The Washington coast is.... incredible. Join us as we head west. Stop to explore bridges, a temperate rainforest and have our first shot at clam digging. For me, adventure is comprised of experiencing new places, trying new foods, or learning new things. Sharing that with my family is why I do this. So we packed up the kids and headed for the PNW to visit family and explore a small part of the Washington coast.

When I see the joy and wonder that the Pacific Northwest brings to first time adventurers, I feel ashamed for taking it for granted because I live in the midst of it. If you ever get a chance to hike out to Cape Flattery out on the Northwest point of Olympic Peninsula you won't regret it. High cliffs overlooking rain forest right to the ocean which bores caves into the shear cliffs where cormorants fly into to nest, and you might see a bald eagle or two as I have. I'm still so amazed when I travel north from my Oregon home which is pretty green, but nothing like the Olympic area.

How do you prepare them? I’ve never done it until this video. These were all basically just cleaned ti be frozen for later use in clam chowder .
