    I could be wrong but AS FAR AS I KNOW you deal with warps and cracks by yelling. A lot. Then throwing the blade as hard as you can across the shop. Bonus points for further breakage.

    I welded a cracked once with 7018 rod suprise...... yeet anyway! Lol

    I know this is an old video but I gotta ask, if only The tip hardened and not the belly. Do I have to thermal cycle it? And then do the quench. Or can I quench it twice without thermal cycle? It'd 1/8 1095 6 inch long

      Any time you fail a quench, it is best practise to re normalise before quenching again. There is too much of a chance of abnormal grain growth otherwise.
