Love my Govee backlighting. It took a little bit of messing with the settings but I finally got it so it’s super accurate and colorful. Thank you for sharing your original video about them.
I had no idea that back lights for TVs, were even an option as a thing. I always thought that you just had lights right behind your TV’s whenever you did a review. That’s very cool. I will have to look into picking one up and seeing if there’s a way I can make one work within my space.
I have found the original version was all over the place because of the single lens camera. In also found the that the white balance absolutely needed to be changed out of the box as it was entirely too warm. I am looking forward to using this new version as the camera seems to be a huge improvement.
I have the Govee Imersion Kit (last model) on my LG C1 65 inch. New model counterweight is concerning tbh on a thin screen. With that said, Govee works with anything on the screen from any source, not limited to an hdmi source or screen refresh rate limitations - that's the best part. ISO overexposure aside, Govee is a great experience and I'm happy with my setup. Gaming sessions and movie nights are awesome.
Had the older model govee lights (1 camera) and thought it was oookay and camera kept falling off my LG C1 so I returned it and now have the Phillips hue on the way with an additional light bar and sync box but now that I know it does not sync with apps I’m about to return it and get govee t2! Unless a new way came out to sync the hue with apps?
If govee is a littlebit more accurate i would buy them. I love the govee products. But at the moment am waiting for the accurate colors hope they fix it before it hits europe
i have the s95b 65" and also concerned about the laser thin design. looking at the T2, is there a way of mounting the led lights on the wall instead of the tv itself?
@@brobovick same question.. i am rocking a LG G2 and it's flush wall mounted.. looks so preety damm .. but what's the solution for me... Why why Mike why
I have the DreamScreen 4k unit and it is so smooth but they are out of business but I still use it. Well I’m getting a new 75in Samsung tv next week. Should I take it off the 65in and use it on the 75 or get the Govee t2. Please let me know.
They need to allow just the small camera to detached (a USB C socket?) from the huge mount and just be sat on a surface looking up at the TV (from below) and a small wire to then be fed under the TV. All the huge plastic mount just gets in the way.
Yeah i had to put my camera on the bottom too cuz my tv stand is glass and it kept making it appear red all the time. You can perfectly put it on the bottom center right under the Tvs power button and wedge it. But it looks a lil sloppy cuz the cable just layin out
If you still plan to make the next video where you compare the Philips Hue with Govee T2, could you also add a comparison with Lytmi Fantasy 3 and maybe Govee TV Sync Box? Thank you
Yeah i noticed that colours are way to oversaturated on skins. It helps to put the saturation to 0 but it has to go lower to get accurate.. so i hope they add an option to lower the saturation even more would that help in your opinion? I mean or they just add the iso option you said
I just bought Govee T2 to use on my C1and I tried to use their official calibration video but my gray color is way off even when I try changing the white balance is either green or yellow (white is good for some reason) I mange to get better result of color accuracy when I go cooler and use warm 36 instead of warm 50 but I hate I need to sacrifice color accuracy for it could you see if you get similar result not sure if I have a problem with my unit or govee are calibrating the camera to work on cooler picture settings
Q this is not really related to this video but I think you might be interested to know that there is a way to restore the 1500 brightness of the S95B even through the latest 1420.9 Firmware update. If your interested just let me know as it’s done through the secret menu within the service menu.
Honestly this i why i hate youtube reviewers, comparing a camera based system with a hdmi syncbox, and then suggest and pretend as if you even would have to test anything to know that a syncbox will perform much better.
Meanwhile the hue is literally useless for Sync without wifi, doesn't have hdmi 2.1 support, and only works on hdmi devices. Govee is far more versatile and costs less. And if you haven't seen the new T2 you may still believe what you wrote
govee t2 wont work properly on a curved tv.... flickers like crazy....I have one on a flat o tv too and is fine.... but dont buy for a curved one. Also app is lacking... cannot switch on automatic on video mode... only dreamview... and can only connect other lamps / leds etc to sync in dreamview... not tv video (dreamview is way too dark)
Get yours here

It'd change the way you watch everything 100%
@@Quantum_TV Awesome! Yeah, I definitely want to look into one now.

Wonder if you would do a review on the lytmi fantasy 3 I’m interested in it it because they say it supports hdmi 2.1.

Hey dude for someone that’s got a very slim mounted tv on the wall how much of a gap would one need for the camera to fit in?
Im also interested to know, I have an 83 " OLED hanging on the wall and looking at that camera stand it seems you need quite some space to fit it.

Got the t1 not knowing the t2 was out -_- gonna keep the t1 and hope for a more accurate t3 down the line.

that red turned purple... because Spiderman is red AND blue
Nope. Govee has an accuracy problem. They can fix it by lowering the iso of their camera.

Did you use an nd filter or a polarizer to get the govee to function better?
Sadly this model has 2 cameras. You'd need to customize something for each so no
I Have a 30 inch curved monitor does anyone know if the camera would still work on a 30 inch curved monitor
