Man the RECTOVERB 25 is... SAD BUT TRUE

For a long time I could not get a good sound from the Mesa Rectoverb 25 + EMG Bonebreaker (KH-BB) combination so decided to put some time and experiment with Metallica's classic Sad But True... after fiddling with the Recto boosting strategy and a few IRs holy shit did I get a nice tone. On top of this, the Bonebreakers IMO seem to be a darker, lower output of the traditional EMG-81 so they required a bit of extra push.
This is a shorter version of the song trying to showcase the best rhythm and lead parts. The bass, drums and vocals are the original stems, all guitars by yours truly. Enjoy!
