Hey! I’m Natasha! :)
I'm an adventure traveller on a mission to reach the highest peak in every European country! That’s 50 peaks in total because I added a few 😉
I film and share these outdoor adventures and city vlogs while I travel to each peak. The peak project is officially called Just the Tip because there’s so much more to it and life than just just checking things off a list. Yeah, I’m aware it’s also a cheeky joke 😝
I'm super passionate about helping others live their adventures! I believe to my core that anything you set out to do is possible when you believe in yourself. Thanks for joining the journey!

Hvannadalshnjúkur is Iceland’s highest peak, and it’s full of crevasses and the longest guided day hike in Europe. It’s a mountain where the weather changes drastically, and it suggested you go with a local guide because of the glacier’s complications. There’s a very good reason the hike failed and it’s not one you’d expect. This is the story of what happened and what’s coming for next year in ...

Have I ever experienced a city that stole my heart? Yes. Bergen. 🇳🇴♥️
Im not too happy working. Love my free country and healthcare.. But would love your job, going around the world and talk....
I went to Iceland 10 years ago, I will go again next year😀 You are making great videos 👍😃
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Tromsø is not that far north. Still 700-800 kms left before you reach the end of Norway.
Moro do ladinho dele na Horta
And why you go to northern part in winter and big city (helsinki) where is Turku (biggest argipelago in the world)?Tampere, so nice lakes around of a city. ? If you not know, in northern part of europe is gold winter and snow. Everything is freese at wintertime. Why you come to visit finland or noerthern europe in summertime. There is sun that never goes down etc.
Come to New Hampshire…
Natasha, sometimes it sounds like you slip into an Irish accent
The bears aren't in a 'pit' any more, they now have more space with access to the river, trees and caves where they can hide. But I agree incarcerating animals generally is problematic.
Damn i love Barcelona, been there every summer the last 6 years😂 How do i find a job that doesnt require fluent spanish? I know about callcenters but i would hate it, all the industrial automation and robotics companies wants you to speak spanish haha…unfortunately ”cómo te llamas” is not enough
Sounds like it’s your place!! That’s awesome! I’d take a look at tech companies, a lot of them are international and it’s a huge tech hub here 🙌
Literally every person who lives in Barcelona is trying to justify petty crime by saying "just like any other major city" but these don't happen in any other major city. Only in Americas and South Europe.
9.26😂 Hope you saw one 💚❤
No luck 😅 I saw a mom and a baby in Estonia though! That made my trip!
If you just went on this trip, right now all the moose are hiding out at the local bars and on ICA parking lots and such. It’s moose hunting season… they will be back in the woods racing trains somewhere in November or so.
Wow! The fjord looks soo purty!! 😍 what time of the year were you in Tromso? How cold was it in the evenings? Thanks
Fire cocktail is made by sprinkling Cinnamon over white sambucca - DING DING did I win?
Nice! Almost wherever you are, you get a great view, although rainy and cloudy! Good to know about getting a sim card for data as its not part of Europe with its roaming packages.
It’s true 😊 the world is a beautiful place and Europe in particular!
oh come on! the most famous street in visby and you do not mention pippi longstocking? :) at 15.55 you walk past the "candy store"from the first 1969 movie ! :) great vid, i enjoyed it
Whaaaaat!! I have to go back now just for this! I had no idea 😲
@@NatashaBergen visby is the main filming location for pippi. I have found over 25 locations. The original house still exists, in kneipbynn , a small themepark just outside of visby.
Great video! Switzerland looks like a nice scenic country! Its was great to see you had a good time! I enjoyed watching this! R.I.P. to your grandpa 🙏
I’m super happy you enjoyed it 😊 and thank you 💙
@@NatashaBergen You're welcome
🤍💕🤍💕🤍💕🤍💕
It's important to note that while the historical bear pit still exists as a structure, the bears now live in a park on the slopes of the Aare and can freely transfer back and forth into the bigger pit if they want to It's not quite wilderness but muuuuuuch better than it used to be in the pit alone and of much higher quality than most zoos. Based on some of the reviews online you'd think it would be better to fill the pits in so the tourists stop believing that that's all they get, but then again you'd think after 20 years people would have figured it out...)
EU and Europe are not nearly the same. Europe is a continent and the EU is a Idea of Politics where switzerand is not in.
At 3:18: "I know it was a lot harder than I thought..." Now you know why the place is called harder Kulm!😂😂 There ARE free roaming bears in Switzerland since about 15 years again. Nice video, BTW.
Hi Natasha! Do you edit videos yourself or you outsource it? I’m an editor and would love to discuss, if you’re interested
Hello from Switzerland, first of all I would like to welcome the fact that you are taking the weather and the natural conditions as they are and as you can see, you are also prepared accordingly with your clothing. 👍 The pictures you took despite the "bad" weather are breathtaking and unfortunately of the kind that are rarely seen in this weather, although they convey their own kind of mood. The thing with the bears, although I lived in Bern for a time, is also very questionable for me; Although the bear is Bern's heraldic animal, no enclosure can be appropriate for the species (the old enclosure was rather unsuitable for animals). You can actually find public fountains in all larger cities, be it Lucerne, Zurich, Basel or Geneva. I don't know the exact number, but I know that these cities have no less, with fresh drinking water (fountains with water that is not drinkable must be marked accordingly), although certainly not all of them are as historic as these in Bern.
Is that a Canadian accent?
You are complaining about the "bear pit" in Bern. But it's important to know, that the "bear pit" is history for approx 20 years already. Instead, the local citizens have collected money to replace the pits with a "bear park", which is much much bigger than before. I wonder, if you have been there, or just read about it?
