- This is such a fun project! Bubble bath confetti has 3 elements: bubble bath straws/noodles & sprinkles.
STRAWS
100 grams baking soda, 100 grams corn starch, 50 grams SLSa sodium lauryl sulfoacetate (or an alternate "bubble bath maker"), *15 grams meringue powder (or baking soda) + 30 milliliters fragrance oil, 60 milliliters alcohol, 30 milliliters liquid surfactant (cocamidopropyl betaine), *3 milliliters polysorbate 80, *15 milliliters color stabilizer, & *2 milliliters preservative. Items with an Asterix (*) are recommended but optional. Wet ingredients may be replaced with more liquid surfactant. If you increase SLSa, decrease baking soda &/or corn starch by the same amount.
Mix wet & dry ingredients separately then combine them. Whip on high 3-5 minutes. Divide icing & add color to each. Lay down paper & pipe lines/shapes. Dry 24-48 hours. Scrape straws off with cake smoother tool.
NOODLES
RECIPE 1 (light coverage) {STANDARD RECIPE} = 1 milliliter alcohol, liquid color (recommended), .25 milliliter fragrance (optional), 1/4 teaspoon mica (must have), + 1/8 cup noodles. Mix ingredients. Dry 15 minutes.
Recipe 2 (medium coverage): STANDARD RECIPE + .25 milliliters liquid surfactant (COA betaine); it allows more mica to stick to noodles. Mix ingredients. Dry 1 hour.
Recipe 3 (full coverage): STANDARD RECIPE + .25 ml. liquid surfactant + .25 ml. polysorbate 80 (acts as glue for dry mica). Mix ingredients then dry overnight or promptly remove excess liquid. Coat noodles in sparkling mica, dry 30 minutes, & sieve extra mica off.
SUGAR PEARLS -
Shiny coat: 1 milliliter alcohol, liquid color, & mica. Mix ingredients. Dry 15 minutes.
Sparkling coat: [same as above] + .25 ml. surfactant + .25 ml. polysorbate 80. Mix ingredients, remove excess liquid, then coat pearls in dry mica.

😍WOW WOW WOW AMAZING! What fun! Oh I must make some! 😍💕
This is awesomeeee thank you, Dora!
Thank you for being such an inspiration and sharing your knowledge . I love your work!
My pleasure!
I am wondering why you need a preservative when you completely dry the noodles. Thank you for your hard work.
I love you channel! Thanks for sharing your tutorials. Can you use melt and pour soap dough to make sprinkles to then use in bath bombs and bath salts etc?
You're using candy beads in the bubnle bath? Interesting. Gorgeous and creative!!
This is a great video…. I’m going to have to try this….. Thank you…..
Thanks so much. I’ve learned heaps from watching many of your videos and I subscribed weeks ago. Could it be possible to make your confetti recipe and then use an extruder instead of the piping bag to make the confetti?
I just found you and I’m going to attempt:)) to make these. Thank you for sharing. 🦋
Have fun!
I love this
you may have already gotten a comment from me???. after watching this one, i am so blown away! so if you already got one from me, who cares. i want to tell you once again that u are freakin amazing! like wow Dora! everytime i see a new video from you i am like a kid at christmas! who hoo! .....but seriously thank you so much Dora-
You're so welcome hippy chic! I'm glad you get so excited for my videos!!!! I must be doing something right!
Beautiful
Would it be possible I wonder to make this but add more dry ingredients to make it more like the consistency of soft play dough and then instead of piping it out, use a fondant extruder to push out long lines of dough and let them dry on paper to cut up and make straws etc as you have done? I would appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks
Do you think that using bath oil beads in place of the sugar pearls would work? Or would the oil just kill all the bubbles?
super cute
Another question for you, Dora…. If I make these ready to add to bath bombs and bath powder, can I leave out the fragrance and if so how would I need to adjust the recipe? Thanks
Amazing
So, this may be a dumb question but I am extemely inexperienced and just starting out.... The candy shaped sprinkles will dissolve in the bath with the rest of the noodles and straws? Don't be too harsh on me, I am a newbie here but these would be EXCELLENT party favors for my daughters mermaid party next month!!! LOVING all of your tutorials (and I too live in Lousiana :) )
Yep! The warm bath water just dissolves the candy :)
Gracias Dora esta súper 😊
¡De nada Lenddy!
😍😍😍
Ya tiene traducción al español ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ amo amo amo todo lo q haces
The Poly also helps the mica not float on top of the water and mix with bath water
Right
One question tho, did you buy the sugar pearls or did you make them yourself?
I bought white sugar pearls & then colored them myself
❤❤🎉🎉🎉 ❤
Are the noodles and straws made from the same recipe or something different..?
So ❤❤cute
I’m confused, you make your own noodles AND you buy the white ones and color them?
I do have a question, will this make the bath water feel sticky from the noodles and pearls in it?
No
Hahahahaha ok I have to admit~ I tired this~ I got the UUUUUglies~ onna try again when I have 15 minutes~! But good idea~ I'm gonna try it with the surfactant
I don’t understand what’s the white thing?
