiking is in a different tempo than driving.
Great video! This was a fun watch!
Happy you enjoyed it ☺️
@@NatashaBergen I really really did! :)

Ouf that would be intense! That’s a fast change for sure 😳😅 we took lots of breaks so that probably helped ☺️
Spain =Teide, Teneriffe. No?
100% yes, this is the highest of mainland Spain and Iberian peninsula 😄 Teide is coming 😉
