  • Teagan’s message empowers his fellow youth
to take action on their ideas and begin working
towards their dreams. The problem, is that we
live in the information age where youth are
flooded with information and don't know where
to start. Teagan calls this analysis paralysis.
Teagan proposes that all you need to do is take
a step in the right direction to cause a chain
reaction. Teagan is an entrepreneur, CEO, public speaker, and soon to be author. At the age of 9 he raised enough money to build a school in Africa, which sparked his passion for doing good. This passion, combined with his love of Pokemon cards, is what inspired his mom, Chantelle Adams, to challenge him to come up with his own card game with the positive twist of doing good. Teagan was on the national tv show Dragons Den with this card game at the age of 10, and has since sold 650+ decks of cards to families, as well as started doing assemblies at schools. He is now 16yrs old and just launched another business of his own where he is teaching his fellow youth how to achieve success in their lives, and is currently writing a book about the 10 universal principles that anyone can follow to achieve success in all aspects of their lives. He is also starting a program to teach kids how to be successful and make/manage money and be happy/grateful and all around more responsible and better all around! This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