Three rules. Don't mention Wengen, don't mention Wengen, and don't mention Wengen 😂🤗 It's a fantastic village, no matter if it's in the summer or in the winter. Just don't tell people, it will get crowded 😍
Oopsie 🤣 at least it’s not in the title 😉
So water fountains are basically historic Facebook groups where people meet to chat. 🙂
😂
How nice of you to try our form of outdoor life, and showing it to The World. Outdoor life is part of our lifestyle, and is practiced differently and to varying degrees.
You have helped me SO MUCH!!! Thank you!!! Would totally join your group! Hope to be moved within 12 months. 😊
Super happy to hear! I hope your prep and move goes well! 😁
Interested in Swiss urban climbing?
the altitude got to me a bit while we were in the Mürren area this past August. I suspect you were feeling some effects of climbing in altitude and experiencing a bit of oxygen deprivation.
Glad to see you liked Wengen, my favourite place in all of Switzerland. I’ve stayed there many times and done many walks in all weathers. Shame you didn’t get better weather - I was amused that the two walks you did, the Lauterbrunnen-Wengen path and the walk to the Leiterhorn, are both ones I reserve for really wet days! And if the day is too miserable even for them I go somewhere like Bern!!
What really? Great minds think alike! 😊
Another great adventure. It looks a beautiful place, no wonder you were smiling all the time. That train was pretty cool and spotless. Hope you get to my Wales in the future💚❤️👋
You also love trains?! Ahhh yes I'm hoping to get to Wales soon 🤩 Any tips, let me know! I've only been once to play some rugby but that was ages ago
@NatashaBergen I'm not big train or car fan, that train looked amazing. I would try to help you on your Welsh trip. I know so many places that you could see, I'd help you where I can too. Let you use my camping gear and things. Brecon Beacons is amazing. Waterfalls, mountains, bothies (Free old house) I know places here that many people would watch. Last weekend I met up with a lovely lady and walked her to a crash site (1950s) It was a family member of hers. There's a few in area most were Canadian crew, all the plane is there. I'm not a stalker😁 If I can help someone a little bit I will. I would help you and share a few things and places. You could use my bag everything and just give back when you are finished 😁👋
Sorry the weather didn't cooperate. Such a beautiful place to be no matter what though. Your uncle's ATM card advice is backwards. Always select local currency if prompted to get the exchange rate from your own bank. If you select your own currency you let the foreign bank determine the exchange rate which will always benefit the foreign bank. It's a common way for ATMs to make a little more money from the transaction.
Hey Jason! It was indeed lovely eh! Thanks for letting me know about this currency thing. It's so funny because we debated for quite some time and eventually the group had decided. So I'll do my best to remove it so it doesn't confuse anyone :)
Great value! Thank you Natasha :D
Discretion is the better part of valour...
Huh? Always select the local currency, since your own bank usually have much better exchange rate than their card machine vendor. I guess it all depends on your bank. Especially in ATM or euronet machines
Haha omg yeah it was a huge debate and I usually lose 😂 I'll do my best it fix it so it doesn't confuse anyone, thank youuu!
Your way of showcasing Switzerland’s stunning views in this video is fantastic Natasha, and your practical tips are helpful as always. It’s great that you always tell us the cost of things! This exact area is on my list of places to visit, so it was great to watch this 🙂I noticed you mentioned paying in your home currency was the best option, but I’ve heard that paying in local currency might sometimes offer better exchange rates and fewer fees. I usually pay in local currency for this reason. So are you 100% sure about this? As a Swede, I obviously face this dilemma more often when traveling in Europe than someone from a € country 🙂 Thanks for the great insights and beautiful footage! I’m always rushing to watch your uploads 😄 PS. As you probably already know, the eggs in Sweden are not refrigerated but are stored in an area next to the dairy/fridge. DS.
That's so cool you're planning to visit the area 😁 I hope you have an amazing time! Feel free to let me know how it goes :) Yes you're right 😂 I'm seeing that majority knows best and local currency is better 😁 So I've fixed it now so no one gets misinfo 🙏
I love how you always smile and find things to do when your plans go awry, always so positive, sending you big love mate x
Super happy you like the vid and it came out positive! Hehe it's usually my fault when something goes wrong 😂 so maybe I've gotten used to it 😂 Big hugs right back at yeah!
I did my erasmus semester in Bergen last year and I've never felt happier anywhere else. Of course erasmus is always a cool experience, anywhere you go, but counting that in, Norway and Bergen just hit different. Where else can you take a bus or tram for just 10 minutes and you're immediately in stunning nature with no civilization in sight. There's something special about this place. I might be back in Norway in a year for my masters degree 🤞
Dimples.
I'm from Singapore & I just returned from Gothenburg a few weeks ago. I loved it there & I miss it terribly! Totally agree with about the cars! They let you cross!
We call that bird "Rype" if I'm not mistaken. Fun video! I would not have thought ending up here in Tromsø by accident would be possible 😂
My father inlaw did the running of the bulls back in the day and lost a shoe... I don't believe there were ropes on the bulls then. I believe tha be a little more fair. Hopefully you your feeling better
can you please share which neigbohoods are good to live outside of BCN city centers with reasonable rents?
You can check this out for free on my website 😊 It doesn’t include rent prices as this depends on the time of year but gives a nice overview of the main neighborhoods.
Great video! Barcelona sounds like a fun city! Maybe you can live in a more northern European city someday if you dont mind it being colder. The public transportation system there sounds great. About all we have where i live is city bus systems and taxi cabs. I was busy earlier in the week so couldnt watch and message then. To me you would think things would become cheaper over time because cheaper ways are being found of making things. I know here in the US corporate greed might be a reason why 😢 i really enjoyed watching this!
Brilliant again. Everything is expensive. You seem to be working hard. Keep enjoy your journey. Very cool. I hope you make Wales one day💚
